It’s lovely restaurant, and beautiful design. The food is good and could say it was delicious. The music was an added bonus which makes the environment even better. The only thing that is lacking in my opinion is their service. There were more than enough servers but not organized, so they could not deliver good service to the customers. The place was packed on Saturday night, especially with the music event. For the first 30 minutes, the server showed up only once just to take the order!!! In the TWO hours, we stayed there, none of the servers stopped to ask if we need anything!!!! So, we waited until they passed our table and we asked them, but still they didn’t complete our request even after asking three times. I ordered soup, but they didn’t bring the spoon. I asked three times to bring the spoon!! by that time my soup got cold.

This place provides a true Nepali taste of food and drinks hands down. But they should really improve a lot on customer service. It was horrible both the times I visited this place. I can understand the waiting time for getting seated but once you are on the table your time should be respected. Locals were also complaining about the same songs being performed every time which was getting a little boring now. I’m sure they’ll address these issues so I’m still giving them a 4-star review. I hope to see a better Yak next time I’m there.

I get to eat here a lot since I work nearby. I must say the service is always awesome and they keep the place neat constantly. Prices are convenient and they serve generous portions.

Delicious food, everything had a distinct flavor. The service was super friendly and explained the dishes very well. I'd love to go back and try more things. The yak meat was interesting, and very similar to beef. We ordered a la carte, but the buffet looked really good too.

Great food! I flet like I am in Nepal; the outstanding nepali food selection and ambiance made this place standout among all other nepali place.
