This place is an absolute meat lovers paradise (Not for the lack of a tasty veg option). Most of us opted for the mix grill and we were all thoroughly impressed with everything that came out. The steak was a favourite and we couldn't get enough of the lavash we had with our starters. I opted for the chicken wings for starters and was surprised at how delicious and tender they were. Compliments to the chef. The cocktails went down well with the ladies in our group too. The service was brilliant, both waitresses and the gentleman on the bar (presumably the owner but I didn't think to ask) were lovely. Genuine service with a smile from all. Everything was brought out quickly and we were attended to quickly if we needed drinks. It wasn't busy when we booked which gave us chance to take in the rather lovely atmosphere of the place, a kind of classy Mediterranean vibe. Even the birthday tune they sang was Turkish themed and a little bit manic which definitely made it fun to join in with. All in all, I wholeheartedly recommend Istanblue and I'd definitely like to dine there again in future. 10/10

Came for a 70th birthday party, booking was very accommodating to requests (birthday cake, decorations etc). Was really taken back by the amount of care and service the staff took on our meal, and hospitality. Portions are great, but taste is even greater. Easy to have eyes bigger than your belly! Beware! As a treat though, fantastic food, great atmosphere, fantastic friendly staff and thoroughly enjoyable! Kudos!

The staff were amazing and restaurant was well presented! Great service and Having heard of the place being awarded for having the best kebab, I was eager to try it. We ordered the VIP mixed grill for 2 for £55 and there was a couple of items which was decent but honestly mostly tasted the same and wasn’t impressed overall! Felt disappointed to have travelled 22 miles and being let down by the kebab! The people did give us complimentary hummus and bread along with dates to open our fast which was a great touch but unfortunately was disappointed with the food

Great Turkish restaurant. Really well done decor with a lovely atmosphere,food is always amazing, I would definitely recommend the sharing platter.

I wish to thank everyone involved in the preparation and presentation of our meal on Sunday evening. It was exceptional in every way and added so much to our enjoyment of what was a double birthday celebration. Please pass on my special thanks to all concerned. We will certainly be coming again and we will have no hesitation in recommending you to all our friends
