The food was amazing.
The chicken was cooked well. Juicy & succulent inside, not dry at all. Grilled to perfection.
I love the chicken liver that just melts in the mouth.
Also tried the new Pimenta sauce, mild flavour with peri peri, pink peppercorn & sumac.

Love the peri peri sauces on the side with garlic bread & fries.

It was a great treat and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
The place was buzzing on Sunday night and we were able to get the table. The staff was very hospitable and friendly.

Team are friendly at this branch, but downside is you get cold chips and dry chicken. Cheeky to give chips that are cold and not fried fresh, ruins the meal as you got to wait for a fresh batch of chips when it should have been served fresh in the first place so you can have everything together. The chicken is also over cooked slightly making it dry and not enjoyable to eat. So overall, staff are great, but find it cheeky that they don’t serve freshly fried chips to try and save money - a result of this is a poor experience for the paying customer!

Updated review - after trying this Nando’s again, I can say there’s a huge improvement. Manager Grant is an actual legend, a real asset to Nando’s. Very friendly with a great sense of humour. Quick waiting times and super fresh food. I would say the wings were slightly on the overcooked side, but with Grant’s super friendly customer service, my previous review of a low rating can definitely be upgraded to a happy 5 stars!!

Had a very bad experience here today. It took 45mins to get a table which I can accept. But it was only when they sat us they informed us there was no chicken on the bone! Absolutely ridiculous. Then when the food did come, the wings were very dry and they gave us half a portion of Hummus (photo proof below) Very disappointing. Not what I expect from nandos.

Struggled to settle in and enjoy the Sunday meal our family came into the Balham branch for due to the Terribly  Appalling Attitude displayed by Branch Manager ‘Elizabeth’ who was serving us at the front desk. She was impatient with us and was very rude while taking our order. Thankfully, there are other members of the team who endeavour to provide great customer service. The food is nice, however the terrible customer service has deterred us from returning.

The chicken was good but the service was pretty bad. The staff didn’t greet customers at the door or seat them, they weren’t taking orders on the till only via a QR code and half of the tables were covered with dirty plates which didn’t get cleaned up.

We have 385 restaurants, 72 of which serve only Halal chicken and are signposted both in the restaurant and online. A small proportion of chicken sold in our other restaurants may also be Halal.

What are you really craving right now? For me it’s a meal from @thesmokedaddies ~ like their “Gr8 Gatsby”... which is definitely GR8... sub roll filled with 10z of Argentinian strip loin... and lots of other good stuff like their homemade sauce 👌🏽
Based in Balham, 100% Halal, no alcohol served. They’ve also refurbished and now have lots of indoor seating too!

By far best smoked meats in this side of London. Amazing food, big portions, great value for money and friendly service. Not much else you could as for.

These guys put their heart n soul in the food , that’s what makes it so incredibly and exceptionally tasteful. Ribs and sandwiches are culinary delight , mouth watering burgers , chips are heavenly . We are weekend regular indulgers , no matter how hard we try can’t escape from the wholesome meaty , chunky n mouthwatering meals .

There was a need. These guys absolutely nailed it! The Gatsby burger and the beef ribs were done to perfection. The rosemary on the fries is also a nice touch!

Everything is 100% halal. And we don’t serve any alcohol either.

When you book a table in advance for an anniversary, you really expect to have a wonderful evening ahead of you. However, this was not the case, due to some of the worst service I have ever experienced.

We arrived for our table booking at 8.15pm, and were given a table for 2 outside. After sitting for 15 minutes we received our menus. Another 25 minutes passed and we still had not had our order taken. After requesting to order multiple times, the manager had finally taken our order, even though he still asked us to wait an extra 10 minutes because they were so 'busy'. It's quite simple really, don't keep letting customers in if you can't handle the customers that are already waiting to be served in the restaurant. 

Another 30 minutes passed and we just got up and left because if you can't even get a 7UP out of the fridge and put it on our table then God knows if the food will ever show up!

This could have all been avoided with a bit of customer interaction, explaining what was happening and updating us. However, even though he looked over at us several times, he still did not even speak a word to us about what was going on. 

Luckily we saved our special day by going round the corner to 'Indian Room' restaurant which was fantastic and they served us within 10 minutes even though they were very full. This is how to run a restaurant- it might be worth the manager of Libano checking this place out for some tips and advice in the future.

This is a must try place. We were looked after by Riba and the service was excellent. She is lovely and made us feel so welcome. The food is cooked to perfection. We have ordered the set menu for two and it was a great choice. We will be back for sure

New restaurant in Balham. Very very pleasantly surprised by just how good and original the food was. You can really tell everything was cooked fresh and with passion. I had no idea Hummus could taste that good... Chef is very passionate and describes himself as a specialist in flavour and I very much believe him!

Visited Libano for the first time based off a friend's recommendation, and was not disappointed!! The restaurant itself is lovely and the staff and owners were so lovely! The food was delicious and reasonably priced, specially the lamb on the mixed grill... must try! 

Its a great restaurant.. with the added bonus of BYOB :)

Healthy & tasty food in a beautiful setting! Our group of 5 went for Sunday brunch, sat in the conservatory at the back and ordered our heart out - food took a while to arrive, but wasn't surprising since the restaurant was full and buzzing. The Turkish feast for 2 was filling and a well rounded meal. The Cheese fondue which was part of it was an exception and its consistency was off. Grilled spicy chicken, Megan's brunch, Mezza bowl were all decent. Would recommend to visit here or one of their other outlets!

Food was nice with good flavours but wasn’t a fan of the cheese fondue with brunch. Restaurant was well decorated and had plenty of seating. Felt that the service was good on arrival but had to ask for water 3 times until we got it and the same for the card machine for payment.

Very pretty place in the heart of Balham. We were served by Yunita who was super friendly and accommodating to all our requests. I booked a table an hour before and it was a quick easy process. Only the chicken is halal. I had a Turkish breakfast and my parents had the grill salmon which was really nice. We sat at the back of the restaurant which was like a green house. Beautiful exterior but rather warm as the ceiling is just glass windows and the sun shine straight onto us. Nice vibe, would definitely recommend.

Lovely decor, good service and the food was delicious. We ordered the Megan’s Brunch, the Shakahoumi baked eggs and the calamari. The smoothies were also light but filling!

Cute and cozy setting and great Mediterranean food! We shared the Turkish brunch feast and it was fantastic! Loved the harissa hummus which was spicier then we thought! Make sure to book it ahead of time as it was full the first time we tried to go and they didn't accept walk ins. ( It did look super busy that day, so unsure if it's like that all the time.)

Delicious! Wonderful service, great food in generous portions, very well managed. Photo is 3 mains and 2 sides.

Had a fantastic meal here when the restaurant reopened after lockdown. The social distancing with teddy bears was very clever and helped to create a relaxed atmosphere which isn’t always easy these days. Food was really tasty and good portion sizes for the price. Thanks for having us!

Lovely food. Great atmosphere. Would suggest sharing lamb shoulder between 3 rather than 2 as it is enormous.

Regular customer here. Food is always good. Ambience is great with nice decor. Every now and again I bring my wife with me for an evening out she loves it here. It's never a let down really but for some reason recently it's just been top notch. Big appreciation to Ibrahim (hope I spelt your name right mate!) Every time we are served by him his hospitality is always on top of everything! And that's one of the reasons for always returning. Customer service is ace mate! Cheers!

What a cracking and lively place! The décor, the dim lights and the music gave this place such an authentic vibe! I would say it’s more on the expensive side but the quality of the food is fantastic! Its bring your own booze (I imagine with a corkage fee) which is always good. I had a lamb tagine, pita and hummus and my partner had a set menu with four courses. We were very pleased with this place and have told our friends as it’s a great social setting.
