I had the jerk chicken box with rice and jerk fries (see image attached - I already started eating before taking the picture). Everything was great - there were no bones with my chicken, it was charred on the grill and still juicy. The gravy that accompanied them was flavourful and enhanced the whole box. The most surprising part of the meal was actually the (cherry?) tomato which was in the gravy; it was bursting full of flavour from the gravy. It doesn't always come with the gravy as I didn't see any in the orders before mine, but they should consider adding it to each box. Would recommend and will be back

The seller didn't say a word while he was taking my order, which I interpret as being rude. The food was so-so. Jerk chicken inconveniently comes with a bone, the slaw is too fatty. The fried plantain was nice though, thus +1 star. Overall too fatty, too much liquid gravy. The meal items don't play together well. Won't come again. Definitely not a £10 service.

0 stars.Food is prepared by another company and simply put on the grill, it's overpriced take away food. Many get food poisoning, including myself.Hygiene rates are very low, your food is transported in cabs after being cooked to each site and then sits for hours.Food is kept all together in a disorganised way and in the open where you could literally step on it.Chefs re-use dirty dishes from day to day leaving black pieces in food in the small shacks.Staff DO NOT get service charge, don't pay it!!Pays employees unfairly on different rates. Staff are underpaid.Food is unauthentic and the owners have said they make it for white people who have never had Caribbean food. The boss is extremely rude and bullies his employees. Holistically, this business is a joke and Matin Miah is a FRAUD. Proceed at your own very high risk :)

The owner didn’t say anything to acknowledge he had accepted our order which I found extremely rude. The plantain was swimming in oil and all I could taste in the salt fish fritters was flour and scotch bonnet.
