Birdies is a legit little hole-in-the-wall fried chicken joint. The owner is a riot. A super friendly guy who goes out of his way to befriend customers and make genuine conversation. The chicken itself is good. The owner has made a huge effort to ensure the quality and freshness of the food is noticeable. The slaw is great, the sauce is tasty, the bun is fluffy yet holds its shape. All around solid hot chicken sandwich. I had the “hedium” spice level (between medium and hot), and it wasn’t too too spicy (though I am a self-proclaimed spice freak who eats habaneros raw). Overall, Birdies a fun, funky, down-to-earth fried chicken/chicken sando shop that everyone who likes cooked poultry should try at least once. My recommendation: Start at Blinky’s, have two drinks, and walk to Birdies for a little alcohol absorption and tasty tipsy meal.

Just moved to the area, and have been looking for my go-to spot and I think I found it. The owner was super friendly and the food was incredible. Food is fast but also does not make you feel gross. I got the signature fries and am so happy I did, tiramisu was also amazing. $13 for the signature fries is an amazing deal.

I had an amazing experience at Birdies Hot Chicken — this place absolutely delivers on flavor, quality, and vibe. From the moment I walked in, the energy was fun and casual, and the staff were warm, efficient, and clearly passionate about what they do. I ordered the Bird in a Bun with medium spice, and wow — the chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and seasoned perfectly so the heat built rather than overwhelmed. The soft brioche bun, crunchy pickles, and creamy slaw offered a great balance to the spice. Their Signature Fries — chopped chicken over fries with their special sauce — were next-level good (I could’ve eaten a whole tray!). To top it off, the shake (I went with vanilla Ferrero ) was rich, thick, and just the sweet contrast I needed. If you’re a hot chicken fan or even if you just like bold, well-made comfort food — don’t sleep on Birdies. I’ll absolutely be back. Highly recommended!

Fantastic food, I got the signature fries and they were LOADED. The medium heat level was a little more mild than I expected but the flavor was insane. The owner was great too, very friendly and wanted to make sure everything was good. Also got a strawberry shake which was delicious. Highly recommend this place of you're in the area.

I can’t stop thinking about the meal I had here. The flavors were perfect, and the presentation was beautiful. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing experience.
