Japanese Restaurant located in Galataport. Overlooking the river Bosphorus. Modern design, open-kitchen. We tried testing the menu for two people. It is not very clear how the menu was compiled, because there is a lot of alternation of fish, then meat, then shrimp, then chicken, then fish again. But everything was very tasty, the eggplant was the most delicious I have ever tasted! The serving and presentation of the dishes could be better, the waiters say something very quietly under their breath. A big minus is that there is no such thing as one waiter for one table(you asked one waiter for something, he already ran to another table, you ask the same thing again from another waiter, and the third waiter brings you and it’s wrong).

Good service, amazing ambiance and view. Most importantly food was really good. We started off with cocktails and from then on none of them disapponted. Very good experience all around.

Delicious meal and good service right next to the Bosphorus. The design and the location of the restaurant are phenomenal. Most tables are spaced out. If you don’t like loud restaurants you won’t enjoy it there. Definitely try the yellowtail tartare, shrimp tempura, grilled eggplant, and the lamb chops. Dessert was one of the highlights of our meal. Definitely try the Lotus and Yoghurt Cake’s. Most of the choices come with ice creams so no need to order separately. The service was slow until our table fully arrived. It took three asks to get a bottle of water. Once we ordered service was great. They time everything quite well. You table won’t be empty nor it will be full during service. Expect to pay for the privilege to eat there however it will be worth it. Reservations are required as of May 2022. It is rather popular these days. Plenty of interior and outdoor seating available. Lots of public transport options to access Galataport. Parking available at the Galataport. If you are only going to Roka make sure to park close to it.

Very good food and vibe. The hosts and waiters were accommodating and friendly. It was on the more expensive side in comparison to other restaurants in town, but it is much cheaper than the same restaurant’s branches in other countries. The restaurant has a prominent location at Galataport and is recommended.
