We were recently invited to visit Apple Butter Cafe in the Seven Dials area of Covent Garden. The food is a blend of Middle Eastern flavours with a western twist, making it very unique.

Firstly we tried the Slow Cooked Beef Pasta and the Rigatoni all’Arrabbiata, which we’re both cooked exquisitely. Both displayed some amazing fresh flavours and the pasta was perfectly al dente. The former of the two dishes was particularly unique, as the dish was packed with flavours, while the beef and the pasta sauce blended beautifully.

Finally we tried for desserts, the most talked about dessert in Covent Garden right now- the Apple! This was a desert shaped like an Apple, coated in white chocolate and filled with apple mousse, with sprinkles of chocolate cookie crumbs, dried apple and honeycomb surrounding it. It was as heavenly as it sounds! 🤤 This was by far one of the most unique desserts we’ve eaten.

Overall, this is a great, cosy cafe with some amazing quality food and high standards at very reasonable prices in the heart of London. The staff are great too, which is always a massive bonus. We will definitely be returning to try out more of the menu! 🙌🏽

Truffle

The truffle parmesan fries are TO DIE FOR! Veggie truffle and aged beef burgers were phenomenal. Don't freak out about the fig jam it's actually really good. Also, the spiced rum cocktail was a banger. Very attentive and polite service as well. 11 out of 10 would recommend, we are definitely coming back!

Amazing!!! The food was excellent, and the guys working there were very nice. We sat at the bar
(my favourite part) which overlooks the kitchen, we saw how our food got made, got served some crisp cold lager, and had a lovely chat with the staff.

Overall brilliant evening, will be going again!!

Amazing burger! Had the classic truffle. Patty was cooked to perfection and tasted yummy. The mix of bacon in the patty is a great touch. Texture of the crunchy shallots and gooey raclette cheese is awesome! Highly recommend this place and will be making it a regular place to go.

Enjoyed my time at truffle. Staff were incredibly friendly and super quick. Had the truffle burger which is there signature dish. The burger was good I think i would have enjoyed less of the fig jam. That’s just personally my preference. Chips were really good and decent portion. Some people may initially think the truffle is an over powering flavour but it isn’t. Would have liked the option of ketchup and mayo. One thing to bare in mind there is limited seating inside so you might struggle to get a big group inside. But overall good experience.

Honestly, I think this is the best burger I’ve ever had. Plus it’s a good price for the location and lovely staff!

Our beef is Halal. Or you can go for the truffle burger without bacon and you will need to let us know to remove the bacon when ordering. We have a separate grill which we use in Soho to cook the beef separate from any pork products.
