House Of Chai

The food and service was phenomenal at house of chai. First time visiting but the portion sizes were massive and very tasty to say the least. The breakfast was very nice and the French toast was an absolute delight. Soft brioche roll drenched in chocolate which melts in your mouth! Will definitely be visiting again!

Very disappointed with the food and service! Good presentation . One of the starters was served cold. The chicken burger was just a grease ball which came out after everyone had nearly finished eating and I’m pretty sure it wasn’t cooked through (the result I will get tomorrow) I had a nibble on my friends steak which was pretty decent but overall if I came for food with my friends I expect to eat with them…

Left feeling shocked at the customer service at this place. We were waiting for our food and when we expressed that we had been waiting some time, the male manager was confrontational and not apologetic at all. It led to the whole experience as being very uncomfortable. The food was average when it came out. At the end, the female manager was very apologetic about the behaviour of the other one and dealt with the situation in a professional manner. She proceeded to state that the male manager apparently didn’t want to accept payment. We were happy to pay as we were not bothered about the money, just the customer service. He clearly knew he was in the wrong if he didn’t want to accept payment, although he didn’t tell that to us himself and that says a lot about his ego and pride. If he apologised himself,  we would have left feeling better. Will not be returning!

Is one of the better brunch places. The full english breakfast is good, but the french toast is amazing. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely decor, great service but sadly disappointed with the food. Based on reviews i thought the food would be amazing. Great presentation but was cold and so mild with not much flavour at all. Sadly won't be returning. I am assuming its better known for desserts and breakfast.
