Tongue & Brisket

I had a large roast beef sandwich (meal), the authentic way. It was so good and fulfilling. Will definitely try it again in my next visit, but in a baguette and less horseradish sauce.

Having come from the USA, this is legitimately the best Rueben I’ve had possibly in my life. Can not recommend enough. The meat is devilishly tender and the rye slices are super soft. I’m sad that I am full and can’t eat more.

First visit and most definitely won't be my last! Great location, food, price and service!!

Lots of variety and selection of food. We got the Reuben, classic salt beef and the swiss cheese sandwich. The meat ones were perfect! Tender, well seasoned and generous. 2 options of sizes. The one in the photo is the regular size.  We got the soup combo with one of the sandwiches and the chicken matzo ball soup was also really good. The vegetarian sandwich was a little lacking. It was exactly as advertised with coleslaw and tomatos but some fresh lettuce or cucumbers would have really added to it.

Location is small but there is seating and it's a clean establishment. I really appreciate the friendlessness of the staff and they took the time to answer questions and not rush you.

The Reuben and the ox tongue sandwiches were both phenomenal!

PSA: the soups (barley and bean; chicken) are hot, but are solid additions.

I forgot to take pics for the other items and accidentally took a bite of the Reuben too. Whoops.

10/10 for value and quality

Great spot. Family owned business, meat is delicious. Decided to try food at the second location and it did not disappoint. This time I got a Meat box with roast beef and an Ox Tongue sandwich. Great place, highly recommend it.

We've had to change some of our suppliers since COVID19. Our salt beef and tongue is no longer Halal. But all other meats such as roast turkey, roast beef, chicken schnitzel, chopped liver and chicken soup are all still made with Halal meat.
