Yen burger is known for it’s asian twist on classic burgers, and boy are the burgers good! Instead of your average burger buns, Yen Burger uses Japanese Bao Buns. It was so difficult to choose off the menu as everything sounded great, but we finally ordered the Yen Burger and the Surf n Turf. The latter was the tastier of the two, but both were delicious! 100% wagyu beef patties are used which means the burger is juicy, and the delicious seasoning pulls it all together 🤤 The Chicken Gyozas were crunchy and we couldn’t get enough of the Dashi Chips! All in all, a definite recommendation!

Checked out the Wagyu Burger @yenburger. It's not often I have a burger which goes into my top list without much consideration. I tried the Yen Special which promises 100% Wagyu beef though at £12 I am suspicious. I am assured by the owners that it's 100% Chilean wagyu and their margins are thin. Believe it or not, doesn't matter. It's a top quality burger and look how nicely they cooked it. They usually have a white bun which is supposed to be much better but temporarily using this Brioche.

This was a stunning burger and easily easily the Top 5 in the UK for me. They are in the congestion charge zone but you can squeeze a visit between 10 and 11.

Taste: 9.8, Quality: 9.5, Value: 8.9

What a fantastic experience. The burgers are beyond belief good, I got the yen supreme. The turn up sauce is a hot sauce lovers dream, and pairs immaculately with their dashi chips. Veggie Gyoza has fabulous flavours and texture. Honestly, I can’t rave hard enough about this place.

Savour in COVID times. Delicious burgers quick, good veggie options. Burgers were well sized despite what I read on here and fries are generous.

I found this place on Just Eat and I thought I would give it a go.
Having looked at the menu, I thought it was on the tad expensive side, but then I was ordering through a third party.

I ordered the Wagyu burger on Yen bun. I didn't quite know what to expect. 

I've never tried Wagyu beef (but have been wanting to try for a long time) so I reservations about a Wagyu burger.

Anyway, it arrived and looked delicious, simply wrapped in thick foil, no fancy wrapping here.

I took a bite out of it and instantly noticed how tender the patty was and how soft the bun was. It was tasty but probably not well proportioned as it seems a little small.

All in all, I would probably try it again but dining in to get a proper taste.

Service on the food was fairly quick. They then gave us no warning and asked us to leave, clumsily and not nicely; as they had a "booking" that they hadn't told us about. Food was okay though not that special, though we didn't have their fanciest burger. I wouldn't come back, there are better places in the area

I went in today with a friend and we had the Yen Burgers and they were great. And the Service was great too . I will be going back in the near future for sure. Very nice spice burger and sides. Edamame delicious. Nice decor. Service a bit slow if in a rush. Would go again. Highly recommend this place
