OMG! Firstly I am huge fan of Mediterranean food and after I had lunch at this place, this is my go to restaurant for Mediterranean cuisine. The staff was friendly and had a good knowledge about what they are serving. Since we are vegetarians we tend to be more careful as ask a lot of questions if we are unsure about some dishes. The server was able to answer all of them nicely and did make us choose some of the best ones. Will definitely recommend trying this place out for a nice lunch 🥗

The food here is so good that I landed up taking a takeaway of their mezze in a cool box to Edinburgh.

Wonderful food and service. We had the mixed mezze platter as too hot on a 34 degree day for much else and the selection was amazing. So happy to have moved onto this street, this will definitely become a local!

My boyfriend and I arrived here by chance when the restaurant we showed up for was booked and we were so happy we did!! Gorgeous meal, great atmosphere, friendly service. We will be back!

The Iskelé was recognised as the country's "Best Value" restaurant at the British Kebab Awards this year. And given the quality of the kebabs had during our review, this was certainly reflected in the prices. However, our greatest let down of the evening, and one we hope was only an incidental blip, was the chef's apparent heavy-handed use of salt in some of the main dishes. Otherwise, the kebabs were fairly well cooked. In any case, one huge positive for The Iskelé was how well regimented all the waiters were. Despite it being a busy evening, they carried a constant smile with them along with an unstintingly positive attitude throughout as they served and catered for the requests of the customers with such professionalism that wouldn't be out of place at any high-end restaurant.
