Berenjak in Borough is probably the classiest Persian food available in London. They have good locations and are always tasty. I have visited their other locations and they never disappoint. I would like to specifically mention Deejay, he was a great member of staff, extremely friendly and really goes above and beyond for his customers. The vibe is always busy and noisy in their restaurants, but in a good way! I loved every bite of the food and would always recommend their grilled chicken as it is the tastiest thing on the menu. I have to say though, the hummus used to be my favourite, but it has really gone downhill. I remember it being thick and also chunky; but now it was way too paste like and runny. I really loved how it used to be, so I wish Berenjak would bring that back. Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will always return again and again!

Berenjak doesn’t need any more praise then gets, but I’ll chime in here as well. The space is beautiful especially with the new extension! The food is absolutely amazing, the Hummus, the Chicken salad, the dips, and the chicken and lamb are all amazing, nothing was bad. Some of the chicken felt a bit hard to chew on in the center, probably need a minute or two more cooking but overall excellent! There was no ice cream unfortunately as machine was broken, but overall excellent experience. I recommend you take the 55 pp set platter. Ah yes, the bread was amazing as usual! Very hard to get a reservation, booked a month ahead!

If you’re able to get a reservation here, secure it as soon as you can! Berenjak has been on our list all year and we were finally able to secure lunch reservations at their Borough branch in August. The restaurant is absolutely stunning inside (although I have pics, I’ll leave that as a surprise) and the food is absolutely fantastic. We were 3 in total and ordered 3 set lunches, you get plenty of delicious food for your money! I highly recommend the taftoon bread with any of the dips, I’m still dreaming of the hummus!

Hands down the best Persian meal I've ever had. The kabob, must-o-khiar, and hummus are incredible. We really enjoyed the open kitchen and seeing everything being prepared. Truly a work of art! Will be one of my first stops the next time I am in London
