You Me Sushi

Perfect little place for all your sushi cravings!!! This place was recommended to me by a few people and it was only when I actually tried it out that I understood why. Clearly not enough people leaving reviews, as every time I pop in (which is a lot!) It’s always busy and I only hear good things.
Can’t get over how amazing all the staff are here - from management to chefs , and of course how delicious the food is! Cannot praise it enough or recommend highly enough 👌🏽

Usually decent sushi but last order was really bad:

- "spicy tuna" looking grey (see pic) and tasting like cooked tuna mayo with no spicy sauce or seasoning at all.

- "crunchy" roll that had some flakes sprinkled on top of old looking gelatinous rice.

- Random piece of fried chicken in one of the boxes (we had no chicken in our order at all, which was worrying)...

- Not really any tobiko on a california roll

- 50£ order had 1 sachet of ginger and 2 tiny sachets of wasabi

I emailed customer services but had no reply. Shame,  but there are plenty other sushi options in chiswick.

Fish tasted old and was smelly. Tuna looked grey in colour. Hot food was once again not hot but warm. The squids rings inside the soup are lethal. My son and I both chocked on the skin left on the outside of the squid ring and it was a nightmare. My throat is sore! The squid rings are huge and don't try to chew them, you can't. Be careful!

It was a disaster to say the least.
Never again.

Lovely staff, always a friendly experience. The food is delicious, best katsu chicken and the korma sauce is amazing.
Definitely recommend

My favourite place for on the go sushi. You me sushi is honestly the best quality and it’s a shame they aren’t everywhere around London, they put other takeaway sushi places to shame.

We have recently improved our processes to remove mirin (alcohol) from our preparation process. All our chicken tempura is halal but our chicken gyoza is not halal.
