Ordered lamb shank and pasta linguine with white mushroom sauce. It was delicious and the salad and mashed potato that came with it were great. The service was excellent and the price was the best of all. We had 4 adult meals plus one kids meal for under £50. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Don’t understand what the fuss is about. Only thing I enjoyed was the bread and hummus. Chicken tasted off, the shoulder was full of fat and tasteless and the rice tasted like it was put in the microwave! Never going back

Badly designed space, it needs a lot of work. The staff are polite and hardworking but the conditions of the place needs improvement. Food is also good but only for takeaway.

Lovely service, polite and smiling waiting staff. Willing to help. Food hot and adequate portions . Clean and welcoming. My first visit and will definitely come again.  Recommend the timir (date cake), absolutely delicious.  Thank you for a lovely experience

First time visiting this restaurant and was impressed with the service, quality and taste of the food. Had the lamb shoulder which was cooked perfectly, with the meat just falling off the bone. The veg accompanying the meat was nicely done. Rice was done perfectly, and tasted great. Spice level was really mild, but they provided a chilli chutney/sauce which gave the dish a nice kick. Overall, glad I went and would definitely return in future.

Great food, great service, great value. Would recommend if you're looking for a big meaty cheap eat somewhere low-key. Clearly a popular spot for Somalians too which I took as a good sign.
I went for the lamb which came with an enormous plate of rice, veggies and sauce - plus a salad and three bananas on the side ;) all of which (plus a drink) came to 10 quid. Everything came more or less immediately. The lamb joint was very tender and the rice and veggies were delicious and well-seasoned. Somewhat spicy on its own and comes with more chilli sauce on the side if you're a spice fiend like me. The waiter was an absolute legend - he offered to put my leftover rice in a takeaway box, then added a load of rice and veg for me to have the next day! I'll definitely be going back.

Excellent food so yummilicious staff were very good I have been so many times only to eat at the restaurant and I live quite far from this place.

Just superb, food wise I suggest Zigny (the name sounded like this check with the waiter if you wanna try it it's made with lamb meat 
..... and make sure you pick some veg in your order to balance things out.

The restaurant is easy to reach and to spot. 
Very nice atmosphere, the place is quite small and I would recommend to reserve your table. The service was friendly and we received a very warm welcome. Even if it is your first time at an Eritrean restaurant, they will suggest you were to start from. They have 6 tasting menus so for you to try a bit more. Reasonable prices, would definitely recommend a visit!! 5 stars!

This is on the top of our list - the flavors and smell of the food can transport you to Eritrea. It's a feast of flavors and spices. We've been here many times and it doesn't disappoint. The service, ambience, food portions are great. Tip: dishes are eaten by hands. Request for utensils of you want.
