Kome Express

It's not always I give away 5 stars. I have to visit a place twice before reviewing it. I am very critical, just take a look at all my past reviews!

However...

Kome Express 5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐🌟

Ordered:

- Gyoza Prawn x2
- Japenese Wings
- Banana Style Half and Half
- Round Bowl (Sweet and Sour Dpn)
- Sushi
- Passion Bubble Tea

This was a meal for 2 turned into 3.5! Their portions are very generous and well worth the money you pay for.

The wife and I enjoyed the Gyoza Prawns, fresh off the hob melts in your mouth!

Japenese wings were crispy and spicy, the flavours on the skin are just 👌🏽

Bananas style half and half you get half original style peppered fried chicken and the other half spicy. Uffff tasty.

Round Bowl is very filling, sticky rice with original kome express sweet and sour chicken.

The Sushi was the killer. The wife is the Sushi connoisseur. She loved it so much she didnt want to finish it. Half of it is left in the fridge saving it for tomorrow. She even asked me to take a close up photo so she can work out the filling! That Sushi was ram packed full of flavour and ingredients!

And of course the bubble tea - you cant fault that.

I dont believe in perfect reviews there has to be room for improvement and so here it is...

I had to travel 35 mins from Forest Gate to Dalston and back. Over an hours drive to pick up great tasting food.

Kome Express can you please move to Forest Gate or somewhere in Stratford so I dont have to travel so far!?

Delicious Japanese takeaway in Hackney Central

I had been @kome_chigwell for several times and the foods were excellent. Recently they open a new shop @komeexpresshackney in Hackney and is located only 3mins away from Hackney Central overground.

Salmon Lover Set is so cute with a heart❤️ shape box. The salmon is very fresh and full of fish oil. Spicy Tuna Roll with perfect ratio of rice to tuna for the ultimate balanced bite. Dragon Roll is a magic combination of avocado and Katsu king prawn. So delicious 😋😋😋

Crispy Duck Bun consists a great amount of duck slices and salad. The duck sauce level up the taste of bun. Chicken Katsu Don is defo the must eat item. The chicken totally covers the bowl and it’s crispy & perfectly match with the curry sauce. Love it😍😍😍

If you love bubble tea, you shouldn’t miss out their selection. I love the strong tea base with the warm & chewy boba pearls. 🥰🥰🥰

Visited there for the first time as it is halal Japanese/Korean , they have nice selection to choose from and reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and very welcoming. The service was efficiently quick. Definitely will recommend them if you need tasty food at lunch break . There is sitting area at the front but not much for room if you plan to go eat in with few friends. Appropriate to take away.

Incredibly kind staff, we had ordered something they didn't have at the time and was generously conpensated. Delicious food & it's halal! Super filling and fresh. Will definitely be coming back, thank so much :)

Loveee this place! Food is great and customer service is ace! I take my kids here often and the staff are always so friendly and welcoming! I also ordered take away today and again great food and service! Highly recommend!

Everything is halal except the following items: Beef, Chicken gyoza, Yakitori sticks, Chicken karaage. Everything else is halal.
