First impressions of Buddies were good. The restaurant was clean and bright and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I ordered the chicken fillet burger (£2.99) and added regular fries & a drink (£1.49) to take away. The food was cooked fresh with a short wait. The paper bag was fine but could have done with a handle to make carrying it a bit easier. The chips tasted ok and seemed to be well seasoned but lacked a bit of crispiness, although I wouldn't say they were soggy. The chicken fillet burger was a very decent portion considering the price, it tasted nice to me but was noticeably salty which may not agree with other people's palates. The strawberry crush drink was lovely, it didn't come with ice but that's my preference anyway. Overall I was pleasantly surprised with the food as well as the reasonable prices. There is definitely room for improvement but as with any new business let's give them a chance to iron out the kinks! I will likely be a repeat customer and look forward to trying out some other menu items.

Definitely worth the drive. Food was amazing and the staff were very friendly. Will be going there more often now and would recommend everyone to give it a try. You will not be disappointed.

Really impressed with this place. Right from the decor, the service, to the most important most Important, THE FOOD!!! The chicken was very flavoursome and the burgers were scrumptious. To top it off they even sell sundae ice creams, just what you need after a filling meal. I would definitely recommend this place. Buddies is the best compared to all the other big branded competitors. I hope they can franchise out nationwide so I know I can always get quality food with quality service no matter where I am.

Got there at a good time as it’s been busy since they opened. Branding and restaurant is appealing but misleading as it’s basically a PFC in Nando’s clothing. Food is very average and costs a fraction of the price round the corner. Coke had no syrup in it. There were 10 staff on shift but mostly just chatting. Service was decent from the staff who were actually working.

Absolutely amazing selection of food at Buddies! My friends and I drove about an hour to try the new spot out and can hands down say it was one of the juiciest burgers I’ve ever eaten. I never write reviews for food places however, everyone needs to visit this place! The service was outstanding, everyone was so friendly and helpful and extremely attentive. The food was 10/10 and I will definitely be recommending the restaurant to everyone!
