Franzos Walthamstow

Went on a weekday just before the lunch rush hours (before 12pm), so wasn't too busy. It did get busy after that though. 😅 Just saying for those that want to avoid as many humans as possible. 🤪 Anyways, was served quickly and everything came within 10-15 minutes. Ordered Chicken Strips (Hot), Plain Fries, Mix Salad and Ferrero Rocher shake.

Chicken Strips were good, spicy enough. As a spice lover, I should have ordered them extra hot though. 😂 Fries were nice. Ferrero Rocher shake was yummy! 🤤 I didn't like the Mix Salad as much as the rest, felt like the dressing was a little too tangy.

10/10 customer service. I would visit again to try other menu items. 😊

I enjoy Franzo's food. thought I'd check out the one in Walthamstow.

Nice clean restaurant lots of space service was alright nothing too special.

It's a shame this branch is so far out from the main Walthamstow central area or would be more busy. Its in a quiet ish area.

UPDATE: I forgot to mention the chicken strips were basically just chicken breast cut up. They could have been cut in a way where it wasn't flat. Also I did order chilli cheese bites and can't lie they just tasted they were store bought from frozen and heated up which is why I gave the food rating a 3.

Popped in for a quick bite on a quiet wednesday afternoon.

Place was pretty empty.

As we walked up to the counter the guy behind the till (the guy with a lisp) just stood there like 🤨

My friend had to be the one to engage and say Hi how are you as it got awkward.. but all was well and we ordered our food

I went for their peri peri chicken burger (hot) with fries as my side. 🍔🍟 I've had this a few times before from the ilford branch so I had an expectation in mind..

The burger tasted good!!

A nice soft warm bun, the chicken nice and hot and saucy, flavoursome.. inside was a generous amount of mayo and some lettuce 👌

The plain chips were okay, not as good as Nandoses chips but they were fine.

The food also arrived pretty quickly, and Franzos seem to be good with timings even when they are extremely busy (Ilford  experiences)

If you have never been to a Franzos, its a must visit

In my opinion the best value for money, great tasting fully halal Nandos alternative, Franzos and Five Lads deserve to be visited more frequently.

Last night I had dinner at Walthamstow branch with family. The restaurant was nice with plenty of sitting, staff were friendly and helpful. Ordered whole zingy chicken, chicken wings, beef burger meal and couple of chicken strip meals. The was food was really tasty, fresh apart from chicken which were little on a dry side. Recommended, especially if you’re going with family. ⭐️ off for WC (need cleaning & toilet paper).

The most unprofessional, rude and arrogant management for a supposedly family restaurant. Seemed to have made many mistakes with orders and when asked they became aggressive in front of other diners. Embarrassing and lack customer service experience.

We will be making sure not to recommend this restaurant to family and friends of Walthamforest.

Unfortunately there wasn't a minus rating available. The previous reviewers seem to have the same narrative about this management. Fix up and don't embarrass yourself
