In the midst of so many restaurants in Queens with a similar concept, Bigwell Bakery & Halal Restaurant stands a cut above the rest with a unique Caribbean flavor and taste. I sincerely believe the secret ingredient is the incredible culinary talent and passion of the owner which is felt in every speciality from the chicken curry to the absolutely sumptuous fish cakes. It was definitely worth the risk of double parking on Liberty Avenue😁😄🙃. See you soon Bigwell!!!

If I can give this restaurant 10 stars I would do so. I’ve been buying food and pastries from this restaurant since they were open. Their fried rice is perfected just like authentic guyanese Chinese. Are you looking for soft delicious cheese roll? Come here. Want a quick refreshing Mauby or peanut punch? This is the place to go to. I HIGHLY recommend the boneless jerk chicken fried rice if you’re a spicy food lover. For vegetarians; their veggie fried rice is very good. Keep up the good work to the staff and the owner ! They are very humble and patient with their customers. The owner is an outstanding, friendly person who will accommodate anyone to their best ability for any event that you may have or even just a simple dinner with the family!
