Halal Reviews for Modoo Bayside

I go with my wife to this restaurant many times a year! This is the best place to have a bite. I visit this spot regularly. The cooking is very tasty, the team is professional and the cost is decent. I like meeting in this restaurant for a decent lunch.

They have the best halal spicy boneless thighs in Queens. Always ask for extra spicy if you get the sweet spicy flavor to make it extra juicy (the one in the picture is how it comes when it's a regular sauce amount). Very nice staff and service. Thanks again.

Worst ever,, I mean Ever in my life. 5 drum stick for $16, must be good right? I never seen any drum sticks like this, it looks like they fried the leftover and it must be. 2 out 5 were just decent meaning it looked like drum stick but skinny ones. It got me so angry I stopped my kids and wife eating these. I wish I have pictures before eating them, these are two drums they fried the left over from other customer. If the picture is clear you could see I did not eat any of those. It looked like someone bit off but you will see it doesn't have meat, it's all crust. How a drum stick look like that, it doesn't have meat in the middle, it's a bone that I see. The owner should go to hell selling leftovers.

I would give 4.5 stars if I could. Had the fried boneless thighs with sweet chili sauce, spicy beef ramen, and a side order of the fried rice cakes (not pictured). Everything was amazing! The chicken was extra crispy and delicious. The ramen broth was spicy and savory and the noodles were perfectly good. The staff is also wonderful to be around. Would definitely go back to try more dishes.
