#Ramadan2019Edition We went to Fredo’s for Iftar the other day as it was close to home and the menu looked great!

Our visit started off well; we were given dates, a selection of fruits and soup to break our fast with, which we thought was really lovely of them 👌🏽 For mains we ordered The Swiss Burger and The Big Bird, a cheese burger and a chicken burger. The Swiss Burger was definitely better than The Big Bird, the latter was extremely dry. The mac’n’cheese we ordered came out cold and so did the chips. Further to that, our food was given to us 40 minutes after Iftar had started, and an hour after we ordered. We realise that it may be difficult to accomodate to every individual need when everyone is eating at the same time, but 40 minutes is pushing it 🙄 We were really disappointed as it seemed like the food had actually been cooked a while ago and just hadn’t been brought out. The tables near us who ordered after us recieved their food before we did. Not great.

𝙊𝙣𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙠𝙨 𝙄'𝙫𝙚 𝙝𝙖𝙙 𝙄 𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙨!

I checked out @fredosldn this week, a fully halal (no alcohol) restaurant located on Romford Road, Manor Park. This place has been opened for a a while now but I'll be honest, I just thought it was another standard place, but I'll hold my hands up and say I was wrong and I was really impressed with the food

The venue is itself looks great from the ouside and has a modern family and group friendlt vibe inside. The menu consists of pizza, burgers, grilled chicken and steak, so something for everyone

I got the rib eye steak £23 and my bestie got the £21 sirloin steak. I'll say this now, this was one of the best steaks I've had in ages. I requested Medium Rare and ill be honest I wasn't expected it to be cooked right... But it was on point. The steak was perfectly cooked, juicy, tender and the fat content and marbling was excellent. Which made me ask here they soucre their steaks from. Well they get it from @hillfarmfinest a small farm that really raises animal and produces some quality products that are available for home customers to buy. So this explained why it was so good. Which then made me respect the restaurant more as this was an clear example of getting quality

Also got some grilled chicken which was very good, the BBQ Wings were also amazing and I'd say a must order, easily my favourite now. I didn't like the original wings as much compared to the BBQ

I don't normally get mocktails but I got a pinda Colada which was also excellent. The mojito I thought had too much sugar for my liking

They also have dessert but I decided to skip

So if you havn't been, I definitely recommend it. This meal was complimentary, but the thoughts and views are my own.

@fredosldn is a grill restaurant and dessert lounge with stunning floral decor and mirrored walls. It was very unique, giving off a beautiful ambiance. Also, the service was very attentive and friendly, we were shocked at how quickly the food arrived considering they was hosting another event! - thank you again for inviting us down 🥰

Every single dish was a hit! The starters went perfectly with our meals and the wood fired pizza was just perfect. It’s usually hard finding a halal eat-in Italian wood fire pizza place in London, so this definitely went down a treat.

The smash burger consisted of two gourmet beef smash patties with sautéed onions and cheese. Could of done with some sauce inside but it was literally mouth wateringly delicious either way!

Our favourite meal of all had to be the golden buttermilk parmesan chicken with creamy mushroom sauce - this was just chefs kiss 😘🤌. The mocktails were also very refreshing and complimented the meal just right.

We cannot wait to go back and try their other dishes! They do a bit of everything from steaks to seafood as well.

Lovely food, beautiful ambience and decor. Value for money as reasonable pricing and generally organised throughout. Would definitely come again

A few friends and I popped in for a quick bite to eat. The venue is clean and modern and spacious, we did go mid week and it was pretty quiet.
I found the pizza a big size and found it hard to finish. The starters were okay but the wings were slightly on the smaller size. The hummus was okay but did taste store bought. We paid £16 for our starter platter, which was far too expensive. The food was okay but the price is not. I found it all too expensive and some items did taste store bought.
The milkshake was lovely and no complaints there.

Went to this restaurant with high hopes and frankly was pretty disappointed from the get go, very dismissive and unaccommodating to our groups request for a different table (we requested more private seating or even a booth for personal reasons, their answer was basically just no, I found them pretty rude and bear in mind there was a booth that we would have sufficed that remained empty for our entire visit so it was not like they were fully booked or there was no space). Next we had to queue (for a fair amount of time) to place our order and also pay before getting the food which I normally have no problem with but to me a restaurant that sells food at their prices should warrant table service (£19.25 for a steak but I had to stand in line for 10-15mins to order it). Then to top it off they refused to provide tap water, not even asking us to pay for it but point blank refusing to provide it and last I checked restaurants are legally obliged to provide free tap water here in the UK and regardless I think it is common courtesy and would take no effort on their part. As a whole all of this happened before our food reached the table so we were already put off. The food was alright I think overpriced and for me you pay for the service as much as the food and didn't appreciate being treated as if they were doing us a favour. Wouldn't recommend and was very disappointed.

Personally I liked it a lot and their half chicken is nearly identical to the Nandos one. The presentation of the good is also good. You don't really expect a place like this to be on Romford Road loool

Service very good , atmosphere 👌 👏 
Food is always hot and delicious 
Highly recommend
