Came for brunch and pastries. Service was good and staff were able to identify for me which pastries were Halal. Menu is limited and pricey for the location but its very spacious and has outdoor seating. Coffee only comes in one size and they don't do syrup if you like that in your lattes. I was a bit gutted that the cruffin with tiramisiu had alcohol in it so I had to swap it for the almond pastry.

Really pleased to see this place open, and sitting alongside Nell’s it really adds to the quality and choice for the area. It’s also good to see that everything has translated to a second site superbly well. The staff are all ace, coffee is great, and the bread is top quality. The bakery stuff is clever, technical and well presented; it’s all put together neatly whilst still being interesting and tasty. Had a great, quick lunch and a takeaway double bake pastry & excellent caramel tart. Space is modern, slick, maybe a little awkward in layout. The outdoor seating is lovely.

Honestly I enjoyed there. Great stuff welcoming. Also, they have amazing coffee and bakery, one of the best coffee in Manchester. I have tried sweet, sandwiches, and many deference drinks all of them were awesome. Highly recommended 😍🔥

If I lived in the city then pollen is one place I'd visit daily. Whether it'd be for a drink, brunch or to pick up some fresh bread they have it all. Love the simplicity of Kampus Pollen. We ordered: Creme Brulee French Toast Wild Mushrooms with Chimichurri & Labneh Cinnamon morning bun Caramel Chocolate Cookie Matcha latte Egg mayo sandwich Tofu Katsu sandwich 28hr Sour to go Strawberry Fraisier to go Basque cheesecake to go Let me tell you about the French Toast: Bruleed Croissant Loaf French Toast, Chilled Vanilla Creme Anglaise + Creme fraiche WOW absolutely WOW. This is one french toast that doesn't need to be soaked. When you break that crispy brulee top you submerge into a soft loaf hitting the creme at the bottom and you get this mouthful of sweet, crunchy but melt in your mouth combination. No other way to describe it really. The mushrooms were really good and tasty. You really couldn't tell that you were having oat labneh. The morning cinnamon bun was huge and had the most generous amount of cinnamon sugar. The ratio was spot on. The sandwiches were very thick and filling and the tofu katsu resembled chicken amazingly. Their Basque cheesecake was super soft. I really can't fault Pollen and literally would go every day. Service was fab. Can't wait to go back.

i really enjoyed the katsu flavour and the sourdough used but i think all the sandwiches are batch-made in the morning so it didn’t taste super fresh. the egg in the breakfast bun was so silky and almost custard-like, i 100% recommend!! cappuccino was also close to perfection; smooth and strong just how i like it 🥰 but i have to say the service was pretty slow… they wouldn’t take our order bc the kitchen was busy but then they forgot ab us so we had to remind them we still hadn’t ordered even after 45 mins of being there. imo they should have taken our order first and just explained
