Me and my dad came here after I seen it on Facebook and it did not disappoint. It was quiet when we arrived at 12.30pm we got served straight away and when we did have to que it was for long at all. The food was amazing, crispy and fresh, the drinks were gorgeous and cold! We waited 30 minutes but it was worth the wait and the price! Everyone was really friendly and helpful. Can't wait to come back again.

Fantastic food at Kong's (in dog bowl). Quick service, friendly staff and an awesome chicken burger. We got the Korean and Bombay chicken sandwiches. Both fantastic! Had their food at a few places and love it. Highly recommend!!!

Came here on a Wednesday night and it was suuuuuper quiet. However didn’t affect the vibe at all. Staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. Considering it’s a chicken shop, the vegan options are unreal. Everything from the menu to the playlist was well considered and thought out. The frickles come highly recommended! Honestly wish these guys the best with their venture and hope that they’re able to get their own permanent home in the near future. If you like fried chicken and you’re in central Manchester, a visit to this place is a no brainer.

I’ll be up front and say that my experience was via Deliveroo, in which case I am usually much more lenient with food knowing that it has to survive a 10 minute bicycle ride. However, given the slew of positive reviews of this place I was excited to try it, having recently moved to the area. I have to say I was extremely disappointed. The “straight up” which I have pictured here from Deliveroo, appeared to be a delicious looking fried potato concoction, with some fancy flavours. Imagine my horror opening up the styrene carton to find a handful of catering pack hash browns. Granted, they were cooked well (crispy outside & fluffy inside) but this is not what I was expecting at all. And not for a fiver. The burgers themselves were decent, as previously mentioned I cannot properly judge the quality after them being crushed by my Deliveroo rider, but the flavours were strong and positive. Chicken was well cooked and flavourful. Although I am pretty sure what I had was the Korean burger and not the Blue Cheese as ordered. Maybe next time I’ll have to come to the restaurant. I’m sure I’d have had a much more enjoyable experience. But I’d definitely steer clear for delivery.
