I've found that Food in shisha lounges tends to be quite average, as the focus is usually on Mocktails and shisha. However, this is NOT the case for @vyb_dalston a new restaurant and shisha lounge 📍 located in Dalston. Swipe for more pics and menu

Even though I live in Ilford, it still took me an hour to get here by car! I arrived to a busy shisha lounge with a good vibe. The restaurant is currently in a soft launch phase and has a limited menu

However, I was pleasantly suprised with the food. I got a mix grill, lamb chops (accidentally ordered this), VYB Burger and Korean wings, chilli con carne chips and 1 Mocktails and milkshake. You don't offen see French trimed thick juicy lamb chops cooked to medium, this level of quality was only seen in high end restaurants a few years ago, but great to see here done right. The flavours of all the grilled meats where we'll balanced and flavoured.

The burger had a good meaty taste, it was flamed grilled, but packed with loads of fresh ingredients and well made sauces. The chili con carne chips were a favourite, really morish and tasty!

I got a VYB Mocktail, which was too sweet and syrupy for me. The shake was good

All.in all, good food, well presented and a nice place to chill if you like shisha. There is a restaurant area, separated from the shisha area, but doesn't have a great vibe. I don't smoke shisha. Meal was on the house. Thoughts and words my own.

I come to VYB lounge for  the first time. Service was prompt and had an amazing meal which I really enjoyed Particular standouts were Korean bbq wings and the VYB burger.

Tables were clean and well set. The interior design is classy and sophisticated. It's nice that it still retains a casual vibe which was really nice.

As mentioned, the service was impeccable. One person in particular ,Yasmin as I believe to remember with the blue hair went above and beyond - total professional, incredibly well mannered, answered every query in the politest of tones and ultimately made our evening even better. Good service makes all the difference.

Visited VYB from a recommendation of a friend - was told the Shisha is smooth and food is excellent. I have to say the recommendation far exceeded my expectations, the Shisha was excellent did not get harsh throughout my stay, smoked big clouds and coal was changed without me having to ask. The food was delicious and really impressed me, usually food at a Shisha lounge are mediocre but here the food was amazing! High end restaurant level in terms of taste and flavour. The staff service was impeccably, we were looked after by a brilliant young lady!

Really pleased with my visit to VYB Dalston last night. A place I would highly recommend. The decor is very nice and modern. A very relaxing chilled out atmosphere. The food was amazing and the shishas were quality too. The front of house space is for food only so you can go and enjoy the food even if you're not a shisha fan. The customer service was second to none. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Was served and looked after by a gentleman named Salman. Thank you for a good night out and i will definitely be coming back soon.

I walked past VYB this early evening, a stroll not far from where l live, on my way too another resteraunt, stoped to read the menu peered in the window, thought yes l want too eat here, didn't even know what l fancyed to eat, until l was handed the menu, by a charming young man , named Alarm who instantly made me feel comfortable, with his personal vibe, his presence.
Olives assorted green, black and kalamata olives in Mediterranean seasoning.
Classic Burger, gourmet Chuck and ribeye beef patty, Gouda, house relish.
Follows, vanilla scoops of ice cream, generous portions of just 2 scoops.
A coffee with cream. A green mint tea ,served at the correct temperature,, in the correct cup n sourcer, with a sprink of fresh mint leaf.
It is deciving from the outside, as a peer in the window, first looked small , what I'm trying too say it's continues through too a much bigger space, more than invites, family and friends too eat together comfortable in a nice space, also leading on with a garden and Shisha experience and fun, music at a level, where you can still enjoy and talk openly banter.
The staff are new, so it's young man's success too succeed, also most important wash basins, for regular hands wash, without going too the loos.
