What can I say - I've been enjoying this cuisine since the original location opened back in 1989 when I lived in Flushing Queens. Food is always amazing and CONSISTENT which to me is most important. I always get my food made to order and it's always amazing. The owner Omar is very friendly and helpful - especially when you have a large order or catering they are very accommodating. This place will always be my #1 go to for the best Afghan Food in NY - hands down!

We ordered chicken and lamb kebabs combo. The combo comes with salad, pita with hummus along with brown rice. Perfect amount of food for two people. Kebabs were perfectly spiced and cooked. Rice were moist and Salad were fresh. Love the food.

This (and the Queens location) has been one of my absolute favorite restaurants in NY for years. The food is always delicious, the sauces and teas impeccable, and the manager, Omar, is always so kind and hospitable. I've tried nearly everything on their menu; the combo plates are great for groups (my favorite are the lamb chops and salmon kebabs), and ending the meal with baklava and tea is just utter perfection. The only thing I wish (for all restaurants in general) is that there would be more environmentally conscious takeaway containers without styrofoam and plastic. But other than this, Kabul Kabob is a fantastic, authentic restaurant that I honestly miss whenever I leave NY.

My family were dining there, I was running late and arrived 5 minutes before closing. The owner waited for my husband and I to arrive along with that, he had fresh food for us ready to eat. He waited for us to finish eating, my family and then started taking pictures because we loved the wall decor they had. He still waited without saying a word. I would give this place a 10/10, it isn't the first time I dined here, I've been to the flushing location as well. Their food is always so delicious and fresh, the ambiance is great and the service is awesome. They are always so welcoming, patience, and attentive. I recommend this place any day.

Food was amazing. We tried the lamb and chicken combo and it tasted extremely good. The brown rice were well cooked and delicious with amazing aroma, the tahini sauce was excellent. The chef presented us with fish on the house and it was really good as well. Overall, we were glad we came by this place.
