The price is good here and no service charge which is rare now in London. We tried the chicken with potato / Lamb hoof and we liked the chicken better. The chicken is tender with good flavour, although I think the taste of star anise is a bit strong. We don’t really like the lamb hoof that much as it has a certain strong smell/taste which is a bit overwhelming…

Interesting place. Had the traditional tea, noodles, soups, lamb skewers, mung bean, the medium chicken dish etc. The waiter seemed alarmed when I smiled at him. He forgot about three items we ordered but gave us free rice pudding without asking. The other diners seemed like regulars, I certainly want to come again. Cosy, flavoured, not too spicy food, with a decent portion size for this day and age. An excellent meal.

It's been a long wait to eat here & I was not disappointed. Having lived in Urumqi for over 4 years I can confirm the food is authentic tasting Xinjiang cuisine. I had the polo, rice had great flavour with loads of carrot, a delicious side salad, & accompanied with 2 lamb kebabs, generously seasoned with cumin/chilli, & washed down with complimentary Xinjiang tea. I will definitely be back on my next visit to London 👍

Pre order the lamb! Such a must-try! Also, make sure to make reservations! This place gets booked up fast!

Wonderful to be greeted in Mandarin first, English second. The servers are kind and knowledgeable, expect East Asian service so don't feel shy calling them over - that's normal for the culture. Stew dishes are massive my order was enough for 5 people! One dish between two is more than enough. If you want to try something authentic, this is the place!

what a colorful display of western china (uyghur) dishes. particularly enjoyed the braised aubergine, the chicken bao, and the hand pulled noodles. service was welcoming. on a Saturday lunchtime, it got busy very quickly, so better call ahead to secure a table

The food was absolutely superb. The flavours were very unique and different to any other Chinese cuisine I've tried. I'd definitely recommend the lamb it was slow cooked to perfection and the flavours were so intense! I normally try not to go for spicy food but found it was all balanced out in the flavours so the heat wasn't too much.
Beside the food the waitresses were all very friendly and happy to talk us through the menu.

One thing I would say is that we didn't have a reservation however were lucky to get a table as the restaurant was full. This was on a Tuesday night at about 7.30. The waitress said booking could be done online using a link/ QR code. Could you please put the link to reservations on this page (Google maps)? I'll definitely be back! 😊

Having lived in China for almost a decade, and been in London for 5 years, I've missed Uyghur cuisine. Needless to say, I'm absolutely delighted to have been introduced to this place by a friend. The portions were generous, and the chicken with "naan" was an off the menu item and a must have. Reservation is a must as its a smaller restaurant and fill up quickly. The owners came out to greet us and they're really lovely too. Will definitely be back for authentic Uyghur cuisine.

Love this place! Am really looking forward to the next time I go back. I'd never eaten Uyghur food before this and the flavours and textures blew me away.

The woman who took our order was also helpful in suggesting recommendations, although, we had to ask for water multiple times.

I noticed they were quite busy with delivery and at the time of visiting there weren't many people inside the restaurant but the inside is very spacious nonetheless.

Overall, it was a nice experience. The food was warming and satisfying and perfect for the rainy day that it was. Definitely recommend and would love to go back again and again.

I cannot speak highly enough of this place! The food is excellent and the staff are friendly, open, and very skilled - watching them hand make the noodles in the front is a real show! A hidden gem and the best place to eat in Finsbury Park hands down.

I travelled from Birmingham to London just for this restaurant! I come from northwest part of China and it is actually hard for me to find home food in the UK. So I was so excited after find Dilara Uyghur restaurant in Google map, you can't imagine how moved I was when eating all the food from that restaurant 😭. I'm so sorry but I'm tired of people talking about Cantonese food as Chinese food, that's not my food. I found my home in your restaurant! Dilara! I will definitely highly recommend all my friend to try this restaurant!

Really nice restaurant, far nicer than you would expect from the road. I would definitely recommend the last option in the vegetarian section (the one with the huge noodles) or its beef counterpart.

Love the food is amazing and it’s really fresh the staff are also really friendly, the toilet definitely looks like a 5 star ⭐️. I definitely recommend coming here to eat and I’m definitely coming back!

Etles Uyghur Restaurant

This is a charming, authentic (seemingly) restaurant, with smiling staff and friendly service. The food was interesting, a curious mix of Chinese and Middle Eastern. And the traditional milk tea with salt was absolutely wonderful.

What a delightful discovery! We parked for another restaurant, but it was closed at that time on a Sunday afternoon. We were warmly welcomed in here. It was exquisitely decorated with authentic artefacts. The food was lovely. One of the best soups I have ever tasted. The lamb polo was different from food of the similar name in Iranian restaurants. The noodles were much thicker and yummier than you get in a Chinese restaurant, the big chicken pastie looked like an over sized gyozo and my husband loved  it. The young waitress is very multilingual and flips quickly between mandarin, English and her own language.
Try this place! Definitely different! We look forward to returning.

Although it was recently opened, the staff are friendly and the ambiance is lovely. It is a great place to get a full course meal and taste a very different cuisine, but also is great for teas, coffees and cakes. I would highly recommend this. The restaurant is only a few bus stops away from the nearest station

We went in on a Saturday evening. Restaurant was reasonably busy but we were seated without hesitation.

The restaurant was very clean. The staff were attentive and friendly.

We ordered a variety of starters and mains. All of them were tasty. The food was all halaal.

Some of the dishes were a little bit cold and there was a long wait. The starters (kebabs) arrived after the mains. Otherwise a five star!
