Slider + Strip Combo / hot spice level slider with cheese, slaw, Dave's sauce, and pickles, chicken strip on white bread with pickles and Dave's sauce and ridged fries - 5 🌟! Dave's Hot Chicken is one of the first generation Nashville chicken places. They have also caught the expansion bug and have multiple locations throughout LA. This location on Fairfax is really nice. I can't remember what was here before but I'm pretty sure they built the building for the restaurant and didn't just lease out an existing space. Their chicken is very worthy of a big audience. It is tasty, crispy, and hot. I have to mentally prepare for intense spice but I still enjoy heat with a meal and their hot level did the trick. They have a simple menu featuring three basic combos, sliders, strips or one of each. All at pretty good prices for a fast casual place in LA. If you are on a tour of LA's hot chicken, make sure to stop by Dave's.

Pretty cool spot. They make good, spicy chicken at fair prices. Open relatively late & have an easy pickup window. Not the best but also not a bad value for your money. Pictured is Combo 2 (2 sliders & fries) + one additional tender.

Amazing fried chicken sandwiches and tenders. The coleslaw, mac and cheese, and milkshakes are all great, and the Dave’s sauce is excellent. Spice level is no joke! Totally worth taking it there though… always go for an extra hot slider, plus some hot tenders to bring to work for lunch the next day. Only once have I dared to brave the Reaper. Whoa. Dangerous💀… but still totally delicious 🤤

I tried the Carolina reaper chicken, even had to sign a waiver and it wasn’t that hot. Chicken was coated in a spice rub and too greasy and salty.The chicken was juicy but the flavours don’t penetrate the meat. I liked the fries.

Amazing customer service! Amazing aesthetics & most importantly the food was phenomenal. Typically don’t eat fried chicken out of the hood, but I fell in love here ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥
