The South Bank in London has a multitude of wonderful places to eat. Here are just a couple of dining spots to whet your appetite.

@bunsik_london now have 3 locations, but the least manic location in terms of queues is on the Embankment, a stones throw away from the South Bank. If you want to try the best Halal Corn Dogs in London, then @bunsik_london is the place to visit. Halal items are clearly indicated on their menu.

After a leisurely stroll along the River Thames on the South Bank, another great place to try is @bobs_lobster, which currently has residency at the Terrace inside the @nationaltheatre. There are no Halal meat options, but most of their menu is Fish or Veg options. Dishes such as Lobster Roll and Crayfish Croquettes are amazing.

As the festive period is now approaching, there are so many awesome street Vendors you can checkout as well on the South Bank.

Came here for a quick lunch as it's just a 5-minute walk from my office. Luckily there was no queue so I was able to order as soon as I walked in. I decided on the potato mozzarella corn dog as I was really looking forward to the cheese pull so I went ahead with that and got some sweet chilli sauce and mayo on top. Waiter was friendly and I waited for around 10 minutes as they were freshly deep frying the food according to order.

I enjoyed my corn dog a lot - it was crispy and hot and I got the cheese pull I wanted! Portion was perfect for me who has a smaller stomach than most people. The one thing that dragged the score down for me was that the stick fell off as soon as I had my first bite, so I ended up finishing the corn dog with my hands which was not ideal since it completely defeat the purpose of putting it on a stick.

I liked the overall atmosphere with K-pop songs running on a TV in the background when I was eating. Really brings back the good old days when I was a hardcore Kpop fan so that was super nostalgic for me!

I had very bad experience in this place. I ordered a vegetarian noodle, and when I was ready to eat it there was a little piece of meat in it, and I showed it to the front desk and she wouldn't admit it was meat and said it was mushrooms, and I was absolutely 100% sure it was meat, but they wouldn't admit it and they were so mean. I said give me my money back or make me a new one, but she said no , as a customer I did not have taste the noodle and they throw it away without any apology or compensation. They were just laughing at me and saying Chinese to each others. Never go there again and never recommend anyone else.

Staff is genuinely really friendly and the food is really good (although some are slightly on the salty side, so rice is a perfect companion with those that has sauces). Really recommend!

Went there a second time and first time trying corn dogs. They are really good👍

Hot dog tasted really soft, not my type. The cheese & cheese one with potatoes is really cheesy. Fried chicken looks better, might try that next time.

Alternative location if you want to try their famous corndogs but don’t fancy the long queues near Leicester Sq.

Glad they had a chicken option. I tried it with mustard and spicy mayo. The chicken sausage was delicious and the sauces also very good. The spicy mayo for me wasn’t spicy but that’s probably me.

I wish the corn batter was crispier and not as thick but that’s a personal preference.

I recommend trying it at least once for the corn dogs.

But if I visit again, I’d be more inclined to try the other dishes they have there.
