Honest Burgers St Albans

To begin: I didn’t try the food yet. However, I came to have lunch, door was open but no one inside. Two ladies were sitting outside smoking. One asked me how to help and mentioned place will open at 5. Fine no problem. I asked if I can see the menu, they both didn’t seem pleased, one went and got it for me and stood waiting for me to return it. I thanked both of them kindly they didn’t reply. That’s not polite. I get it may not seem as a big deal, but for someone who didn’t  try the place and food yet, it does big time. My brother who came to visit from another country was so annoyed with their attitude. Costumers can read body language well too and they clearly showed they’re not in the mood to even give a menue. I recommend either being nice and work or don’t bother asking how to help. Thank you.

What a great experience at Honest Burgers. Loved the burger, loved the atmosphere and Victor was so helpful and made great recommendations. Will definitely come back!

VEG/VEGAN OPTIONS!

I ordered the fritter burger and it was so tasty!! I wasn’t expecting it to be THAT good but I was very satisfied and have been here twice in a span of a week to bring other friends. I was happy with my visit. The service could be faster but other than that its decent.

My husband and I went for a meal recently - one of our first in months as we are new parents. The St Albans special burger that my husband ordered was charred on the outside and overcooked on the inside. This was disappointing as we don't get many meals out and we usually consider Honest to be a safe bet where they know what they are doing/you are unlikely to have a bad or mediocre meal. I wrote to Honest to give them feedback on this recently but no one ever got back to me about it, which was also a bit disappointing. We will probably give them another go in due course as usually the meals from Honest are a lot better than this.

All of the chicken in our restaurants is halal. If you would like to see our supplier’s halal certificate please ask your server when you arrive. Halal products are stored separately with strict processes in place to stop cross-contamination. Halal chicken items are handled with separate utensils and gloves. Fried halal chicken burgers and wings do not share fryers with any non-halal items. Grilled halal chicken breast burgers are cooked on a reserved area of the grill separated by a grill divider. We do not offer halal beef at any of our restaurants.
