Very friendly service and pleasant setting. Prices are good.

The karak chai tea was authentic in flavour. Recommended

The chicken sausage roll sadly was very bland and the pasty quite oily and not flaky. The portion of chicken was generous though. Probably best to order something else from the food menu.

People do really love visiting this outlet. It is mostly busy on weekends and people craving for late night munching are often found here. They serve  specialities of Mumbai dishes like pani puri, pav bhaji, samosa and many other dishes in desserts, breakfast, cold drink, hot drink etc. People seem to love the most famous Chai of this outlet, chai is a hindi word for tea. The ambiance is quite radiant.

Visited twice on the basis that the wife loved the Karak Coffee... I bought the Karak Chaii and it was 'ok' but on second visit I bought a Karak Chaii and have to say it was a perfect hot drink - just right in terms of viscosity and creaminess.

The Halwa however tasted appalling. It was so sweet it tasted completely artificial - sad to say since the presentation was nice.

Interior was nicely put together, love the lighting.
When it's busy though, it's the last place you want to be sat in, as the space can be quite restricted - some crowd control would be recommended.

Anyway, we'll be trying you again next time we're in town - such a refreshing break from the mainstream coffee shops!

Cafe serving Indian Street food delicacies.
There are some really wonderful dishes on the menu that you won't find anywhere else.
It's tasty, eating in can be a bit hectic and the service while friendly can be a bit slow.

A very busy place especially in the evenings. Has some seating but fills up quick. Tea is a speciality here and the food is pretty decent aswell- priced very competitively- nice and clean inside and quick service

Went here with a couple of mates, service was good, decent portion sizes, tasty smash burgers. My mate who is an absolute monster/unit (being 5 ft 2 and 60 kg) put down a 5 layered smash burger with turkey rashes and seemed satisfied so you know the food is probably good. You have acquired a potential repeat loyal customer, but don't charge me for sauce. Thanks.

My new favourite burger spot! Will definitely be making this my regular. Amazing burgers and the potato waffles were soo good!

Terrible Burger and equally terrible wings

For an £8+ burger, expected a whole lot more.
Made from plastic rather than real cheese, tired salad ingredients and burger squashed down to about an inch in height. Fairly rank bad to say the least.
Wings wernt full size buffalo wings but tiny half wings. Dried out and I deep fried. Prob cheapest on the market. £2.50 a protion of 3.

Lots of halal burger competition locally. Wont be be back

Pretty sure more than half the reviews are faked (owner asked or got friends to leave untrustworthy reviews). The burgers are below average. Honest burgers or any other half decent place blows this place away. You'd get better quality buying some £2 burgers out of Sainsbury's, some rolls and making them yourself. Normally You're paying extra for quality, simplicity and something more special than what anyone that almost never cooks can make in 5 mins for less than half the price. Don't waste your money here for some greasy dodgy tasting meat/chicken. You'd do better yourself.

Amazing burgers, best customer service as well, will be back again, highly recommended!

I tried out doner caves new naga infusion kebabs, for those who haven’t been here the main concept here is pretty much similar to GDK. 

This thing was like a flipping volcano in my mouth, I did request the kebab to be cooked very well done but some reason it didn’t happen even tho I was the only customer there & staff member said it would be fine. But the garlic sauce here is really nice too can’t fault that. Other downside was there wasn’t much kebab inside there was more tortilla than the actual kebab, I think if they were to cook these with onions too until it’s caramelised it would be miles better as well. I think this cost roughly £5-£7 I can’t remember now. 

Overall: 

Food: 7/10 
Service: 8/10, just ordering for takeaway so not much to comment about that 

Parking available on side road after 5:30 I think it’s free

One of the best Doner Kebab I have ever had in a long time!! Very authentic taste! I'm glad to have Doner Cave in Tooting area. This area needed this a lot. I cannot wait to order again recommend this place to my friends and colleagues! Thank you :)

This place and its menu seems to be a rip off the chain German Doner, a joint that serves good food. Anyway, this place is more expensive but the meat quality is terrible. Only been here once but the taste was a bit off. The texture wasn't nice at all. It seemed the meat had been completely ground down so it felt like I was biting through butter rather than meat. Maybe the meat hadn't been cooked properly? Anyway, it's the worst doner meat I've ever had.

Amazing customer service and the food is amazing. 

The Dutch baby is just sublime , I mean who does want to eat a massive Yorkshire pudding !! .
The organic chicken was also perfectly cooked , perfect brunch food

My favourite little coffee shop in Balham! Lovely ambience and atmosphere, great coffee and tasty food. Love the unique brunch options but the cakes & pastries are delicious too. They even do bespoke handmade cakes for special occasions which are incredible - the best birthday cake I've ever had! 

The staff are welcoming, friendly and always happy to help. Highly recommend (and am delighted it's so close by!)

This is one of my favourite places, the coffee and food are wonderful, and the owner and staff are always welcoming and very friendly.  I can't recommend the cakes highly enough. We've had two birthday cakes made, which were both beautiful and truly delicious.

Wow - what an incredible find this is! Easy to miss as it’s right next to the overpass in Balham but BOY am I glad I wandered in here. Firstly, Tom the barista is such a delight. He was very informative when I inquired about their signature ‘Apple blue’ drink and any questions I had about the pastries. The cinnamon roll was so done so well, it was light, just enough cinnamon sugar and overall delicious. The chunky chocolate chip cookie was so soft and yummy. I can’t wait to come back and try their brunch menu which sounded unreal! Highly recommend to check this place out, you won’t be disappointed.

Incredible brunch, the blue cheese burger was out of this world. And the shawarma meat succulent and so tasty.
A definite place to visit when you are in Balham.
