Very busy on a Saturday. Only one waiter taking orders for everyone in the cafe. Was excited to order drinks from their instagrammable drinks section but when it came I was severely disappointed. Not least because a cup of coffee was about £8. Ordered the lucky latte and it was literally a small cup of mediocre latte topped to the brim with lucky charm cereal. A friend ordered the black magic coffee (also instagrammable apparently) and it was definitely not Instagram worthy. Very disappointed in the drinks for the price it was. Have tried Kings Cross branch and prefer that one if I HAD to visit another Elan cafe. Otherwise would not recommend, spend your hard earned money for better coffee elsewhere.

Was an ok experience but not really worth money just because my friend and I were ignored for ages by staff and weren’t sure whether they had to seat us or if we were to help ourselves to a seat. When taking my order, another member of staff kept shouting over at the staff member dealing with me and he had to tell her to be quiet. The tables were very dirty and hadn’t been cleaned for a while, coffee stains and crumbs. And then when we sat downstairs and tried to charge our phones the power outlets didn’t a work. Quite disappointed in the overall experience.

Not the best Elan (Decor wise) No table service either But excellent Carrot cake

I’m sure the prices are “London standard” however, I find them a little pricey for coffee and cake. Certainly don’t get me wrong, It was exceptionally nice cake and coffee. It certainly isn’t much seating inside so be prepared to wait.

I‘ve tried the mini pancakes (Nutella ones) and I loved them! All the flavors are very creative and tasty. I’ve also tried and enjoyed the Pistachio ones! One of the best.
