The best Iranian food in London. Me and my husband are huge foodies and this beats any other Iranian restaurant hands down. We have tried many places in London for this cuisine but Mahdi is number one. Even if you are not from the area it’s worth the trip. After you eat here you’ll never eat from another Iranian restaurant ever again. Others I’ve spoken to feel the same way too. Thank you for never disappointing us. Value for money and very very satisfying and yummy food. 10/10.

Astonishing food as always with huge portions. First class service and great all round experience in the beautiful restaurant. Plenty of the main left to bring home in a box for second meal! Been before and will return again for many more incredible meals.

I thought with COVID, I'd "eat out to help out" but it seems like Mahdi do not want my money. I called to book a table for 10 people later on in the week and the woman who answered said they were fully booked - I asked her when they would next have availability to which she said she "doesn't know". Once I pushed for more information, she said she'll book in my original request BUT I'll have to call back tomorrow to confirm. At this point, it's clear she just wanted me off of the phone. I called back today as requested, only to be told they only have availability at 6pm or 9pm (I had "booked" 7pm). What happened to them being fully booked all week? If you don't want a specific type of people in your restaurant, then at least keep to the same lie! I used to come here all the time but the attitude of the staff has gotten progressively worse over the years and until I hear it improves, I won't be going back.

Food was good, a bit overpriced and some of it a bit cold. Staff were friendly and nice. The place is amazing itself

I would give this place 0 stars...I called up to ask if they have a dress code..no was the answer...then I asked if you can wear shorts ..the answer again..no...English is a problem in this place...I was going to book a party of 13...then decided after they can't speak English and don't understand the meaning of "dress code"..that you and anyone else should steer clear of this person place...try Molana in wet Ealing ..they don't hang up on you and can speak English..! Useless place this is..
