This is another place that has a small menu. Its a good thing. Less items means the workers have less intricacies they have to memorize in order to make the food. You have 3 choices for your main dish: 2 tenders 2 sliders 1 tender, 1 slider Nice and simple. All they have to get right is the chicken. AND THEY DO. The chicken is juicy and covered in Nashville Hot Chicken style oil. The chicken is good on its own, but I prefer the full experience that the slider offers. With the freshness and crunch from the slaw, the soft buns, and the pickles coming together. Pro tip: they give you honey for a reason, and you aren't coming here for your health.

Stopped by right after landing in San Diego for a week-long conference with a group of 5 hungry and tired men after a 5-hour flight and I must say Dave's just hit the spot with the comfort food for us all! The chicken was hot, tender and delicious - it was my first time trying Dave's and there's definitely nothing like it! I like that the menu's small so it makes choosing easier, especially for the indecisive folk like myself. I was too *chicken* to try a higher spice level so I stuck to the Medium. Each meal comes with a generous portion of food, often hard to finish! I liked it so much I can back before the end of the trip for another round. The chicken served here is halal, they have a certificate on the board just by the cashier as well. The staff is friendly and service is fast too. And you get honey with the chicken too - is that to cope with the spice?!

No doubt about it, the chicken is definitely hot. I had the second most hot option and my mouth was scorching at the end of it 🥵 The food was absolutely delicious and fresh. It was well packaged, the fries were crispy, the location was clean. I will definitely be visiting again; I’m really impressed with the quality of this restaurant.

We absolutely love this place. The chicken breasts are a decent size. I find the hot level options great. The coleslaw on the sliders is very tasty and I normally can't stand coleslaw. The pickles are yummy as well. Don't forget to dip your fries in the Dave's house sauce. Very filling meal.

It is a good marinated and spicy chicken strips. I did not like the bread buns with chicken, they like the ones you get from the grocery store. They have levels of spicy as you tolerate. Prices are moderate. They have indoor dining.
