We came here to try Surinamese dishes. Both dishes were absolutely fantastic! The Saoto Soup has a rich broth with great toppings, and the Pom was delicious with its crispy skin and tender meat. What's even better is that the owner is very passionate and shared a lot of knowledge about Surinamese food, making the dining experience even more special. Highly recommend!

Great Customer service! This was our first time having Surinamese food and Camala was very friendly and helpful! She educated us on the culture and the influences of Surinamese food. The food was also exceptional! The chicken was tender and everything was so flavorful!

This place is honestly one of my favorite spots for takeout. The food is always great quality and fresh every time. You usually wait around 15 to 20 minutes, and only on rare occasions it might take up to 30, but it’s worth it. There’s never a big crowd, maybe two or three people at most, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. It’s actually a bar and hookah lounge too, so you can sit down and eat there if you want, but even for takeout it’s perfect. I’ve ordered from here multiple times and they’ve never messed up my order once. The food is always right, always good, and the service is just as solid.

So far have tried their Combo, Bami and nasi goreng with chicken, Saoto Soup and baka bana. Highly recommended. Loved the textures and taste. Their komkomer side was terrific, could be more...dessert was Gomma koekjes...made just like mother used to. I will be back for more...My nephew who is in the Netherlands sent knp information to us in the US
