Seven Park Place by William Drabble

Honestly one of my most favourite Michelin restaurants in London. It is very discrete in a quiet location. The food is executed so well. It is no fuss, just focused on bringing out the best of the ingredients. Continues to be great. Perfect for a special occasion.  Also I have so many dietary restrictions that they took it all into consideration. Was brilliant!

If the review would be for food and service only, it would be 5 stars.

Unfortunately the restaurant has a Horrible value for most of the wine: Take 1 pay for 5. Upon arrival I pointed out 'I do not want to be ripped off on the wine' and that 'I would prefer spending £300 on a nice bottle instead of wine pairing.'

Sommelier assured that the wine pairing is a better deal and so I decided to go with it 🤦🏻‍♂️

Unless you want a taste of an 1882 vintage port (photo), it is not worth it. Not including the port the retail value is £60. Better spend £300 on a legendary bottle from the wine list and skip the port unless you are a port Fanatic. Or why not get both a bottle of white and red 2 at £150 each. That way you also will avoid running out of wine during your meal...

Last I had such a horrendous wine pairing deal was at 'Geranium' which at the moment is named the best restaurant in the world.
I paid £500 and got served wine for £100 💸

I don't give 5 stars, but this place deserves every single one. We were sat at the bar, a nice setting and atmosphere,  before our meal and had a great cocktail, very smooth and tasty. Once sat at our table we have picked the wine pairing with the 7 course meniu, the food was delicious and perfectly explained as well as the wine pairing that complemented the food. The service was absolutely excellent and without a fault, we have expressed our gratitude for a very well job done, would not believe the staff has only 3 weeks there. All of this over a 3h45min experience in a very nice and cosy environment. Highly recommend, it is worth every penny.

Absolutely perfect. The ambience was very smart and comfortable, the service and staff were elegant and attentive, and the food was just outstanding. I particularly liked the foie gras and the banana parfait - the parfait reminded of banana fritters I had as a kid. I really loved this restaurant and I will definitely come back again. One of the best experiences I ever had at all restaurants in London! The service is an outstanding with great communication and all detailed explanation of the food. The staff described with big passion and made us to feel every piece of food that chef made with love!

Unfortunately got to know only one name from the staff - Matteo, but he was rocking the evening for us and his colleagues contributed too!!!
