Food tasted divine. It was a good sized portion and I felt full to bursting. The combination of spices and the presentation was very appealing visually. The staff were accommodating and ensured that items were prepared for the palate of the diner. A dish we requested was served mild rather than hot as the finer was unable to eat 'spicy' food. The dining experience was comfortable and we were not hemmed in by others and did not feel rushed to complete our meal. Overall a good first experience. The restaurant was recommended to me, and I myself would not hesitate to recommend to others. I did not use the bathroom as this was downstairs (to be fair, I did not enquire whether they had a WC for disabled persons, I just could not manage the stairs and left it at that).

The restaurant is well ventilated which is perfect for warmer weather. We chose the pre-theatre special, which was £16 for two courses. The spring rolls were excellent and definitely the best dish. The Thai green curry was full of flavour but lacked any curry so the rice was coated but there was no visible sauce. The Pad Thai was good, however the Tofu had the texture of rubber.

Busaba Covent Garden is my absolute favourite restaurant. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal; especially the calamari from the small plates! All the staff are friendly and always efficient, happy and polite. My friend wanted to take home the chef. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in Covent Garden.

They brought the dessert before the mains for some reason. I don’t know if you can see from the pictures but the portions were really tiny. Food was delicious though
