Pure filth! But in the best way! Tried this place out for the first time and it was great. The sides and starters are tasty AF and the burgers are loaded with so many options it's hard to pick! The Freddie's fingers and frickles are brilliant! Make sure you load up on sauces as well.

Heard good things of Fat Hippo and so sought out a quick bite to eat for lunch. Happy to find they do a burger and fries lunchtime special for around £8. Much better value than its neighbour Five Guys. Burger was a decent size patty and fresh bread. If I was sitting in I would try some of the more unique offerings but it was good none the less. The fries however were magnificent. Spicy and fresh and delicious. Lots of burger options in town but this is a firm contender for top spot. A must try for any burger fans

Good burger place, nothing unusual there. Huge choice of fillings and sides are a decent size. The staff is attentive and it's reasonably priced. Good if hungry and in town but don't expect anything you haven't tried before.

VERY dog friendly! 🐶 Best beef burger I’ve had in Glasgow, Fat Hippo have knocked it out the park. Loved their Newcastle restaurant, this one’s even better. Highly recommended, upgrade to waffle fries 😉 Alcohol license is now in place, drink responsibly 🤩

Service was a bit slow but the food is great! Big burgers with bold flavours and interesting combinations. I'd rather pay separately for chips, here the burgers come with chips so you have to pay for that included in the price. The chips are very good but it can be a bit too much food for some people.
