We stopped by on a whim one Sunday evening and we were NOT disappointed!! We ordered a platter and some extras; it was great. The desserts were amazing and the manager added some great banter to it. Customer service was really good, they were quite busy so we had to get their attention a few times but they were very helpful and polite. They could do a better clean between customers, other than that it’s brilliant. Will definitely be back.

The food was excellent. Slightly pricey but not overly so. Well cooked beautifully presented.
Service was attentive and helpful. We went when it was not too busy so got our food quickly.
The interior is nice.

Came here a couple of times when it was now and I left disappointed. The food didn't meet my expectation and I found it very bland however re-visted again through recommendation and was pleasantly surprised. The food tasted lovely and was full of flavour. The service and staff were very efficient, accommodating and quick. Would definitely be coming again and would recommend the restaurant.

We had a great time at this restaurant. The customer service was great. One of the lovely lady's saw my son was after strawberries and very kindly bought some over without me having to ask!

Went on a busy Friday night but regardless of not having a booking, we were seated quite quickly. So the waiting times isn’t too bad and they’ve got a seating area. The food tastes really, very well cooked however the portion size is for a tiny street cat. We got the mixed platter and were incredibly disappointed at how small everything was, we were left quite hungry. For £25, it’s not worth it. However would like to try full main dishes.

We are HMC approved. This means our entire menu and supply-chain is certified Halal according to HMC standards. No traces of pork or alcohol in the store.

Ordered 2 x Fino Pitta yesterday to be delivered and received both with no Grilled haloumi cheese which is advertised as being one of the ingredients. Made a complaint to nandos customer service and no solution has been offered and they couldn't care less about regular customers. Customer service is going down hill and so are the food standards. If your order is missing any items or isnt up to standard get straight on to the manager and demand a FULL REFUND or REPLACEMENT there and then!!

Please note that this review is specific to NANDO'S ILFORD. Upon arrival, we weren't greeted by any staff as they were chatting away. We then decided to awkwardly just take a seat at a table. We ordered half chicken with chips & brocoli and butterfly chicken with macho peas & spicy rice. The grilled chicken was not too flavoursome and perhaps a little on the overcooked side. You would definitely need more sauce on the side. However the chips, brocoli, rice and peas did taste nice and same as other branches.

We ordered tap water, however I had to get back up to ask for cups so staff can be more attentive in all aspects at this branch.

Overall it was a dissatisfied experience for us at this particular nando's branch. Normally they have good service with good food. I guess this branch is okay if you are just looking for good protein intake.

Superb example of a great Nandos. Great space. Food was fab. Staff were super friendly. Cannot fault it. Food was spicy, goes with the territory I guess :)

Food came 35 mins late and was told it wasn’t 49 minutes like we were lying about it being quite late. Have been to many nandos and have received great service. The waiter said it’s really busy but the restaurant was empty and then he said they were busy with deliveries as if the the in store customers aren’t a priority. Very shambolic. After all that waiting my chicken and sunset burger bun was quite overcooked. I’ve attached images for reference. Won’t be visiting this branch again.

Order family platter, wings and sweet potato wedges. Very disappointed £4.95 for 3 chicken wings and received wings from new born chicken look at the size.

We have 385 restaurants, 72 of which serve only Halal chicken and are signposted both in the restaurant and online. A small proportion of chicken sold in our other restaurants may also be Halal.

Some of the nicest Turkish food I've had. It wasn't too heavy very light and super flavourful. The pita was hot and crispy, the hummus and yoghurt dip were very refreshing. The mix platter was huge and everything was piping hot and flavourful. The Turkish tea was complimentary and delicious and the chocolate cake was rich and a huge serving it was really difficult to finish for us 2 people after food. The staff were lovely and accommodating they showed us to multiple tables indoor and outdoor to our preference.

It was my first time at this restaurant, the ambience is good and the food choices quite decent. The service is OK, portions are fairly good too. We enjoyed the time while tasting our food. We will be back again.

This place used to be good, really good. However it appears it has gone down drastically. I suspect it has changed hands and the food preparation is done completely differently than how it was done before.

I ordered a Koubideh Kebab (2 skewers of minced lamb). This is usually served with some butter, grilled tomatoes etc as you can see from the photo there is no grilled tomato it is missing and no butter to moisten my rice with.

After the Koubideh skewers were heated i could smell something was different, something was wrong. It smelled almost sour which indicated the meat had gone off. I wasnt sure. Having tasted it, i was even more convinced something was wrong.

The Lahmachun was ok and the wings were fine. Plenty of salad to fill our bellies but i still couldn't get over the dissapointment with my main meal.

Asked for tap water, was told they can only provide bottled water. Even then the bottled water was not of any quality, its the cheapest kind usually given out for free or you can get these for as little as 30p.

Im not impressed, very dissapointed with the quality of food.

We used to visit Wazir Turkish Restaurant frequently and while it used to be really nice, I feel like the quality of their food has declined recently.

The some of the dishes are undoubtedly good, with satisfying portion sizes. The Adana kebab and mix grill platter stood out as flavorful choices. Their starter salad was fresh and sauces were also delicious. My sons particularly enjoyed the shawarma wrap, although it didn't quite capture an authentic Arabic shawarma taste. While the rice flavor wasn't to my liking, the overall experience was decent, even if not mind-blowing.

CUPP Bubble Tea - Gants Hill

Had the bubble tea a couple times now from here. I usually go for brown sugar tea with tapioca (obviously). There is always a crowd of people outside this shop (that's why I thought I'd try it out). To be honest it's pretty standard. I wonder if the crowd of people are actually customers or people hanging out! There are some other big chains that are better IMHO. Nonetheless, it's not bad either so if you need a fix and you're in the area it's a fair option. 3 stars only for taste as I have tasted better.

Love it! Good selection and variety. Tapioca pearls are amazing and they have these brown sugar bubble teas that are amazing. New place opened June, clean and very welcoming. You have to try it! And if you didn't know it is in Gants Hill, anyone from Romford area can get there easy and quick as there aren't too many options around to pick. So give it a try, it was really good!

contrary to some of the other reviews, i think this bubble tea store is great! i went there yesterday with my boyfriend and all of the staff were very friendly, drinks were good too. matcha was a little sweet, would be nice if you could adjust the sugar levels. other than that i had a pleasant experience and will definitely be going there more often :)

A very average bubble tea place at best. There's better chains around, though this being a dedicated place in the area explains the queues. The price certainly doesn't justify the quality.

But if you need a fix, this is at time of writing, the only dedicated place so it will provide an average bubble tea if at a fairly high price.

Fair warning: some flavours will taste like juices/syrups you may have had before (e.g. Mango tea tastes like Rubicon; Rose milk tea tastes like Rose syrup drink).

Got my bubble tea today. The person working taking the order wasn't really helpful. Charged for a bag without asking if I need a bag, also didn't explain the process for ordering as I have never ordered before! then when I got my drink the person working didn't even give a bag and when asked for a bag I got given a blank look like I was in the wrong. Showed the receipt and still got a blank look. This is very unprofessional and the drink was tasteless. I will not be returning here at all. You should be helpful to your customers and be transparent about charges and not just charge your customer without asking what they want! Everyone beware of what you order and what your receipt shows you have paid for!! Don't waste your money like I did.

Went to check out the new menu from @loadedburgers who now also offer HMC certified halal aged Angus steak and its at a decent price. Pictured is the beefy burger, beef patty, melted cheese, caramelised onions, chill  beef and the usual fillers. I liked the gooey and messiness of it, but I didn't get a strong taste of that beef, however, I was really hungry and ate this burger so fast I didn't take the time to taste it! Also ordered a Moijoto, which was flat, lacked freshness and sweetness. The chilli beef fries where decent. I did recommend the ribiculous burger to a few friends, some liked it some said it was too sweet, I like sweetness in a burger. Anyway, hope you all have a blessed weekend. Salams.

Loaded Gourmet Burgers and Fries

It looked quiet so I stopped in for some eats while I was in the area. Burger was lovely, loaded skinyy fries were delicious, can't fault it enjoyed the whole meal, well cooked, arrived fast and tasted delicious. Will definitely return.

Very filling and wholesome burger, quality is on point, just what you're looking for in terms of delicious burgers the way it should be! This place has been around for ages and the food speaks for itself. Portion sizes are very generous and the atmosphere is comfy and cool. Definitely recommend for your burger fix! I ordered the Americana burger with hand cut fries and the texas bbq wings which were sweet and crunchy.

Ah man, this place was so awesome.
Very good burgers. It is very good concept to build your own burger , order it , and enjoy. Food was not over priced. Service was good. This is a place where I will go again if I ever visit GB again.

Very good burger place, the burger patties was well cooked.  Been here before, the price is reasonable and good customer service was provided by staff members.

I could spend ages trying and I wouldn't be able to find anything negative to say about this place and their food. Staff is great, quality of the food is superb and it's been like this every single time I went there. My tip: add beef to the nachos, you'll thank you later

Very nice food and great prices. The service was good and friendly staff. The decor is nice and shop was clean. The food tasted very delicious. We got a mixtures from a nanwich to a keema naan. Also tried the veg option and everything was perfect. Will be visiting again for sure.

Very nice and enjoyable atmosphere. Customer service and wait times were excellent. The atmosphere and menu variety were the standouts for me. The food was excellent and would definitely come again. 10/10.

I go there 4 days a week.   I would say it is the best place for breakfast lunch and dinner.  The service is really good  and the employees are very nice.  I would definitely recommend to go with your families and friends or even alone to be honest.      Best place ever.

I gave this place 4 stars only because the burgers weren’t too great and one of our items were forgotten. Other than that the service was immaculate and the interior set a nice vibe to the evening. We tried 5 different drink flavours, the best was “pucker up”.

Would love to visit again and I highly recommend

Other than the fact that the people who serve you are not as friendly, everything in this restaurant is nice. The menu is limited but very nice, sweets are generously sized, the interior design is fantastic, smart and very elegant, despite not having proper windows or good views out of them, it feels airy and bespoke.
I was quite happy and would probably go back.

Came here on the grand opening. Expected it to be just another luxurious-interior average-food restaurant but to my surprise the food was 10/10. I was shocked at how good it tasted. The service was also excellent, only waited 5 minutes as a walk in before being seated . Special thanks to Raj and Faizan! i am definitely visiting again with more friends and family!

Lovely decor. Food was average. Service slow (although our waitress was so nice) dessert was good though. Overall you go there to feel a bit luxury. I would go back for the dessert only. Oh and bring your own water they don’t serve tap water 😭

Fun looking place  but seriously good food. 14 hour brisket was amazing. Double loaded burger was too. Sides are decent too. Far too much to try desserts. Great addition to Ilfors food scene. We will be back.

What can I say...this is what Ilford has been missing!! A truly Americanised experience but absolutely perfect. Took my son here for my birthday lunch and the food...oh my days the food!! I had the beef rib which was immense and he had a chicken burger. We ordered wings too and basically had wayyyyy too much food! Don't be fooled by the fact that the meals seem to come qith very little in the way of sides, they really don't need it. This is a meat-eaters heaven! We had the restaurant to ourselves as it was a Monday lunchtime so we got to sit at the table in the car which is at the front of the restaurant, needless to say my 4 year old loved that aspect! You order on your phone at the table then they take payment before bringing the meal. Staff were friendly, restaurant very aesthetically impressive and the food is in a league of its own. Not cheap but worth every penny!

So we had an great meal but a very bad experience! But it did not stop me from giving them 5 stars.. let me explain

My son is T1 diabetic so we order a Coke Zero for him. However since we have a blood glucose monitor on him, we noticed  his blood sugar began to sky rocket! We found that he was given a full fat coke. In fairness, it is an easy mistake to make, but quite detrimental for his health.

The manager Farhan was extremely apologetic and did whatever means to help us. I can see he felt genuinely bad for his staff’s mistake. He did everything he could to make us feel compensated

But that aside, Food wise? Great! We ordered the fully loaded burger, buttermilk chicken burger, a sharing BBQ tray and everything tasted great! Atmosphere is brilliant and the Airtable was a great touch. Little bit on the pricey side but I would definitely come back again!

I was really disappointed with the food and service. It’s a shame because the atmosphere is really nice. The drinks tasted of nothing. We ordered two different burgers, one was dripping in fat and the other had more fat than meat. I have reduced my star rating from two to one, as this morning my son is suffering from food poisoning.

Highly over priced menu, 12.5% obligatory service charge for non existent service. The interior looks great, food and service well below par. A lot better restaurants in the area.

All our food is 100% halal, all our meat and poultry is un-stunned.

This hidden gem tucked away on a quiet side street serving breakfast brunch every morning and burgers and steaks in the evening, as well as value for money. They started breakfast recently, so I tried few of the dishes.

I always judge sausages with any breakfast dishes. You can tell these ain’t your typical cheap sausages. Good tasty meaty and beefy sausages. Just a good old classic breakkie. With breakfast prices everywhere going close to £15, getting a breakkie under 10 is a win win

My fav has to be this steak and egg. Amazing tender and melt in your mouth pulled beef with Avocado which gave a nice little creamy texture. This was really good. Must try

This probably might be one of the best pancakes I’ve had. I mentioned few times buttermilk pancakes that have a fluffy yet flakey cakey texture are the ones. This was exactly that. The edges have a nice caramelised crust giving a nice little crunchy twist.

First Aussie french toast. Most know I can’t do fruity. I probably would’ve enjoyed this without the fruity stuff. The bread itself was soft and had texture and crunch from coconut infused. Wasn’t for me because of the fruits but I can tell those who like fruity will defo enjoy this

I tried one of their burgers. The butter chicken was calling my name. Lol I had it and I was surprised them burgers were fricking amazing. Probably one of the most juiciest chicken thigh I’ve had. So crispy and tender chicken inside. The butter chicken gravy was drenched on the top. I would’ve drenched and dipped the whole thing for this burger

All in all excellent spot for breakfast even for your burger fixes. I must come back to try their burgers. Defo has potential

The Connaught

This small little brunch place, is a cute little place to go for brunch. The only downside to this place is how small it is and the waiting times (Was told the waiting time would be a minimum a 45 minute wait, luckily someone left before us and got seating within 5 minutes), other then that the food is alright. The Staff are extremely friendly, went with someone who has a peanut allergy, although the chef advised not to eat anything due to possibility of cross contamination after confirming that the nuts were from the Baklava we came to and agreement with what would be okay to eat.

Hidden gem in Ilford which serves great breakfast options. We ordered the hot chocolate, The American (comes with mini buttermilk pancakes) and the Classic Breakfast. Decent prices and has a bit of everything to suit everyone’s taste. The buttermilk pancakes were perfect - not too sweet at all. We came on a weekday after 11am and were seated pretty quickly. If you do come on a weekday, be prepared to wait as it is quite small inside but worth the wait in my opinion. The side roads have free parking through the Ringo app which is a plus.

Amazing halal brunch/breakfast spot. The steak and eggs were amazing (the only negative was that they were a little cold when they came out of the kitchen), the pancakes and the royale florentine were great as well. They have virgin cocktails and iced coffee as well. The staff were super busy but lovely. Definitely a great place to try in Ilford. I would recommend booking in advance as they have limited seats.

I visited this place on the launch day and I have to be honest I did have low expectations as it's a steakhouse and on launch day.

However, we were surprised and we loved the food and left the shop very satisfied.

The decor of the place is nicely done and the shop is clean, the staff were often cleaning the floors and tables and making sure the shop was spotless.

The staff were friendly, but we did have to wait around 35 mins for food, but the staff apologised for the delay and this can be expected for a launch day.

We ordered the Jose burger, which is similar to smash burgers but with green chillies, this was a really good burger and would recommend getting it. This came with their house fries, which I have to say is one of the better fries I've had, they were crispy but not too much and had a nice seasoning to it.

We also got the buffalo cheesy burger, this was the weakest item we got, which was still nice and the chicken was nice and soft, but found it slightly Tangier than normal. Which some people would prefer.

And finally we got the chicken steak with peppercorn sauce, this was the star item. The chicken was cooked perfectly and it was juicy and had great flavour and with the peppercorn sauce made it one of the best chicken steaks I've had. This was really nice.

I do hope to try the meat steaks next time, but I am confident that they will also deliver.

The presentation of the food was also great.

Overall, we loved this place and can easily recommend it and will be coming here again.

Cute cozy place. Went there for brunch with a friend and ordered the American breakfast and coffee. It was good for the price and they had different milk options too for the coffee which I liked.
The only issue was waiting time for the food/drinks but it seemed like the people working were less in numbers and did the best they could.

I  visited Naan Staap over the weekend. The ambiance, environment, and hygiene were pretty impressive. It was not crowded and had a good seating capacity.

We orderd Barbeque Chicken Naan and Chicken Achari Paratha. Both were scrumptious.

However, for an average foodie, one naan/paratha is not stomach filling. You may need to order multiple items to fill your stomach.

Secondly, I found prices are not reasonable compared to the quantity.

Went there with my partner and we both loved it. The place has a very cosy feel to it with some really nice decor.

The guy who served us was really patient and helpful. We had to wait a bit for the order to come through but that’s because they serve you freshly made naan which are worth the wait.

We tried few different naan breads and they were all absolutely delicious and I highly recommend you try their cinnamon chai because it was just way too good.

Customer service is really good and but taste some time up and down. I don’t know why it’s because of Chief or Busy time. I really hate waiting time period as it’s too long. That’s why I just give 3 Star and might changed if been serve next time earlier.

Great experience at Naan Staap.
Club Sandwich was great (good portion). Chicken Cheese Paratha was only decent. Also ordered their Lemonade. Ambiance was really pleasant, staff was nice and helpful.

First time I been here..very nicely done up clean and looks very hygienic place.price wise it's not bad . Went with a friend we orderd a plain naan with chanay, and a aloo stuffed naan.spices were perfect to eat.will definitely go again .highly recommended.

Amazing experience. The handsome fellow at the till was very helpful. Advised me on the smash burger, the hot and creamy doner. Best food in london and prices are very friendly especially in this living crisis. Will be here regularly!!

Went in on the grand opening although busy the service was very good, everyone was friendly and very welcoming! Food was delicious and interiors are gorgeous! Must go if you want a tasty yet pocket friendly meal!

I've lived around Ilford Lane for a while now, it's home to loads of halal restaurants but I've never managed to visit Watan, I've been to the one in Southall around 5 years ago and wasn't impressed. However, every time I go past the one in Ilford Lane there are queues going out the door.

The weather was nice yesterday and we just fed and changed the baby so I said let's go for a walk and check it out for lunch.

The menu has a lot of options (swipe 👉 for menu) but I decided to stay on the safe side and try a Afgan Mix grill for £32. I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting much from here.. But I was pleasantly surprised!

The kebabs tatsed really good, the first bite of each different item was full of flavour and juicy, they have been marinated in well balanced spices, seasoned well and more importantly not overcooked, something that used to be typical in places like this. Finally, chefs are realising that cooking meat to medium makes it tender, soft and taste better overall. Also, they don't remove the fat off the lamb chops, which means you get that flavour hit from your first bite. Lamb chops, lamb tikka, chicken tikka, seekh kebab and reshami kebabs, every item was good

It's served on a gaint naan and comes with 2 types light and delicate rice. Portions are good, we had plenty of food left over for take away.

Overall, for a first time visit and quick lunch I was impressed and enjoyed the meal. Lunch time was good to visit as it wasn't busy, I see why its busy in the evening as there's not many tables, maybe 45 people max. Decor isn't fancy, modern and clean and the service is basic.

And yes, I know I should of tried the Chapli Kebab.

All food halal. No alcohol. No service charge added. I paid for my meal, not a invite.

Food for the price was fair enough but that was the only acceptable thing. For me personally I believe that the food and service are equally as important. The service was awful. Workers do not care about customers and are quite rude and gnarly in their approach. They have no idea what they are doing and did not treat us as the customers with respect when any sort of assistance is required.

Me and my boys came here to watch the Chelsea vs Liverpool FA Cup Final. Lovely service food was amazing nice seating and excellent shisha could not complain about anything. Cleanliness was not an issue. Definitely recommend friends and family to come here.

I don’t usually leave reviews but felt this restaurant/ lounge deserved one. Excellent food and shisha, customer services is always great.  Refreshing to see a place where all staff is polite and helpful, especially the manager Saeed. Would highly recommended the restaurant & lounge! You will not be disappointed.

Ordered on good to go app, we got a chicken dhansak ,naan and a drink.
Flavours were very nice,  since getting that meal we have been to colony a few times now and enjoyed our meals.
Staff are friendly and attentive, prices are a bit high, but we enjoyed our experience.

Place was really nice! Love the decor. Staff were excellent! Good can't do quickly and was great. No alcohol but the cocktails were amazing. Had 4 different ones. All fire!!! Shisha was top quality. Best Shisha I've had in a while. Would definitely say the flavour was up there and lasted long and didn't get ashy! Parking was easy enough to find. Venue is big and music was good too. Look forward to going again.

Amazing Detroit style Pizza. Staff were amazing and we were looked after very well. Definitely will visit again!!

My only little issue was the seating. There were only high stools (which were very sturdy) which resulted in the table space not being to big. If you are with children or larger groups this may be a problem.

Loved the Detroit style pizza and wings, we got the cheese burger pizza, and a selection of wings, drove from south and was deffo worth it. The shop is super cool with many arcade games to play on!

Just ordered pizza from here... The quality and taste were great. One of the best in this area/Ilford. Been searching for the right quality for a long time and this is now the go to.

Sahara Grill Ilford

Friendly staff, decent presentation, burger and chips good.. the prawn noodles lacked enough flavour/ didn't taste as good as it looked and not a fan of their grilled chicken and rice personally.

I hear the steaks and chops are good however

There's no doubting the vision and ambition of Sahara Grill. It's an imaginatively conceived restaurant with little expense spared.

As a grill house, they offer an extenstive menu, with dishes that are presented straightforwardly. We can't help but wonder, however, how much better these could be if a small fraction of the creativity put into the aesthetical side of things was put into elevating and refining some, especially the mains and especially to justify the prices of a few.

There was no faulting their service though. Front of house was regimented, being as welcoming and as accommodating as any restaurant we've been to.

Friendly staff, food was satisfying but didn't feel like it was worth raving about. Best thing was probably the curly fries and halloumi. Not against giving it another shot but definitely not a favourite. They have porterhouse cuts which isn't very common around here, though put their own blend on flavouring it.

First time for me..went to the one in gants hill.we were seated very quickly as we didn't book.service was fast and prompt. Food was served hot.we had sauté chicken which came in a thick gravey and stake chips. The gravey was very salty .our starts were mind blowing cod bites..I could taste the coating on the fish it was so tasty never had anything like it.would recommend this place for family and friends.prices are reasonable.

3 out of 5…. The food gave it 3 stars but the service let this place down. Been to Whitechapel and Leyton and they are far ahead of service. Table booked but we waited for half hour and ALL of us were present. No starter plates, some cutlery missing and had to ask more then once for simple things for example, tissues.

For the price you pay you expect the service to be on point. The food came on time and it tasted very nice especially the starter Sahara chicken wings!! but a shame the service wasn’t to match. I will be trying it again but not anytime soon…

Enjoyed an evening dinner tonight and the new menu is amazing! We ordered a Rib eye steak, Korean chicken burger, chicken fillet, loaded fries and butter chicken pasta. All dishes were well cooked, beautifully presented and scrumptious!!! Well done to the Nova team.

Nestled inbetween the plethora of various eateries and shops on Ilford lane is Nova. What feels a little out of place for a restaurant like this.

We were seated downstairs although we asked if we could dine upstairs however we were told no and so reluctantly sat downstairs.

Staff were helpful and our order was taken when we were ready. Generally food was good and portion sizes were also good too. Felt the wings could have been more substantial and the mock tails were a little weak for my liking, but family were happy with theirs.

Definitely worth a revisit.

Setting is unique, a little dark but nice for couples.
Food was really good and full of flavors literally.
Desserts were great too but the only downside for me was the ice cream as it's their homemade one and not the usual vanilla ice cream.
Still would recommend the place as food overall was really good and price was NOT extortionate

I have been going here regularly since they opened 8/9 years ago. They use to be so good but have fell off badly.

My most recent experience, I got chicken donner which was like rubber. Wanted to give them a chance so called next time and asked to get a fresh batch. Guy said they cut it and store it in the fridge so could possibly be rubbery again. Also said that's just the way it is as chicken donner is not popular.

Its unfortunate but doubt I'll be going here again.

Just visited here with my small family. Seating is limited. It’s been years since I’ve been here. They have had a make over. We ordered chicken burgers (Birdie and Grand slam chicken version) and kids meals (chicken popcorn and kids beef burger). The food was really tasty. Chips tasted good and from the taste it seems that the chips oil is changed frequently. The value for money is very good. The staff were polite and professional. Especially Farouk who was really good with the kids. I highly recommend this place if you want a quick munch on the go. We traveled from Hackney to visit this place, mainly due to nostalgia but this place doesn’t disappoint.

Used to eat here all the time,.... But Continuously got my order wrong and the food isn't as good as it used to be. Better places to go. It's sister branch... Fat Joe's sports cafe is well worth a visit... But this one's let's the fat Joe's name down.

Had FOOD POISONING after eating their doner kebab wrap.

What these guys do is keep doner outside all day and put it in fridge overnight. Next day they fry it on a hot plate with kebab sauce as otherwise it would stink if they microwave it.

Please avoid, your health matters more than a few pounds.

DISGUSTING (Not for human consumption)

After buying this pizza and getting home to realise how horrible it tasted of course I had to go on the Google reviews to see what the restaurant is like and trust me the negetive reviews are not lying.

The simple margarita pizza we order was soaking with grease, and absolutely loaded with salt, couldn't even handle a slice of pizza before having to throw it away.

If you want to die an early death eat their food but please save yourself the pain and go and order food somewhere else

Restaurant was not clean and tidy, may be because of shortage of staff. Because everyone busy serving customers.
I loved Zinger burger Box meal and it’s really yummy with finger licking wings.
Highly recommended specially for quick bite.

First time visited "KFC" in uk. Seriously  it was very "disaster" experience  . The texture  of meat is not KFC mark its feels like i am eating in a roadside fast food court.
Fries are burnt-out.
I hope this branch doesn't maintain the lagacy .

I complained to just eat regarding my last order for what I received look at the attached photo, they never got back to me. I have decided never to order from this kfc again. Look at what they sent me, I would rather have that bought from Chesters on ilford lane and received a proper chicken burger with due care.

Two ladies were at the till. Really felt sorry for them as the restaurant was mad busy and these ladies worked hard. Had really long queue but didnt have enough staff. The shop floor was filthy,  tables were uncleaned and the bins were almost full. We had to clean our table and found lots of others tables were full of leftover foods from previous customers however nobody were there to clean these!  Totally unacceptable food place from an International chain and renowned  restaurant.

Big lack of cleanliness in the dining room and in the only toilet.  The bins are not emptied and there is a lack of toilet paper.  The cover on the cup do not close well so the liquid flows over us if we tilt the glass a little.  Avoid this restaurant.

HFA has certified KFC's products in these stores, and the store environments, as halal. KFC has also ensured that the halal certified chicken would also meet the rigorous animal welfare standards employed in the UK, and has consulted leading animal welfare groups about this. KFC insists that all poultry is stunned before slaughter. HFA allows the use of a technique called 'stun-to-stun' - a pain free process that makes the animal insensible to pain and suffering. A verse is also recited from the Quran at the point of slaughter by an appropriate person and the poultry will not come into contact with non-halal meat at any point in the supply chain. KFC only buys high quality, Grade A, farm-assured chicken from trustworthy suppliers, and this will not change.

Here's another burger spot that's been opened for a few months @burgotown located in Ilford on Romford Road. I was invited down give an honest opinion on the food. 

The beef burgers are customisable, you can add what ever toppings you like. I personally don't like this. I'd rather pick a burger from a menu, I find most people don't know what ingredients work well together in a burger. 

The standard beef burger is £7 which comes with one 100g/3.5oz Angus beef patty with meat from @hillfarmfinest. I personally think that a single 3.5oz  is on the small side.

I got a double beef burger with just caramelised onions and another with jalapeños, caramelised onions and torilta chips both costing £9 each

I found the burgers lacked depth in that expected beefy flavour, it needed more seasoning, it lacked that signature smell of rendered beef fat and with being smashed burgers with a thin patty there wasn't much of a crust. Despite this, it's a burger with potential and not bad at all. I ate half of the burger, the 2nd half did taste better the next day. I'd score the burger a solid 7.5/10

Also tried the chicken burger £6.50 this was very good, the chicken was big, freshly made, juicy and packed with flavour. The accompanying pickles were cut thick and made the burger overpowered with a strong pickle taste, but overall a very good burger 8.5/10

A favourite item was the honey chicken tenders £5.50 these are a must order! The large loaded chic fires were also very good £7.

Finally, the epic phily cheese steak sandwich, £9, massive bun filled with sliced beef and peppers topped with loads of cheese. This was good, it did have a intense cheesy flavour and I found it quite heavy, but overall a filling sandwich with generous amount of beef. 

The food comes packaged in foil, I asked for food to be given to me as a regular customer would receive it, so the burgers got a bit messy, sure most infulancers wouldnt have made this choice, but I don't care how it looks, I care about how it tastes. 

Although there's space for sitting in, there's limited seating with only 4 tables and the eating area feels cold due hospital lighting and lack of effort with the decor.

Best burger's in town 100%. Rang over the phone and went to collect in store and order was ready straight away. Customer service was brilliant but the burger and sides were even better. Will definitely go back

Have ordered the burgo double several times now and each time the consistency varies. Its been great twice and since then the burger is a little greasy and the Angus lacks flavour. The burger is of a decent size portion, however the regular fries are small at best - disappointing. I hope they are able to fix these issues and grow as a business.

I ordered the double burgo town burger, and it lacked heavily on the seasoning I was not pleased at all with the burger. I attempted to salvage the burger by adding a heavy amount of sauce but still tasted awful. Spending £11 on a burger with one bun soggy as a bread loaf dunked in water, and two meat patties that had the seasoning of white mans dinner was a joke. Although the burger was juicy and the side I ordered with it the loaded chicken fries was amazing. It would be rare to order from this place again, I initially had high hopes for this place.

I ordered a double burger , it was very juicy but it lacked heavily on the seasoning. It was almost bland . I was disappointed as I have dined in before and it was much better than what I had experienced tonight.

Great, speedy, and friendly service! The beyond brown sugar milk tea is a personal favourite of mine, and this is my new favourite place to get it from now. The best place for Bubble Tea in the area. Would highly recommend.

I’ve been here a few times now and love it. It’s so beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The drinks are always amazing and the staff are so friendly and polite. Well worth a visit

Amazing bubble tea! The staff are extremely helpful and on hand to suggest the perfect drink suited for me. I personally loved the fruit teas, had a much larger variety of topping flavours than other bubble tea shops I’ve been to before. My favourite is their unique frozen fusion menu, again something other shops do not sell. A great twist to your traditional bubble tea! Overall a classy and modern store, would definitely recommend.

I have now come here twice and the drinks are the best! I got the Beyond Brown Sugar which is immaculate, good balance of sweetness and the tapioca is soft and good!  I also got the Beyond Blue frozen fusion which was refreshing and different compared to what other boba shops offer :) The fruit teas are also just as good and will keep coming back

Very poor. Ordered chicken biriyani, there is hardly any chicken in there..it looked like thin shreds of lamb..its actually a few shreds of chicken.... Previously I had the same order and there was a whole chicken leg. This place is trying to mislead and shift ingredients about , probably shreds of chicken leftovers from.something else. I feel misled and over charged at £9. Will not order from here again - all I was left eating really was rice doused in spicy curry sauce. They know what they are doing - ripping you off. DO NOT ORDER HERE

The Vegan Biryani was so deliciously good. But, the best thing is the Chai and the talk with Asif. Would certainly visit this place again. This time for the Super Spicy Chicken Biryani.

The portion was too less for the price and the riata was literally watery yogurt too watery. The taste was ok. Wouldn't recommend to others. The shami burger was ok aswell. Wouldn't go there again

Nothing like Karachi style biryani and not fresh its re-heated. Rice was oily and the steam process (dum) wasnt done well. Portion size was too small for the price as well.

Amigos Burgers & Shakes Gants Hill

Burger is really good. The bread of burger is so soft. Fries are also nice crispy. But customer service was not good at this time. There was miscommunication between the staffs and it delayed our order by 40 mins.

Been to this place with family a few times during the years. They used to make very nice fresh burgers but now they seem to use frozen beef burger patties ive complained to the manager but he was persistent that they not frozen. Minimum burger would.cost you around £6 which is not cheap for frozen stuff. I would personally not go again as the food and taste wise not worth it.

Sitting area and customer service are very nice and friendly staff.

Very bad experience, waited upto an hour for my food when they were overstaffed, basic basic food, a fried chicken shop would’ve easily done the job, never again

The burgers are well made and presented.  They do variety of chicken and meat burgers.  Do try the Amigo special Burger.  Give it a try.

A very elegantly decorated restaurant. Their food was a 7/10. The speed of their service is extremely impressive. I ordered a lot of food with them online, and they prepared everything in around 10 minutes. They did make a small mistake in my order though but they did give me a complementary dish upon request. Also, the poppadoms I received, were completely broken.

Appalling experience - starting from the strangest main entrance door which isn’t automatic to the indoor decor which looked like a bar/nightclub. The restaurant was almost empty, as soon as we entered we were greeted and seated promptly. The food arrived fairly quickly. It lacked presentation and taste, grill meats were full of raw papaya taste and lacked flavour. Restaurant claims exquisite dining experience, nothing exquisite was on display. Dishes arrived without serving tongs and many other things missing. Four different waiters helped us get the items we needed, i.e drinks, spoons and serviettes. We left half the food uneaten, paid the bill and left. Like many other reviewers have mentioned, this place has got a lot of things wrong and need a lot of improvement. Wont be coming back anytime soon.

Lovedd this spot. A very nice and elegantly decorated restaurant right next to Gants hill station. The staff were super friendly and helpful when it came to recommending items to try. They do a nice range of Pakistani style food which is decently priced. We got a mixture of foods ranging from chicken, meat and fish.  Would definitely visit again with family 😊

Visited Wah Bey with a group of 10 friends on Thursday.  Amazing restaurant with really good food.  Both Grill and the Kadhai are the best.  Great service and also really good ambience.  I would recommend to everybody and also visit in the future.

Famz Doner Kebab

The best kebab in the town. The bread they use is unique and make the big difference. And kebab taste very good. Been there so many time since open. Kids love the meat and chips.

Have been familiar with the name Fam'z for some time now, The new Doner Kebab Project is very creative in its own way as they are redefining the menu and combinations for Kebabs. Apart from that , the Kebab itself was one of the best I ever had, Very good product in itself, And the ambiance they have created in store is just next level, Everything seems perfect and also the management in rush hours shows they are very good at what they do. Would definitely be coming back and recommend others.

Guy you need to find a way to turn orders around quick. Your business has potential but to keep repeating customers you have to make it a fast food joint. Still waiting 30 mins on. Increase the amount of sauce you put in your kebabs, it's like a teaspoon

My experience at Famz Doner Kabab was amazing; I was drawn in by the welcoming atmosphere and, in particular, a staff member. I was walking when this wonderful staff member approached me and offered me a sample. She was extremely pleasant and courteous.

My family and I order from here once a week and the food is really  good. The staff are also very friendly. Very good service overall. Everything is nice and clean. I really like this place from the food, service and ambience. Would definitely recommend them! I highly recommended this place.

I went there twice. No parking available. Not really participating in Social Distancing. Food is OK. It's nice when your hungry. Cleaning I wouldn't say it's to standard clean. Older youngsters and adults suited to be honest.

Not really a family oriented place to go... nor the view is any worth or the comfort. They have high chair at hand.

Cleaningness in my opinion NOT so good and handling of food not so great either. At first I saw wearing gloves when handling food but later saw no gloves.

The store did participate in the Eat to Help but their prices seem to gone up little from previous I sought to remember.

The staff are ok. But not always polite.
There is no parking unless after 6:30pm only single yellow line. Do me careful during the day.

Food tastes very nice but sauces do lack a punch. Better to takeaway as the seating area isn't well ventilated and there are no fans or air con to deal with hot days and the heat from the kitchen.

Being honest, this place is really good however, only because it was half price, the bill was reasonable. When it comes to every day prices the menu, seems very unrealistic. The chips aren't good quality and same goes with the grill chicken burger. There was a lot of wait,(1hour+) but that is because of the half price offer. It is just like any other gourmet burger shop in Ilford, just slightly cheaper.p

New Gem discovered on ilford lane. Naveed was at best with his customer service, and rest their food will talk.
Give a 1 Try to this new gem. Em sure you won't regret.
