The food is great. We tried the Fully Loaded Platter with naga chips and buffalo wings. The wings felt too salty for me. But loved the rest. Cheaper price. Decoration is good and colourful. But the temperature is bit warm inside.

The customer service from Muhammad was excellent. My wife, daughter and I had a great fast food meal here and the portions are a good size. I really enjoyed the  burgers, and barbecued two joint chicken wings. The grilled food is the star.

I tried the Fully Loaded Platter at Phat Bite, which includes lamb doner, two mango-flavoured wings, a smash burger, masala fries, salad, and a drink. The platter offers good variety, and the lamb doner was nicely seasoned. The mango wings had a unique flavour but could have been a bit juicier. The smash burger was decent but nothing extraordinary. Masala fries were tasty, adding a nice twist to the meal. Overall, it's a filling option, but the food could use a bit more attention to detail, especially considering the price. Not bad for a quick bite, but there’s room for improvement.

Came here for the first time, service was good and cleanliness not an issue. We got the mixed platter for £14.99 lamb and chicken.

Personally lamb was better chicken was a bit tough but had flavour, wings and burger was really good and Masala fries was nice however was very spicy bear in mind.

Would definitely come here again.

The place has just opened up so I don't think it's fair to officially review the food. This place is good if you are fan of Sahara Grill and those type of places. Family friendly. No alcohol. All Halal and they have a lovely prayer room.

Great Food and Wonderful Service!
I recently visited Manjaros on Ilford Lane after a friend recommended it, and it definitely lived up to the hype! My friend and I went there for lunch, and from the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the cosy yet spacious atmosphere. The lighting and décor are modern and welcoming, giving the place a very comfortable vibe.

The menu has an excellent variety of options for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians, which is always a plus. We started off with drinks,a Pina Colada and Fruit Punch, both refreshing and nicely presented. For starters, we ordered Loaded Fries, which were spicy with just the right kick.

For the mains, I had a Vegetarian Pizza (fresh and flavorful!), and my friend ordered a mixed meal that came with chips, rice, pita bread, salad, skewers, and sauce, an impressive platter and great value for money.

Everything was served hot and neatly presented. The portion sizes were generous, and the restaurant was clean and well-maintained. Our server was polite, attentive, and very helpful, making the overall experience even better.

Price-wise, it’s very economical considering the quality and quantity of food. We left feeling happy, full, and eager to return.

Highly recommend Manjaros if you’re looking for great food, friendly service, and a relaxed dining experience on Ilford Lane!

An excellent and pleasantly surprising experience. We decided to pop in on a busy night and the restaurant seemed appealing. The waiter greeted us and sat us at a good location within the spacious restaurant. The food was delicious and full of flavour. The pepperoni pizza ordered for the kids was well received.
Prayer space and separate washrooms for men and women available.
Payment in store is closed at 10pm so had to place the order and make payment online while seated at the table. The process was quick and food was brought to the table relatively quickly. Prices are decent. Recommended.

We were at Manjaros Ilford last night for my husband’s birthday. The staff is really good - Mohammad helped us ordering and also was very polite and helpful. Also there was another girl who cleared our table (sorry i forgot the name) lovely girl and very polite. Obviously was was amazing as always. They have changed their system to online payment only which was easy and reciept also came on my email address

Exceeded my expectations as per usual. Delicious food, amazing service.. it is our favourite place to eat. The ambience is so welcoming and I love their setup that caters for everything from a stand alone sink in the middle of restaurant to a beautiful little prayer room with wudhu facility. The staff is always very friendly. One tip though: please change ur kids colouring sheets. They have been the same ever since my boys were babies like 7yrs ago 😂.

I’ve been to Manjaros in Ilford with my family quite a few times, and I must say they have never disappointed me. The flavours are always consistent, the staff are always friendly and helpful. The quality of the food is really good, bursting with flavour. The prices are also fairly reasonable. Over all I can’t really fault them. I will defo be visiting again.

Ordered online. Worst food i have ever ordered. Had tin foil pieces and the rice was burnt. Its like they sent us the bottom of the pot. The chicken was tasteless and absolutely dry. Never again. I am just thankful me and my children didnt get food poisoning. Never ordering from here again and advising everyone i know not to either.

I'm from Hyderabad, India – the home of the best biryani – and I have to say, The Biryani Guys in Ilford seriously impressed me. Their Karachi-style biryani is packed with flavour, perfectly spiced, and gives real competition to authentic Hyderabadi biryani. A must-try for any true biryani lover!

Positive: chicken malai boti paratha roll was full of flavours . Biriyani had many pieces of meat than expected.
Negative: The lamb biryani was very spicy . Unfortunately the portion size for the price is very less.

Ordered lunch via UberEats. One of the meals was the masala lamb chops. Described as "Portion of 5. With a choice of fries or butter and corriander rice". So the first issue was there were only 4 chops one of which was more bone than meat. The second and bigger issue was the chops were burned to a crisp and rock hard all the way through. Inedible and clearly not made to order. Selling old stale food as new. DISGUSTING!!!

Amazing food - Karachi style food - have not ordered desi food from any other restaurant since I have found this gem of a place - portion size could be a little bit better but food taste is amazing - portion sizes are small - but every person who loves desi food should definitely order the paratha roll - it fills up your stomach but not your heart

Fresh and fast noodles with lots of options

I order a large box meal: egg friend rice and noodles with sweet and sour chicken and crispy chicken for the meat options. For sides I ordered some spring rolls and salt and pepper wings.

On receiving my order I thought it was going to be good 😩😩

The rice and noodles had no taste, lack flavour/ bland and disgusting tbh.
The sweet and sour chicken was definitely not sweet and sour the red sauce ran everywhere and wasn’t appealing at all.

The crispy chicken was passable.

The only thing I enjoyed were the salt and pepper wings and spring rolls which Ill give 5/10.

Avoid eating here as they do not clean their chicken properly. I purchased wings on uber eats and when they arrived the wings were not cleaned and still had bits sticking out of them. They seasoned and cooked the wings but still could not see that there are bits that are still attached to the wing. This is shows that the employees and employer does not care for hygiene and do not care for customers safety.

I ordered home delivery for the first time from this restaurant. The crispy chicken was crispy and tasty too.  Spicy chips were hot too. I found prices reasonable when compared to the quantity. The packaging was very decent.
It's worth giving a try.

I recently visited Oodles, known for its Singaporean and Malaysian style noodle and rice-based fast food. I tried the egg fried rice, Schezuan rice, chili chicken, and teriyaki chicken.

The staff were polite and the restaurant had a nice ambiance. However, I found that the flavors of all the dishes were surprisingly similar and not particularly tasty. Given the high prices, this was quite disappointing.

Overall, my experience was just okay. While the service was decent, the food didn't live up to expectations and wasn't worth the cost.

We are HMC approved. This means our entire menu and supply-chain is certified Halal according to HMC standards. No traces of pork or alcohol in the store.

KFC Ilford - High Road

Food was okay but fry portion was too small. Food was little warm. Expected to be much more hot. The food was not fresh as well. We ordered Dirty Louisiana , 1 bucket of 10 wings and loaded fries. It was busy but the tables were dirty and there was no attendant or stuff to clean them. There was only one disable toilet but that was also out of order. The manager was rude to the customers . Overall , I would not recommend anyone to go there . Try to avoid KFC Illford

Salman delivered outstanding service during my visit to KFC Ilford High Road yesterday. From the moment I approached the counter, he greeted me with genuine warmth and professionalism, instantly making the experience feel more personal and welcoming. His communication was clear, friendly, and patient, which made ordering feel effortless even during a busy time.

What really stood out was the pride he took in his role. Salman made sure my order was prepared correctly and handled everything with care and efficiency. He checked everything before handing it over, and his attention to detail showed that he genuinely cared about customer satisfaction. It’s rare to meet someone who balances speed with quality so perfectly.

Overall, Salman transformed an ordinary fast-food visit into a genuinely pleasant experience. His positive attitude, respect, and customer-first mindset make him a great asset to the store. Extremely disappointed with my recent KFC Ilford order on 10/06/2025 — the chicken was dry, bland, had a bad smell, and lacked the usual KFC flavour. As a long-time customer, I expected much better quality. This was the worst meal I’ve had from this brand.
Not recommended.

I visited this store to ask a few info  but the experience was very disappointing. When we approached the counter, the restaurant manager abdur was on a phone call on the floor and didn’t acknowledge us at all—not even a quick “I’ll be right with you.” We waited, expecting at least some basic courtesy, but he continued his call without offering any help or even making eye contact.when we are trying to ask him to call the team lead or manager then he responded im the manager wait for 2 minutes in a very rude way ,He suddenly went back to talk with some other guy who came from outside . Then he returned back saying yes what do you want? He’s to arrogant ,even he being in a manager position not able to give response .
It felt unprofessional and disrespectful, especially since we were there genuinely trying to get information. Customer service is a big part of any business, and this experience fell far below expectations.
I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves communication and professionalism moving forward. Thank you

A verse is also recited from the Quran at the point of slaughter by an appropriate person and the poultry will not come into contact with non-halal meat at any point in the supply chain. KFC only buys high quality, Grade A, farm-assured chicken from trustworthy suppliers, and this will not change.

Haute Dolci

We had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The service was excellent, especially from the staff member who served us — Sangam. He was incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive, which made our visit even more enjoyable. 10/10 for his service.
The venue itself looks like a 5-star hotel — very posh, elegant, and well-presented, which really adds to the overall experience.
We ordered the Christmas menu (£22 per person, including a 2-course meal and a drink), which was very reasonable and good value for money. A lovely touch was choosing a reward card at the end — my friend received 20% off for her next visit, and I got a free dessert, which was a great surprise.
I really enjoyed being there and will definitely visit again, next time with my children. I’ll then give a more detailed review of the food. Overall, a wonderful experience.

We visited this dessert place for my son’s birthday and had waffles and crepes — everything was absolutely delicious! We had a wonderful experience from start to finish. A special shout-out to Rayyan, who provided outstanding service. She served us with a warm smile, was smartly presented, and was truly excellent in her manner and professionalism. Food and ambience was excellent. Ordered from their lunch menu. Burgers were fresh and tasty and pasta was good. Service and waiters could do better. We had to wait and find someone to provide cutlery or some adjustment to food. Otherwise restaurant was clean, washroom were very clean as well. Overall good experience.

I had a lovely time at Haute Dolci – the desserts were beautifully presented and tasted amazing. I tried the strawberry mocktail, waffles with melted chocolate and strawberries, and some ice cream on the side. Everything looked elegant and was full of flavour, especially the chocolate which was rich and smooth.

The atmosphere is stylish and modern, making it a nice place to relax and enjoy dessert. Service was decent, though it could have been a little quicker. Overall, a great spot for anyone with a sweet tooth – definitely worth visiting if you want a luxury dessert experience.

She also made sure we got the best spot in the place to enjoy the celebration. The ambiance is incredibly peaceful and elegant—perfect for relaxing and making memories. We only tried the desserts and coffee, but they were absolutely delicious—the highlight of our visit!

They also serve halal burgers (both veg and non-veg), along with a wide variety of shakes, coffees, and other tempting treats on the menu. Everything looked so luscious, we’ll definitely be coming back to try more.

We haven't come for a while, we went walking  in the park and worked up a small appetite, food was good but it took them very long time to serve and even the tea and kunafa took long time. Considering it was not their usual busy time, I was disappointed with the long waiting.  On previous occasions we did not have to wait so long.  Would not recommend if your looking for fast service but if you have time.on your hand, and your going out for the evening, then its okay.

Food was tasty, their salad is always 10/10 and gets demolished.

Really good, fresh food with lots of great choices. The staff are super friendly and clearly know their food. The lamb shawarma is honestly one of the best I’ve had—made with real chunks of meat instead of the usual processed kind. Portions are generous and the presentation is nice too. The bread with hummus and cucumber yogurt is delicious, and it’s a pleasant surprise that it’s complimentary, along with the lovely Turkish tea. On-street parking is available nearby, though it costs £8 during the daytime. Definitely worth coming back.the best thing is it has a prayer room with ablution facility ❤️

Went to Sultan for family dinner on a friday eve, resturant was packed with guests but had a table booked so didnt have to wait long. Ordered a platter which was for 6-7 people and was probably just enough.. their bread for starters is just delicious. Loved the calamari, lamachun and their yougurt sauce. Ribs 5/5, lamb sheesh 5/5, chicken sheesh and Wings 4/5, kebabs were 3.5/5 but chops were slightly let down, probably 2/5. Overall food was very delicious and cant really complain.
One downside was their music at resturant was really loud, and had a speaker right on the top of my head which was busting with Hard Rock Turkish songs, which after a while gave me headache. Asked employees 3 times to lower down the volume, which they would, but next minute some one walks past the stereo and puts in on loud again.
Overall, i enjoyed my food, prices were decent for the quality and amount of food you get. Will vidit again.

Went to sultan after a few years as I usually go down to north London. But I have to say this will be my go to spot food was brilliant. Crispy toasted and season bread with very well cooked meat. Highly recommend this place

Visiting from North America, was delighted to dine at this highly recommended restaurant. The meat was extremely flavorful and the sides were impeccable. The fresh baklava was also one of the best i have had. Above all, was very impressed by the service. We had a guest with allergies and the staff was extremely knowledgeable and exercised great care to serve us. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting.

Wazir Restaurant

I came to Wazir Restaurant for the Qawwali session that took place. I came with family to facilitate for them a cultural heritage experience.

The qawwali was excellent, floor seating for all and most importantly the restaurant has its own carpark in the back, on Mansfield road. You can drive around and park up.

Visited Wazir recently and was impressed by their food. Their food is a mix of Persian and Turkish contrary to some of the other reviews on here.

We opted for the special mixed grill and another one of the mixed grill options and they food came out on time and hot and fresh. Their fresh bread and chilli sauce was amazing, and they offer fresh Turkish tea at the end of the meal.

The interior is basic but practical, delivering on what a restaurant is intended to provided. Great atmosphere with lots of customers and the staff were friendly and attentive. There is a shisha area in the back of the establishment and free car parkinf for customers.

Just take note, there is a special service charge of 10% added to the bill but it is highlighted befode you sit down so no surprises.

The food is delicious but they are lacking badly on customer service. I would have definitely given 5 stars but they are short of staff, the poor girl was struggling alone to serve us and everybody.

Nice resturant, nice staff, but if u eat Iraqi or Turkish grills, you will know that it is not up to the level, I belive its the meat issue, its chewy 🫥

Overall, it was a good experience. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which made the service enjoyable. The music was a bit too loud at times, but otherwise the atmosphere was pleasant. The food was good, although it did not fully meet expectations for charcoal-grilled meat, as advertised on the restaurant’s facade. Prices are affordable compared to restaurants in central London. I would recommend this place for a casual dining experience.

Best brown sugar been a regular for years now, always consistent, and such a friendly environment. The owner and staff make you feel right at home, and family friendly. I’ve had almost everything on the menu I’m not a fruit type of person so I still with the sweet juices which matches my taste buds perfectly. If I could give a 7 out of 5 star review I would, highly recommend !!!

You have to buy the topping separately otherwise they are giving you only water drink. I ordered because of the misguided picture which shows this milk tea comes with popping bubbles and when i received there was no popping bubbles and the horrible part of this bubble tea was the taste. When i tried this bubble tea. It was like water and the taste was incredibly bad. It was not even sweet. I hate to waste food but the taste was horrible and i don't want to be sick that's why i have to waste this. I am helping other customers. Please don't buy. The shop looks nice and this is how they are destroying customer's money. What a shame

Ordered the Mango Milk Tea + Mochi and Lychee Popping Pearls for under £7.00.

The fruit flavour paired with the tea wasn't my favourite. However, the customisation options were easy to understand, my drink was made quickly and professionally with friendly staff. I hope to visit again to try a different flavour.

Sahara Grill

I went with my entire family. Food was so flavourful and amazing. I asked for the lamb chops to be medium and they were exactly that. So juicy and tender. Creamy mash was on point (not like other restaurants who advertise it as 'creamy' and never deliver). The chef on the grill yusuf did an amazing job and my 1 year old son really loved his personality. I will definitely be coming back.

We had a lovely meal at Sahara Grill in Gants Hill. The food was delicious and served quickly, so we didn’t have to wait long. Fahim provided excellent service and made us feel welcome. We ordered the Sahara steak cooked medium rare — it was tender and a real delight. My son loved it! I also enjoyed the half chicken, which was full of flavour. My other son really liked the buffalo wings. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely visit again.

I went to Sahara Grill with the family for a birthday celebration. We started with buffalo wings, dynamite prawns, and prawn croquettes. As ever, the wings were top tier with the sauce tangy and spicy. The prawns were also good but came a distant second to the chicken. For mains we had a selection of burgers grill chicken chicken steak and saute beef. I would say all items were good, the saute in particular was tasty, with the other items also hitting the mark. Overall i would definitely recommend and go back again

Absolutely loved our experience at Sahara Grill Ilford. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the staff l, who were genuinely friendly, attentive, and always happy to help with recommendations.

But hands down, the standout dishes for us were the lamb chops and lamb shank; both cooked to perfection. The lamb chops were juicy, tender, and packed with flavour, and the lamb shank was fall-off-the-bone soft and richly spiced. You can tell they’ve really mastered their grills.

Service was quick and well organised, even during busy hours, and the food arrived fresh and hot. The portion sizes were generous, and everything we tried was full of flavour.

Had a great experience at Sahara Grill and wanted to give special mention to Abdur Rahman, who served us. He was very professional and, for a trainee, did an excellent job.

He was attentive in a calm, subtle way, checking in on us during the meal and making sure we were comfortable without interrupting the experience. Little thoughtful touches showed his awareness and good service, which really helped us feel relaxed.

Food-wise, everything was enjoyable, but the Angus short rib was a standout – absolutely a hit and easily the highlight of the meal.

Overall, a very positive experience. Credit to Abdur Rahman and the team.

We discovered Afrikana as its on our local takeout list.

The food is always always top notch.

So we decided to celebrate a birthday at Afrikana, we had to book by email as we were a larger party (7 people). We then turned up early to boot. But everyone was welcoming and our table was ready for us immediately.

We ordered the ‘meat again’ as a shared plate, the ‘just kebabin’ with lamb and ‘we goat your back’ which is a family favourite and so delicious. We also ordered the loaded mac n cheese for the pasta freak in the group (who was also the birthday person). And extra plantain because I love plantain, and hummus which was served with the softest most delicious pita. We also had pretty much one of every mocktail, they were all delicious.

The atmosphere in the restaurant was not too loud, so we could hear eachother and talk comfortably, the food was fresh and tasty. We ate till we almost popped. Shout out for the desserts, we had one of each of those too. They were all a taste sensation.

Special thanks to the amazing wait staff, who were friendly and welcoming and couldn’t do enough, even tho we turned up early with a massive party (really sorry about that).

The food was amazing atmosphere was lovely, and all at a very reasonable price. If you’re celebrating or want to eat out somewhere that makes delicious food this is the place for you. Special mention for the Afrikana fries, if you like slightly hot piquant sauce this ones for you

Exceptional service. Our hostess Fatima was very kind, friendly and helpful. She offered choices, recommended sides and other things. We ordered We meat again platters with Afrikaana sauce and few drinks. We were served deep fried crispy okra with mango chutney as appetizer. Food took some time to come. The chicken was moist and very flavorful. So were lamp chops, prawns and meat. The drinks were chilled and yummy. The manager on duty/owner was also very kind. All in all great experience and great Halal spot in Ilford, London. Keep up the good work!!!

The service here is phenomenal (particularly Fatima!) straight onto a table, food within 10 mins. The drinks were nice, sweet (non alcoholic) but not sickly. Be aware - food is spicy, but in a good way. Will come again for the fried chicken.

Afrikana has been on my list for a while and I am glad I have finally been able to visit. I had the Knockout Box which is chicken breast served over jollof rice and topped with spring onions. The Afrikana sauce was the perfect combination of sweet and spicy and I would highly recommend. My sister had the We Goat Your Back which is a slow cooked Mutton curry served with rice with beans and plantain. She said the lamb was extremely tender and also enjoyed her meal. I was a bit skeptical whether Afrikana is another of the social media hype, but this was not the case. The food was delicious and I would definitely return to try their other dishes.

Exceptional customer service by Suman and Meriam at Haveli, Ilford. From the moment we arrived, they were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Their professionalism, patience, and friendly nature made our experience truly memorable. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. A real credit to Haveli — thank you both for such outstanding service.

We had a family meal today for dad’s birthday, party of 6 adults one child. The food was really good, one point knocked off for a few of the dishes being so spicy -  and perhaps we should have said could we have mild spice when placing the order - but generally everything was flavorful and the food was of good quality! Portions were big too!!

The service was amazing, Ali and the rest of the staff really were attentive and went above and beyond especially as there are no reservations and being a big group we called ahead and we were seated immediately on arrival. We would go back, but will just ask that they hold back on making every dish so hot next time 🥵

Our Pakistani friend took us to Haweli restaurant in Ilford for dinner. We had lamb and chicken curry, lamb biryani, various kebabs, it was delicious, and our first time having Pakistani food, we all loved it.
Sumbul provided excellent service. She was very polite and hospitable.

It’s my second time and still The food was amazing like every time. And the staff and service was great. It was really quick and great respect for time and money.

Food:
The food was the highlight of the experience. The mixed grill was cooked really well with lovely flavours, especially the grilled chicken – full of taste and nicely charred. The rogan lamb was also well-cooked and tender. The naan was soft and fresh – a great addition to the meal.
Drinks:
Unfortunately, the drinks didn’t quite meet expectations. The milkshake wasn’t very cold or thick – it lacked that creamy, indulgent milkshake feel. The strawberry mojito could’ve been less frothy and more refreshing.
Atmosphere:
This was the main downside. We were seated next to two very loud guests, which disrupted the overall vibe and made it hard to fully enjoy the meal.
Overall:
The food was very enjoyable, especially the mains and naan. However, the drinks need improvement, and the atmosphere wasn’t ideal on this occasion.

I used to order from here all the time, they were my favourite pizza place. The last 2 times I’ve ordered my usual Detroit style pizza and the base is now a premade focaccia base that has pizza topping popped on and been reheated. I lifted the toppings and saw the fully cooked focaccia dough. Not the original pizza dough that I enjoyed. It basically tastes like bread with pizza toppings. Unfortunate. I won’t be ordering again.

Compared to the Brick Lane one which we loved, the visit here was shocking. We were the only customers. There was no welcome. The seating area was filthy. The ingredients they use was left in the seating area including boxes of cheese which you can see in one of the pictures. There is no door leading to the toilet door. The tables were filthy. It's nothing like the pictures uploaded on here from three years ago. They simply do not care enough about people and the freshness of the food they are serving.

When Crave first opened, it instantly became my favourite pizza spot. Their Tandoori Fusion Detroit Pizza was honestly unbeatable, nothing else came close.

It’s been a while since I last ordered, so I decided to treat myself today, but unfortunately the quality just wasn’t there anymore. The base was more like thick bread, there was barely any sauce, it tasted dry, and the toppings felt sparse. Overall, a real disappointment, especially considering how incredible it used to be.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I’m hoping the owners take this feedback seriously and bring back the original quality and taste that made Crave stand out in the first place. If things go back to how they were, I’d happily return, but for now, I’m not sure I can.

Awful pizza! When Crave was first opened, my family and I loved their pizza and it was delicious!
Today when I ordered the Detroit pizza, the dough was pre-baked and thick as a brick! there was very little topping and it was tasteless. Also, stingy with the topping. I am extremely disappointed with their pizza, they have lost their quality and it’s a shame that I will not be ordering from them again.

I can’t say enough good things about Crave Pizza! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with friendly services. The pizzas are absolutely top-notch—perfectly crisp crust, generous toppings, and a great balance of flavors. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients, and everything tastes fresh and made with care.

Their sides and dipping sauces are just as delicious, and the portions are definitely worth the price.

It’s become my go-to spot whenever I’m craving pizza. If you’re looking for great food, excellent service, Crave Pizza is the place to be. Highly recommend! 🍕

We are regular customers at Whitechapel Nandos, we decided to try the Ilford Nandos for the first time. We had to wait over ten minutes to be seated, even though there were no other customers and the staff kept walking past us if we weren't even there. Finally I managed to get attention of one of the staff and had to ask if we can get a table! Once seated everything else went quite well. The staff really need to work on their customer services!

Nando’s is always a great choice! The peri-peri chicken is flavorful and perfectly cooked every time. The menu has a good variety and the sides are just as delicious. I especially recommend the mac and cheese—it’s absolutely amazing! The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, the restaurant was very clean, and the staff were really great. Definitely recommend for a meal with friends or family.

Honestly, this was the worst Nando’s experience I’ve ever had. I’m a big fan of Nando’s and usually enjoy the food and service, but Ilford Nando’s was extremely disappointing.

From the start, there was no one to greet or welcome us. We stood at the counter but none of the staff made eye contact, so we ended up seating ourselves. After ordering through the app, we could clearly see our food sitting on the counter for over 10 minutes before anyone brought it over. By the time it reached our table, it was warm at best, not hot.

The food itself was tasty as always, but the service completely let it down. Even when we ordered dessert, it took around 20 minutes to arrive, which is far too long.

It’s obvious the staff need proper customer service training. Someone from Nando’s head office should really review the operations at this branch because it’s well below the standard expected. Sadly, we won’t be returning to Ilford Nando’s.

I had a great experience at Ilford Nando’s thanks to Misbah. The customer service was excellent from start to finish — friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The food was absolutely lovely, fresh, and cooked perfectly. Misbah handled everything professionally and made sure we were well looked after, which really made a difference to our visit. I highly recommend him to become manager who would clearly care about both the customers and the quality of service. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Decided to stop for lunch with my wife and mother-in-law, and we walked past Nando’s. I was a bit hesitant at first, as I hadn’t been for a while and my last experience wasn’t great. However, as soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the manager, Charlotte, who was incredibly welcoming and showed us to our seats.

After ordering, our food arrived promptly, and Charlotte checked in to make sure everything was perfect and it absolutely was. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the restaurant was spotless.

We’ll definitely be coming back again, largely thanks to the outstanding service and friendly staff and lovely food.

I used to go there quite frequently for their chai. I was never a huge fan of their breakfast, but yesterday my friend and I ordered chicken karahi naan, which unfortunately was not fresh.

On her very first bite, my friend said there was something wrong with it. I tasted it but didn’t notice anything at first. By the time she had eaten half of the naan, I took a bite of the chicken and immediately noticed it was sour. That’s when I realised it wasn’t fresh.

I informed the receptionist, but he insisted that they always use fresh ingredients. However, after two hours, we both became sick, started vomiting, and had to take medication.

I was really disappointed and have decided to completely boycott this restaurant.

This was one of the most disappointing customer service experiences I have had in London. The staff communicated in an unprofessional and discourteous manner and were unable to manage orders efficiently. Despite repeated inquiries, no clear or reasonable estimated waiting time was provided, and customers were simply told to wait without proper explanation. I strongly recommend that the restaurant invest in proper staff training, particularly in customer communication, time management, and service standards. Improving staff behaviour and professionalism would greatly enhance the overall customer experience.

Me and my friends went there for breakfast. At first we felt like the items were a bit pricey. Although we ordered chicken jalferezi, lamb bhuna, anarkali daal and naan.  After receiving our food we were pretty much disappointed with the portion. It was so little for our expectation.  And lastly the taste was mediocre, we had higher expectations for this store and the brand. We couldn't finish our food and left it without any takeaway.

This was our first visit with family of 3. We had good time and enjoyed the taste of foods, gentleman who was serving us made our food time more enjoyable with his friendly and informative service from the till as well as was getting feedback about how was the food.

I can’t really comment on service as I always order online but shakes are reliably THICK each time- may you forever remain open and blessed!! Their Jacob burger is ace 9 times out of 10- sometimes balance of cheese and sweet chilli is a little off.

Walked in on a quiet weekday evening.

Played it safe and just got a chicken strip meal.
Food was fine, chicken was cooked with some decent marinade. However, it was not *that* tender, which it could have been.
The fries were fine without being spectacular, but were cooked well.

The service was a little cold, wasn’t even given a receipt and didn’t even receive tissues or cutlery and had to ask for it.
Minor things, but these small issues does make it a net negative experience.

The price was a little high considering the portion you are given, was expecting more chicken.

Overall, was an ok place to have a quick meal and couldn’t go wrong with my item selection.
I would like to try one of the burgers in future, however I do hope the service does improve.

A very nice restaurant with delicious food and great service.

The chicken burgers was very tender and flavourful with great seasoning, buns were slightly too big but helped keep the burger together.

Milkshake was the best for me.

Had the Happy Nero meal, the burger was quite good, enjoyed their chilli jam.

I had this with the regular fries and cheesy fries, wasn’t a huge fan of the cheesy fries as the cheese was artificial (that’s just a preference I hate this type of cheese)

What I did dislike a lot was the Amigos Cola, this reminds me of the cheap 17p cola you get from the supermarkets, charging £3 extra for chips and the lowest quality cola is annoying.

Went back here after a long time, and we were pleasantly surprised.

We where told the food would take time to come, and where offered a sofa float on the house.

The food arrived at a decent time, and was fresh and tasty.

We also had desert here, and it was one of the nicest cookies doughs i have tried. The birthday cake was spongy and moist and transported  me back to when I was a child.

We went to Big Moe’s for dinner and honestly the food was amazing. We were starving, and the Classic Buttermilk Fried Burger with double patty was extremely delicious, though very heavy—I couldn’t even finish it. We also ordered the T-bone steak, which was cooked perfectly and literally melted in the mouth. The grilled chicken piece served with it was also done so well that you can’t stop yourself even when you’re full. For starters, we had the garlic cheese bread, which was fresh and soft, and we ended the meal with one scoop of bubblegum vanilla and chocolate fudge ice cream. The only thing that disappointed me was the lime drink, i thought they forgot to add the lemon lol wasn’t worth the price. Overall, it was a great dine-in experience, the place is spacious, the food quality is excellent, and we paid £73 for everything. I would rate it 9/10 and definitely recommend it.

Can for breakfast and got to say that I enjoyed it. Steak and fried eggs cooked nicely, wife enjoyed her sandwich. Coffee was great. Lots of parking at the carpark. Clean place, American diner vibes! Friendly staff, was quiet for breakfast, we were only customers.

Quasim took amazing care of us. Very ambient and atmospheric vibe. I used to go big Moes as a kid and reliving it 10 years later with the same standard of service just made me smile. I strongly recommend the place. Food itself was outstanding really give off the american feel.

I got the platter that had short ribs that were pretty juicy. Would have been nice to remove membrane before so not too chewy. The chicken was nicely seasoned and brisket soft/succulent. The price is quite high, but it reflects the standards.

All our food is 100% halal, all our meat and poultry is un-stunned.

Franzos Ilford

We visited Franzos on Ilford Lane on a Saturday afternoon. As we didn’t go during peak time, seating was easy to find for our party of seven, which made the experience comfortable and relaxed.
The restaurant was clean and well maintained, and the service was prompt throughout our visit. We ordered a mix of items from the menu, and everything arrived in good time.
The Loaded Box was a highlight and went down very well. It offered great value for money, coming with a peri peri burger, three hot wings, and chips. We also ordered the Nashville-flavoured tenders and the mac and cheese with chicken, both of which were well cooked and full of flavour.
Overall, the food was satisfying, portion sizes were generous, and there was truly something for everyone. A nice added bonus was the prayer area inside the restaurant, which was very convenient.
A solid dining experience and a place we’d happily visit again.

My family and I keep coming back to this place since trying it for the first time. We love the Green Street branch so we decided to try this one as well. The food is just as delicious, the Half Chicken here actually has some spicy kick to it. A generous portion of chips is given every time you come here, which are super flavourful. Mojitos are refreshing and enjoyable too. The staff are also super helpful and friendly. But for the love of God, please change the bottles the Franzos signature sauces are stored in! They're really hard to get out and it's pretty frustrating. No other complaints otherwise. Food is high quality and much more affordable than most grilled chicken restaurants.

This place is terrible when you go with a family for dinner or lunch. The service is slow and the food is not what you would expect. The chicken item is OK. Apart from that everything is terrible. Ordered a burger and it took 30 minutes and it was like McDonald cheeseburger for about 12£ with meal deal. The kids meal is very small portions. I think, they should improve the quality of the food and service bcz there and too many good options on that road.

Went to franzo’s for a Birthday Celebration, a party of 20 people. They dont take bookings so waiting time on a saturday night was over an Hour, but the guy names Awais was polite and looked after us. Food arrived quickly and was amazing. We didnt get 1 portion of chicken, which when notified to one member of staff, she replied we have been served full order and she has checked with kitchen. She wouldnt count and kept on blaming us, which was rather embarassing. Why would we fight over just half a chicken when we have paid over £250??? One member of staff named Kinza was very polite and looked after us. So big thumbs up to Awais and Kinza. Might not visit again because of experience we had with one member of staff, but if anyone wants to go in for taste, its 5/5.

Food was very good. A bit noisy but you can expect from that many prople. Not very expensive as well.

Everyone on our menu is Halal. No alcohol or pork served.

First-time visit and it was great 👌
We went on a family outing to celebrate a relative’s first anniversary. It was a Saturday evening, just as the restaurant opened, and we had made an earlier reservation for the group.
The service was excellent, from a warm welcome, to accommodating our request for seating that allowed space for a baby in a pram. The waiters were especially friendly with our two young children and even gave them a little treat (boxed brownies) at the end of the meal.
We ordered a variety of starters including poppadoms, paneer, prawns, and chaat. The prawns were fantastic, well cooked with just the right amount of spice for a little kick. The only small criticism was that the poppadoms could have been served with larger portions of dips.
For the mains, we had steak, a mixed grill, curries, and burgers for the kids. Everything was cooked well, full of flavour, and enjoyed by all. The chops and steak in particular received rave reviews.
To finish, we ordered a selection of desserts along with kharak chai. The desserts were excellent, rich in flavour, with the right texture and moisture. The chai was smooth, flavoursome, and perfectly sweetened.
Before leaving, it was time for prayers, and once again the staff accommodated us by providing a prayer area and prayer mats.

Overall, the experience was outstanding. The combination of great food, excellent service, and a clean, spacious setting makes this restaurant ideal not just for casual meals, but also for celebrating special occasions. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and will definitely be going back to try more of the dishes we didn’t get to sample this time.

First time coming here and it was to celebrate my brother's birthday. The staff are so lovely and helpful. The decor is amazing and the place is very clean. The food was really nice. Mocktail was amazing! Loved the dessert too. Would definitely recommend.

First time here with family and we all loved it. We came when it was rather quiet. All the staff were extremely friendly and attentive. All our courses was delicious. The restaurant was clean. Parking available in a nearby carpark free in the evening. Praying facilities also available. Staff also gave free brownie favour to the kids. Will return again.

A lovely looking restaurant on a busy High Street, but with ample parking nearby (pass the restaurant, type in Isaac Newton academy).

Our waiter Azi was exemplary, recommended dishes and was on hand at every course. When the food arrived, it looked lovely and tasted great! The lamp chops and chilli paneer where great!!

I was a little disappointed that our briyani's won't as amazing, but still tasted good and the portion size was reasonable (enough to per portion for one adult and a child i would say)

On a final note, make sure you get the cheesecake and try the mocktails, I had a blue pineapple mohito and it was superb!!

There is also a prayer space allocated at the front of the restaurant.

Ordered from here after a long time of not having their food. We used to order here all the time and all I can say is that they've somehow become even better! The Spicy Chicken Supreme burger had a bigger patty inside and was so succulent and delicious. Their Fries and Chicken Nuggets are just as amazing as I remember. You get really affordable food with great portion sizes, I honestly came recommend Bim's enough. Miles better than McDonald's not just food wise but also morally speaking if you get my vibe.

What a Burger is pure magic between two buns. I could eat it a thousand times and still crave more. The flavor hits hard, juicy, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely finger-licking delicious.

BIM’S is easily one of the best fast food spots around — fresh, tasty, and consistently top-notch! The burgers were juicy, the fries perfectly crispy, and everything was served hot and full of flavour. You can really taste the quality in every bite.

A big shoutout to Shiva for his amazing service — friendly, quick, and genuinely attentive. Even during busy hours, he made sure everything came out perfectly and with a smile. It’s rare to see such great customer service in fast food, and Shiva definitely made the experience stand out.

Seen this on TikTok so I thought let’s try it out! I came here with my family we ordered the Algerian burger meal, double fish fillet burger, cheeseburger and a few other stuff including dessert. I've lived around Ilford Lane for a while now, it's home to loads of halal restaurants but I've never managed to visit Watan, I've been to the one in Southall around 5 years ago and wasn't impressed. However, every time I go past the one in Ilford Lane there are queues going out the door.

The weather was nice yesterday and we just fed and changed the baby so I said let's go for a walk and check it out for lunch.

The menu has a lot of options (swipe 👉 for menu) but I decided to stay on the safe side and try a Afgan Mix grill for £32. I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting much from here.. But I was pleasantly surprised!

The kebabs tatsed really good, the first bite of each different item was full of flavour and juicy, they have been marinated in well balanced spices, seasoned well and more importantly not overcooked, something that used to be typical in places like this. Finally, chefs are realising that cooking meat to medium makes it tender, soft and taste better overall. Also, they don't remove the fat off the lamb chops, which means you get that flavour hit from your first bite. Lamb chops, lamb tikka, chicken tikka, seekh kebab and reshami kebabs, every item was good

It's served on a gaint naan and comes with 2 types light and delicate rice. Portions are good, we had plenty of food left over for take away.

Overall, for a first time visit and quick lunch I was impressed and enjoyed the meal. Lunch time was good to visit as it wasn't busy, I see why its busy in the evening as there's not many tables, maybe 45 people max. Decor isn't fancy, modern and clean and the service is basic.

And yes, I know I should of tried the Chapli Kebab.

All food halal. No alcohol. No service charge added. I paid for my meal, not a invite.

I had an amazing experience at Watan! The food was bursting with authentic Pakistani flavors — rich, perfectly spiced, and beautifully presented. - chicken wings and chips, wings were tasty but too small. Instead of promising 10 wings and serving mini wings. Rather give 6 or 8 wings that are big.

- Chicken saag didn't have the taste. It was too bland. But considering the place I would say it's not bad to eat bland food.

- Lamb chops. This was the WORST dish I ordered it felt like the chops were just overnight marinated with lemon, pepper and a lil ginger garlic paste and just tandoor roasted. I asked the waiter to talk to the chef and ask him to improve it mentioning a few spices and a method of roast. He went back and informed maybe his shift leader and I see them 3 look at my table and having a discussion but not working on what I said.

The tables are very closely kept to one another, people passing by happen to stumble passing by. No space for waiters themselves to pass by.

The food was fresh, tasty, and full of flavour. A special mention to Sana for her excellent customer service — friendly, attentive, and made the visit even better. Highly recommend!

I visited Watan on a Tuesday evening around 8:30 PM, and as always, the experience was excellent. We ordered the large platter, chapli kebab, paneer curry, chicken karahi, and keema naan—and every single dish was bursting with flavor. The taste is consistently 10/10, and Watan rarely disappoints when it comes to the quality and seasoning of their food.

That said, when the place gets really packed, the food might not come out sizzling hot temperature-wise—but it's still warm and delicious. It's something to keep in mind, especially during peak hours when the kitchen is clearly under pressure.

The ambiance can also get hot and humid when it’s full, which may be uncomfortable for some. But honestly, the amazing food makes up for it.

Price-wise, it’s a bit on the higher side. I’ve noticed they’ve increased prices generously over the years, which is understandable to an extent, but it does push it into the “slightly expensive” category for what it is.

Overall, Watan delivers fantastic food, and if you can handle a busy atmosphere and a bit of heat, it’s absolutely worth a visit.

Beyond Boba Bubble Tea

This is my first time at Beyond Boba, I was visiting from Washington DC to London for two days it was so nice to taste a drink from Boba and Ms. Asia helped us to choose a right drink for us and she was so nice and humble. Thanks to her.

This place is shocking. First you’re greeted with roadmen outside and inside the shop in your way just vaping loads. Then whilst checking the menu the girl at the till says we don’t have anything from the £3 offer, firstly I didn’t even say I’m here for any offer, and apparently the stock is finished for everything. No cakes, milkshakes, or anything other than just boba. Even with the boba being £3 it was terrible. Definitely one of the worst boba places out there. A lot of these boba tea places are just run by immature girls and boys and this one definitely shows.

I have never felt the need to write a negative review before, but my experience at Beyond Boba Ilford Lane was so shockingly bad due to one employee that I have to warn others.

When I placed my order, she slammed the cup down on the counter so hard I jumped. I wasn't expecting a parade, but basic human decency and professionalism would be nice. I paid nearly £12 for a drink and was treated with utter contempt. The drink was mediocre, but that's almost irrelevant after being made to feel so unwelcome.

Life is too short to spend your money where you're not valued. I will never go back and would not recommend this place to anyone unless you enjoy being treated like a nuisance by someone who clearly hates their job.

The workers in this shop are very lazy aswell as the ilford branch every time I go there the staff always lie and say the brownie tray is out of stock , when in fact they just can not be asked to make it , I came here the other day In hopes this branch will do the brownie tray however as soon as I asked the lady she looked at her colleague and started smiling and said it’s not available, every single time I go the workers say it's not available no matter what time I go. I only blame the workers as the owners most likely don’t know this is happening please talk to your workers and sort them out this is unacceptable!!!

the best bubble tea I've ever had. the customer service is impeccable, staff are really friendly I was extremely happy. they give you a taste of the drink before its sealed to make sure its sweet enough and just right for your taste buds making the overall experience even more delightful and personalised to the customers needs. my favourite had to be the beyond brown sugar tea as it had the perfect balance of creaminess and sweetness alongside the soft tapioca it was just heaven in a cup. I recommend this place to anyone who wants bubble tea and are looking for something to satisfy cravings they never had.

Great food, price is not too different from others like it. The difference is, here you have plenty of seating, it's nice and warm inside. Unlike other places that are tiny, cramped and cold.

Definitely recommend coming here with the family, as there is enough on the menu for everyone. The main reason to come here is the food itself, the burger is juicy and tender and goes great with the caramelised onion and sauce. The fries are amazing, just enough salt and spice and it's perfectly light and crisp. The buffalo wings were packed with flavour, spicy but not overwhelming and they are chunkier than a body-builder's biceps.

Will definitely come back again. The only minor criticism is the price, it could be a few quid cheaper. It's not overpriced, but to make it truly competitive. Putting the price down a little will make a huge difference. Again, this is a very minor criticism since I didn't feel like I was being fleeced.

Finally got a chance to try this place out. Wasn’t disappointed. The restaurant is big and spacious and the decor was beautiful, takes you away from the busy location it’s in. I can imagine how nice the atmosphere would be in the evenings. Parking is difficult but we found a pay&display bay on the side road not too far.
We went for lunch and were the first ones in. A few other customers arrived just as we placed our order. We were greeted at the door by a lovely staff (sorry didn’t catch your name) who was very helpful.
They had an offer on all burgers with fries for £10. We order the Ghost burger meal, the Mix loaded box and we couldn’t decide on the wings so the helpful staff allowed us have a mixed portion of Buffalo wings and the Just Thai Me. We loved the burger and the loaded box, the Just Thai me wings was delish too although the Buffalo wings a little too tangy for us. We had the strawberry mojito and the virgin mojito both were really nice and absolutely loved the pouches they came in. Will defo visit again in the evening soon. Thank you.

The atmosphere here is great and the place looks really nice, but honestly, the food didn’t live up to expectations. I tried the burger with fries, plus the loaded fries with beef and sauce, and while the portion sizes were good, the actual taste was nice though. The loaded fries looked amazing but I feel like the sauce is wrong and just need to think about to replace it, which overpowered everything else.

The drink came in a cool pouch bag and I love it. It was bang.

Overall, the place has a nice vibe and I can see why people would come here to hang out, but food wise, I’d say it’s not worth the hype. If you want to try something different, it might be worth one visit, but for flavour and value, there are definitely better burger spots around.

I visited this restaurant today to take advantage of the lunchtime offer of any burger and chips for £10. I found the offer to be quite decent, and I was happy with the overall experience.

When I entered, the restaurant was pleasantly quiet, and there were only a few customers inside. The staff initially seemed nice and friendly, although I did notice that no one came back to check on me during my meal. It wasn't a huge issue for me, perhaps this isn't standard practice at this establishment.

The food itself was enjoyable, and I must commend on the generous portion of chips. It's often the case that restaurants skimp on portions during promotional offers, but that was certainly not the case here!

Overall, I left very happy with my meal and will likely return in the future.

I’ve been to a lot of burger spots in my life, but this is genuinely the best burger I’ve ever had. It exceeded my expectations and completely transcended what I thought a burger could be. A solid 9.5/10. People are really sleeping on this place, because it stays mostly empty and it shouldn’t be.

Famz Peri Peri

I ordered a manage pizza actually I wanna be honest. It was like shit and they charged me 11 pounds and the pizza was too small. I think it was 6 inches seven. Something like that taste like shit my face I eat sweet pizza. I don’t know. I don’t know how I can explain for you sweet pizza my first time actually.

Famz Peri Peri delivered an exceptional dining experience! The Peri Peri Chicken and Wings were cooked to perfection—juicy, tender, and packed with bold, smoky Peri Peri flavors. The Peri Peri Chips were a standout, perfectly crunchy and generously topped with zesty Peri Peri seasoning. The Mango Crush Drink was refreshing and complemented the meal beautifully. The addition of fresh salads added a nice balance to the dish. Overall, a fantastic meal with great flavors and quality—highly recommend!

Me and my family have been eating at from Famz since it first opened in Gants Hill, the food is amazing and fresh as always but I would like to give a special mention to one of their key staff workers Mr. Shoaib, his customer service is 10/10 and he is one of the main reasons we keep ordering again and again from this shop, he knows how to cater to our special orders and always makes sure we leave the shop with A smile on our face 👌🏻

The customer service of Komal is truly amazing.
She’s so nice and kind. And handles customers so nicely. She is always very helpful and looking forward to seeing if anything else is needed.

Saffron Street

Was my first time visiting saffron street with family. The food was tasty and was a great vibe! My favourite was the fried ice cream that was absolutely delicious! The only criticism I have is the portion size is small compared to other restaurants for the prices. Overall was enjoyable!

The food was okay and the service was decent, but nothing really stood out. Some dishes were nice, others were just average. The atmosphere was fine, but it felt like it could be better. Overall, an alright experience, not bad, but not amazing either.

Delicious food. Masala fries where probably the best I’ve ever eaten. The tacos were nice, but a bit too oily.

One negative was the attendee when I arrived within the 15 minutes holding time. I was not aware the entire group had to be there to claim the reservation (especially when one of them is arriving with a newborn baby!) and feel like it could have been communicated more nicely especially once our original table had been given away. Other than that, the service was fine.

Was craving some chaat. I’ve been to their other restaurant - Saffron Kitchen many times and I’ve always loved the chaat platter there. Since I was in the Gants Hill area however and didn’t fancy the drive to Leyton, we decided to come here instead because they do the same platter.

I’ve been here several times too over the years, and whilst the food has always been consistently decent, it’s definitely never been anything to remember - just more of a nice convenient place if I’m in the area and can’t think of anywhere else to go. Anyway, I hoped the chaat platter would be just like Saffron Kitchen’s, unfortunately, it wasn’t - all the chaats were far too sweet, and the gol gappe were filled almost entirely with yogurt, which none of us enjoyed.

The mains were better - nothing wow as usual, but decent with nice balanced flavours and decent portions. The Indian dishes were definitely better than the Chinese fusion options though.

That said, the restaurant itself is very aesthetic, and we were seated quickly with great service throughout. The food presentation is always on point, with a bit of added theatricals for the gram if you’re into that kind of thing.

We traveled 125miles to come here because my son loves this place. The captions says it all. The best hands down , the vibe is so good here too and waiter service great, large mocktail and daiquiri range too. Been coming here for 5 years twice a year for anniversaries and birthdays . The biryani's are awesome here too a whole lamb shank protruding out of it.  The kids always  wake up early to travel here and sleep the way back home (That says it all really)

Halal Chinese takeaway with 4 friends. We had an assortment of dishes.  We ordered over the phone and collected.  All dishes had an individual taste. Complimentary spiced chips were given by the owner which were tasty and unusual.

I’ve been a customer since 2018 and it used to taste so nice back in the day. Today would have been my first time this year placing an order from them. I ordered a special chow mein and salt and pepper chilli lamb ribs. Like what is this? Does this seriously look appetising to you? I couldn’t eat it. What a waste of money and what a shame - gone right down hill

Hing Wok Takeaway is absolutely fantastic! The food is always fresh, full of flavour, and perfectly cooked. Every dish I’ve tried has been delicious, and you can really tell they use quality ingredients. The service is excellent as well—friendly, fast, and always welcoming. Whether ordering in person or over the phone, they’re efficient and easy to deal with.

Hing Wok

It’s a must for me to visit Naan Staap whenever I come to London. It’s my second day here and I’m back for breakfast. The food is always great and gives real desi vibes, the music is perfect, and the staff is amazing. They’re always so helpful, especially Poonam ❤️

Was on a pit stop from Leicester, went for ch karai naan, chicken pastie, and a ch jalfrazi with a rogni naan...sounds a lot but ch jalfrazi was tiny portion...but bit pricey at 7.95, did expect a bigger portion.

The ch karai naan is in fact ch keema in spices etc, think they can have better descriptions, I was expecting ch stuffed in a naan not ch mince...however I was tasty and the naan bread was very soft.

Ch pastie was poor and again with ch mince and not ch breast or thigh.

Jalfrazi curry was ok but too much oil for such a small portion.
Overall 18.10, quite expensive average food based in wat I had.

Do Naat Staap here!  I orders the only breakfast meal they have for £9.95 and it was atrocious! It comes with 4 items, some oily canna, halwa, bread ( can choose from naan, paraotha and something else) and chai oh yeah and some measly pickles. I can't believe they charge nearly £10 for this. As there were 2 of us it equated to nearly £20 I could've bought some decent engine oil with that price instead I got plate full of curry oil. The place is run by a lady with little to Naan customer experience she saw we had young children all under the age of 6, and could not even offer them tap water when the weather was 26C outside! Absolutely ridiculous and blaming the management for it.. Well this review is also to address the stingy management why can't you offer better breakfast like Chaiiwala? Instead you give us plate full of oil for £10,  save yourself a hastle and just offer customers a can full of cooking oil.
