I ordered #3 and wasn't disappointed. The chicken was cooked perfectly, I got the reaper level heat and it was pretty hot but not as hot as I like. Their sauce is good and I think their slider bun is quality. I'll go again next time I'm hungry and in Irvine.

Best Dave's Hot Chicken in Orange County hands down. They have a drive thru too!! I'm normally used to waiting for a while for my order to come out but the service was pretty fast. Ordered the combo #3 and it was soo yummy, i have 0 complaints. They made it perfectly. The customer service was also very friendly! Will for sure come back. Man, it was so good!!

Monday night I was tired and came to this place to try something new, I ordered one slider with a side of fries with little mild spice level. And there was a option to tip but I didn’t have to, no one is it’s not a requirement especially in this kind of food places. I got it to go, when I came home and open the box I see a dreadful chicken on a walmart sourdough and bunch fries that soaked in oil. First of all I ordered a Slider with little mild spice level and I’m 100% sure that was not the slider, the slider looked different on the picture, but they shoved me a freaking BRICK ON THE BREAD and one bite you’re teeth is out, from one bite my mouth was full of unknown spices and I did not taste a chicken, maybe there was no chicken. Very bad place to eat at night and terrible customer service!

Had a delicious meal here and will definitely be back! Chicken was juicy, tender, and flavorful. Fries were crispy and seasoned well. Edit: Visited this place 2 more times after my initial review of 5/5 but downgraded to 4/5 as the last 2 times were not really enjoyable. The chicken is SO salty. They really need to cut their salt levels in half. Offer salt on the side for those who like it salty. My colleague also couldn’t finish his meal because it was too salty for him as well.

I visited this location on a Friday night and wasn't as busy as some reviewers mentioned. Food: the chicken was fresh and the taste was really good, we got Dave's #2 which comes with two chicken sandwiches and a side of fries. Honestly, you can share it because the portion is big. I asked to get it extra crispy/well done, the cashier didn't know that they can do it and when he asked they said yes we have that option. Location: (interior and design) They don't have enough chairs inside and outside you just have to stand by your car to eat. Interior design is nice and fun. Overall rating: I can give only 3 stars because there are so many other places that you can eat with better chicken. It wasn't a bad experience but It was an ok experience nothing so special about this place.
