Shake Shack Lakeside

My husband was always raving about Shake Shake. So he took me for a treat. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The place was nice and clean. The food was delicious. The crinkled chips were lovely. The Chicken was nice and tender and the bun was soft and tasty.  The best chicken burger I've had. Will definitely be going back for a treat.

The Shake Shack is better described as alright, there Burgers are good, the chips are alright.

Unfortunately, it doesn't do compare to its counter.. Five Guys, who are opposite.

I am giving 4 Stars though, as the Ice cream floats are very nice! Though a little pricey, for ice cream in a soft drink. Still, its not hopeless, if there burgers where a little bigger and the chips thicker, and more of them, the price for it all would have been better.

What i am saying is, Go to 4 guys, for Similar money, everything is better.

Customer service is really good here. They make you feel valued and welcome, which goes a long way to making us go back again and again.

The chicken burger is fantastic, whole cut of chicken-breast , no processed rubbish or water injected chicken here. Served with thick cut pickles in a fresh bun. Prices on the high side, but you do pay for what you get. Recommended

No complaints about the Burgers and chips. It's always good. However i Think there's something wrong with your milkshake though. Didn't smell good/fresh when I had it recently.

The chicken we use in our Chicken Shack and Chicken Bites in every UK Shack is halal-certified, including our 2021 festive Black Truffle Chicken item.
