We went for a queen of hearts themes afternoon tea. We were served by the lovely Yunus who explained everything on the menu (which we requested to be halal). They removed a dessert which contained alcohol. His service was really 5*! The food was all brought out at once. The sandwiches were delicious! The chicken filling had sultanas - it was not for everyone's liking. My favourite was the smoked salmon. The heart shaped papers on the sandwiches were edible too. After we were done with the sandwiches came the best part - FRESH SCONES! We were given 2 scones per person served with clotted cream and jam; one was plain and one had raisins. I wouldn't mind if we could have 10 more of these! Moving on to the chess board; a selection of queen of hearts themed desserts. The Dark chocolate hat was my favourite, it consisted of chocolate mousse on top of a chocolate biscuit base. The strawberry pocket watch macaroon was delicious and looked so cute! The redcurrant and chocolate Battenberg was tasty but quite rich. I wasn’t a fan of the orange semolina cake. The interesting light bulb shaped dessert with a raspberry on top was a banana moelleux with raspberry cremeux dress – It was different but I wasn’t a fan, it tasted like jelly on top of mouse. We were also given a chocolate cupcake each which they placed on the Alice themed cupcake stands- they brought mine in with a candle singing happy birthday! The cupcake was a bit dry but the flavour was good. When leaving we asked if there was a private space we could use to pray, there was no official room but the lovely waiter Ashton provided us a empty room where we used our portable prayer mat. When leaving we were greeted by the lovely manager who took our compulsory group photo in the courtyard. Upon leaving we met the lady manager who was lovely I would definitely recommend this Afternoon tea!

Truly amazing stay. We stayed for 4 nights and they surprised us by upgrading to a 2 bed suite. We also ordered room service quite a few times and food was excellent. Front staffs were more than friendly , breakfast itself felt like a treat on its own. We had issues with our showers but that’s about it. Room was fantastic. Fully equipped kitchen and my baby also enjoyed the large room. Location was convenient to shop or sightseeing. Easy to find public transportation as well. Thank you for having us and will love to come back.

An absolutely lovely place to stay! It is well located and nice and close to most of the attractions of London. The rooms are fantastic with very comfortable beds, and have all the amenities you could need. The staff are also amazing and they are willing to help with anything or make suggestions for your trip. We loved this place, and would definitely stay there again!
