A Royal experience in the heart of Westminster! 👑

We dined at the Goring Dining Room for Mej’s birthday and what a beautiful experience it was 👌🏽 The service is critical to any fine dining experience, and it was definitely at a high level here.

Upon arrival we were given a full tour of the Hotel by Mohammed who was extremely friendly and helpful. He mentioned that not a lot of Muslim people visit the restaurant because they aren’t aware that halal lamb and chicken can be preordered- so do check it out guys, they are holders of a Michelin star ⭐️ and three AA Rosettes🎖🎖🎖 Now for the food- for starters we got the mushroom risotto and seafood salad, which were great. The risotto was creamy and full of flavour, while the seafood salad was a fresh burst of flavour containing little pebbles of caviar 🤩 This was accompanied by a selection of breads of which the tomato bread was our favourite.
For mains we had got the Roast Chicken and Rack of Lamb- the Roast Chicken was beautifully cooked. The rack of lamb was perfectly cooked and seasoned; it was probably the better of the two mains 👏🏽 however, we weren’t fond of the Sweetbread it was accompanied by.
For desert we got the Lemon Caramel Sponge and the the Egg Custard Tart, which were both very delicate and exquisitely presented- they were both great flavours and unique in their own way, which made them special.

Overall, a lovely dining experience with impeccable service that made it perfect for a special occasion! 🎉

The Goring Dining Room

Quite a good restaurant. Went for lunch.
The seafood salad with a quail egg had lots of fresh sweet crab meat in it with diced jelly and micro greens. Really enjoyed that.
Lamb chop was accompanied by brains fried in batter, and a piece of braced lamb belly. Salt Marsh lamb. Nice. But not excellent.
Service is polite but slow.

Always lovely service, exclusive feel. I entertain my clients here for lunch time to time, and they all have been impressed how beautiful lunch can be in this country. Book ahead to avoid disappointment, especially in  summer.

The Goring Dinning Room sat within the hotel, provides a traditionally designed, yet very welcoming atmosphere. I had the lunch menu which for £52 provides three courses and the food was excellent. I started with the cured sea bream, followed by the saddle of roe deer, finishing with the gianduja ganache and ice cream. The sea bream was light in taste, but the deer and ganache desert were excellent. I’d recommend the Goring for a corporate lunch or for a more traditional themed meal with family and friends.

Took my wife here for her birthday and it was absolutely wonderful. We had a three course offer with complimentary glass of champagne and the food, service and overall experience was phenomenal. Thanks

Certificates for Halal suppliers are available. The meats are stored separately. There is also a separate prep area at the back, with the area and utensils cleaned. The Halal chicken and lamb are cooked in a separate oven too.
