We visited Fatt Pundit 2 days after it opened, and boy, were we impressed! 👏🏽
From the food to the service, everything was lovely. Two of our favourite items were the flavourful Beef Strips and Soft Shell Crab (with battered sweetcorn? Who wouldv’e thought?! 🤤) which were both amazing. We also ordered the crispy Okra Fries, spicy Hakka Paneer and crunchy Chicken Lollipops. A special shoutout for the steaming hot Beef Momos... our first time trying Momos and it definitely won’t be our last! 👌🏽

It was my birthday last week and that normally means going out for a slap up meal somewhere nice. I've been fortunate enough to eat at many places in London that I kind of ran out place new places to go for a meal. I was close to going to sushi samba (a rare restaurant that I haven't been too) , but I ate a massive amount of sushi a few days earlier and was not feeling sushi again, plus it was a pretty crapy day outside weather wise so I decided to try something else. It was my first meal in Central London in 2020!

I was in the mood for good food rather than something fancy, so I decided on a favourite of mine @fattpundit. It had been 2 years since my last visit so thought it would a good time to go, plus it was the last day of their extended eat out help out offer

The food didn't disappoint, it was all brilliant. One of my all time favourite dishes is actually a vegetarian dish, yes, that's right a vegetarian dish called Cracking Spinach so good I ordered 2 of them. Its basically a chaat, but with deep fried spinach and sweet sauce, simple but delicious. You have to try it

I also got a portion of their legendary double cut French trimmed lamb chops. So so good. Also got pop corn cauliflower which I loved. Yep, another vegetarian dish and the chilli Panner. Also tried the rive eye dry chilli, which was also great

Total bill was under £60 Inc service and drinks, we got a £20 discount for eotho. The Wife paid! Ask for the halal menu, almost everything is halal. Just a few items that are not.

Wow. Highly recommend going and ordering everything off the menu. The flavours are sensational! Staff are very attentive and friendly. They recommend approx 3 dishes per person. A group of 7 of us went and all shared what was ordered.
Some of the dishes do have a kick to them so be warned! 🔥

Food was great for the most part. The prawns were my favourite out of the selection of dishes we tried. All dishes were flavourful and cooked perfectly. Only dish we didn’t like was the baby goat momo (the dumplings).. for the price the quantity was small and lacking in the flavour department, the sauces that came with it were nice though.

Delicious food. Very surprised by the bold flavors. The Crunchy Spinach was divine, well balanced. The Veg Chili Chicken was absolutely amazing - made me sweat in spice level! But it was so amazing! Finger licking good. Highly recommend their food.
They would’ve easily gotten 5 stars for the food.

4 stars due to seating/ambiance/service. Made a reservation through Open Table for a seated meal. Unfortunately, only given CounterTop as an option when I arrived. It was not a relaxing meal, like I was hoping for, based on my seating. The bartender was literally chipping ice and cleaning dishes in front of me. Service can definitely be improved.

The food here is great!

A few warnings though: so the place is very small so it is hard to get a table and they are also turning tables so you get 1.5 hours to eat.

We tried 7 dishes between us and they were all fantastic. The food kept on coming. The staff were attentive to us.

Delicious food. Lovely staff! Everything we ordered was great. You have to try the Crackling Spinach and Sticky Sesame Vegetable (I wish there was a meat version of this it would’ve been amazing) the portions are small but everything is filling.

A lot of our dishes are Halal including chicken, beef and lamb which are prepared and cooked separately. Alcohol is served.
