The chicken burger from @shakeshackuk

As many of you may or may not know, shake shack UK have now started serving up halal chicken burgers.

What you may not know is that's it's an absolutely rubbish burger and total waste of money!

If you have have been following my foodie journey you know I'm straight to the point and no nonsense. I feel it's my duty to tell you do not waste your time with this. 
Honestly, it was crap. The chicken had minimal usage of herb and spices. The breading was a single layer of hard glass like texture, it felt like eating chicken wrapped in glass. 
At £6.25, I feel like I was robbed. I've had better chicken burgers for £1.

Honestly, the underated zinger burger (with chips and drink for under £5) from KFC is 10 times better. 
Bad food makes me angry.

Oh, if you want a good chicken burger. Then the tower burger from @meatgram. Chicken is halal.

The best burger and chicken bar in London!  We absolutely love this place, the staff go out of their way to help and all seem upbeat and friendly.  The guy who served us checked then double checked for my son's allergies and as we were leaving another member of staff asked us if we had a good meal and to have a nice day.  The chips are the best, so so good all of it!

Ate here late one evening. Place is very busy but taste of burgers is great. Great shake as well.

Chips not very hot and our order disappeared from the processing list bit a really helpful staff member sorted it for us.

Had to argue to get a fresh pint as they serve lager and wine.

Lovely food, good price but slow service.

Very nice, if you are looking for something unique, not something standard, then I think you would like Shake Shack. They have burgers and fries which are perhaps quite standard but the ice cream/ yoghurt is very unique and tasty. It is quite popular as well so you may have to wait quite a while. Prices are fairly high if you were to compare it to somewhere like McDonald's. If you are looking for something different and unique I would say it is a nice place to go however McDonald's also has very nice ice cream, or you could get some for even less at a supermarket. Overall a nice place to get some food, not too long to wait once ordered.

Pros: Decent enough burger.  Nice chips. Ketchup/Mayo and Mustard sauce provided for free.
Cons: Poor service. Burger was missing ingredients that we didn’t ask to remove. Relatively small portion size.

The chicken we use in our Chicken Shack and Chicken Bites in every UK Shack is halal-certified, including our 2021 festive Black Truffle Chicken item.
