If you're hungry and want value for your money then this is the place to go. All chicken is halal only. The portion is massive so be careful when ordering. Burgers come with 2 chicken fillets and are big in size. Overall nice venue, well spaced out the tables. Food wise can't complain, good chicken. Love the fact that they serve potato tots. The only downside is that the meat burgers look good on the menu but sadly not halal, so I'm hoping soon they manage to become fully halal so I can visit again.

I was super excited to hear about this place opening in shoreditch having heard how much they’re killing it in the north and therefore had high expectations for this place. Unfortunately those expectations were not met 😔.

The chips were not as crispy as I had expected and lacked crunch. Also I was surprised about the small portion serving of chips presented. On to the burgers and it didn’t have that wow factor. Out of the burgers we did order I would recommend the Swiss tony and the last samurai thigh. There signature burger the fat hippo was okay, but not great. We found the patty to be slightly over cooked even though we expected it to medium rare.

We were super gutted to not experience their milkshakes as the machine was broken, but we understand that it is a new opening and that they were bound to have small niggling issues.

Apart from the small teething problems you would have with a new restaurant opening. It was a nice experience but not one where we would be coming back in a hurry.

Paying £14.50 for a beef burger might be expensive, considering a fully loaded Gourmet Burger Kitchen (GBK) burger will set you back £12.60 and a Five Guys burger will cost you £8.95. However, Fat Hippo is not your average burger. I ordered the Hokus Porkus and it did not dissapoint. Every bite was juicy, crunchy and messy. The beef patty and American cheese is paired up with pork scratchings, jalapeno peppers, black pudding, kiev mayo and bacon crumbs. The burgers also come with an individual serving of fries with cajun seasoning.

The menu features eight beef burgers, five vegan burgers and five chicken burgers to choose from. The drinks menu focuses heavily on beers (although there are no draft beers). There is also an indulgent dessert menu (starting at £6) that headlines with a black vanilla soft serve, blended from almonds + cashews that is only available in this Shoreditch location. Give the "This is America" dessert a try - black vanilla soft serve ice cream, peanut butter and jam.

The service delivers the Northern warmth and cheekyness you expect given Fat Hippo was born in Newcastle upon Tyne. The interior is large, accomodating 108 covers. Ask to be seated on booths next to the window - comfy and offer a great view. The only two areas for improvement to complement the sixteen sauces in offer (£1 each) are the fries and non alchoolic drinks. The fries could be a bit cruchier. The non alcoholic drink options should be more varied than soda. If you are after a dirty, indulgent, fully loaded burger, Fat Hippo is your spot.

A bit small portion for that price, but very tasty burger. Nice and competent service. Not bad house beer. Unfortunately there's no draft beer available. Generally nice places. I'll be definitely back soon.

My mates and I decided to check this place out today! We left full and happy, certainly not disappointed.
The food took a bit longer to arrive but it was worth the wait! Burgers were big and juicy, really nicely flavoured. We upgraded our chips to dirty tots! WOW - loads of mini hash browns  with bacon and yummy sauce.
Staff were all welcoming and smiley! We’ll be back soon!

If you're in the mood for a delicious and filling meal, German Doner Kebab is a great choice. The kebab meat is perfectly cooked and seasoned, with a crispy outer layer and juicy inside that leaves you craving for more.The sauces, especially the garlic sauce, are a must-try and add a great depth of flavor to the dish. Very nice location restaurant a Tad small, food and beverages was okay. Kids enjoyed the food alongside the salad the chefs cooked, tasty, kebab, wrap and the staff serving on the till was very efficient and a good salesman.

Also, bus routes 135, 271, 141, 43, 55, 2430, short, walking distance away.

I ordered a fries box with chicken. I got home, no fries, no chicken. Just a whole bunch of average salad.

Their advertisement says Tuesday 2 for 1. This is the first time I come into this place. I ordered 2 mains on their self-checkout machine, paid, trusting them to have price of one, then realised it’s full price. I asked the waiter, who claimed he has no control over the machine, and what I paid is what I should pay.

First visit. Friendly and helpful staff. I had the chicken katsu curry. Chicken was made fresh. Curry sauce used is good quality (Java curry). Rice was excellent quality and cooked in a good quality rice cooker. Very tasty meal. I will definitely be going back.

A nice newly opened sushi place in the area. If you want to eat sushi, it is a place you should definitely give a chance. The employees are quite friendly and their products are delicious. Chicken katsu is a feast of taste.

Good sushi and great value! Fish was fresh and tasty, food was made on the spot, portions were generous and staff was super friendly and helpful. We did order a takeaway, got some discount for it and enjoyed the feast at home. Would definitely be coming back!

I ordered 2 bubble teas the flavour itself was okay but the plastic cup that it comes in leaked through and the other one I accidentally dropped it and it fully cracked. Wasted 3.99 on it . The sushi gave me a stomach ache too.

Nice place! Lovely staff. Service was quick and easy. Madiha & Sanjay always look after me with their quick service. Very tasty sushi and a great variety of dishes to pick from. I recommend this place to anyone! 😊👍🏼👍🏼

Lovely atmosphere, great decor, and great music! Definitely appreciate the attention to details. Food was great too, portions were quite large; and the selection of cocktails is impressive! Only negative, they are not great at keeping track of reservations (I received an email after our dinner saying we didn't show up...).

This was hitting the spot! I loved the food and it was a decent sized plate of food!! The flavours were great and a little spicy but it felt that’s what was needed. The drink I went for a mock tail but would probably try cocktails next visit. Ill definitely be back next time!! It wasn’t so busy when we visited but it can get very busy so booking is recommended. Love decor and atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back!

Delicious and absolutely worth the trip!

The food was flavorful and very well seasoned. The servers were kind and friendly, working as a team having taken our orders and bringing our food in a timely manner.

They serve proper Caribbean food: I would know being of Haitian descent. It was such a pleasant surprise and I really look forward to coming back upon my return to London.

Best part? Excellent prices. Great value for money.

This restaurant was wonderful. Excellent staff. We were seated properly and the Food was GREAT! I wish I had taken more photos as we ordered quite a bit. We do have plans to return. I’ve seen and heard mixed reviews about this particular branch but mainly good so I thought I’d give it a go.

My partner and I came here for dinner as it was local. We were greeted by a gentleman called Alex who to begin with was very friendly and attentive.

We ordered drinks (myself a bottle of wine) and lemonade and my partner ordered a cocktail, additionally we ordered starters (salt fish fritters and hot wings)

The drinks came out quite quickly as well as the starters which was good.

The salt fish fritters were mediocre. You basically get 3 small fishy balls of dough, they definitely were not authentic Caribbean salt fish fritters and overpriced for the size and lack of quality - do not recommend.

The hot wings were nice, cooked throughout, chicken was falling off the bone very tasty but again, overpriced. 3 wings for £7.

Drinks were great, my partner ordered The Killer Duppy in which it was so nice he ended up ordering 3/4.

My wine was ok. Ordered lemonade to add it as a spritzer and half way through my lemonade it was taken by a waiter, they didn’t even ask if I had finished it they just took it which I found weird.

Now onto the main course…

I ordered the curry mutton with rice and peas & coleslaw with a side dish of Mac & cheese.

The curried mutton was very unappealing to look at initially as it looked very runny but all in all, after eating it it was very delicious, the meat was tender, the rice and peas had gungopeas instead of red kidney which is what I prefer - overall very tasty. Coleslaw was nice and the Mac and cheese was very cheesy although I must say the portion size for the Mac and cheese is a joke. Even a baby would have a bigger portion size than that.

My partner ordered the jerk pork ribs and buttermilk chicken. Which included skin-on fries, Mac and cheese and jerk sauce.

In all honesty it didn’t look appealing in the slightest, his appetite completely went when the food came out, the chips tasted like they had been reheated, he took one bite into the buttermilk chicken strips or whatever they were and felt sick. The jerk sauce literally tasted shop bought, it’s like they just poured it out of a bottle and served it - not fresh at all. He didn’t even touch the ribs as his taste buds were so scarred from the dry buttermilk strips.

My partner could not finish his food due to the poor quality of his dish and I raised this to the waiter Alex and it was as though Alex went from being friendly to being annoyed within second. I said to Alex we’re not gonna pay for this food as he’s hardly touched it and Alex argued against it and said my partner had clearly touched it and that he’s only taking 50% off. It seemed as though he was more annoyed about losing money than the well-being of the customers. I didn’t argue against it and still paid half the price but took the service charge off which is something I never do.

After that, I felt as though Alex’s attitude had changed towards us, he went from being happy to stern, it definitely changed the atmosphere and made us feel uncomfortable. I even apologised to Alex and stated that I’m not meaning to be a pain but were gonna pay for something that’s hardly been touched and Alex just shrugged it off and carried on walking.

When we asked for an extra cocktail we waited longer than usual and I feel this is because of how annoyed Alex was. We then just decided to leave and asked Alex for the bill and he took forever to print off a simple piece of paper, taking his time to walk around and converse with people sitting right next to us knowing we were waiting.

Overall this gets 3/5 stars. My meal was ok. A bit overpriced for the portion sizes but the food tasted good. It was just the poor experience with how we were treated by Alex that’s left a poor taste in my mouth.

I must admit since getting home, I’ve felt quite sickly. Would we return? No.

Absolutely amazing food! We ate in( there is a small eating area upstairs) so do not think it's takeaway only! The meat was amazing  quality tasting,great dips and sauces  and brilliant customer service! Highly recommend!

Coming from America, I usually don’t have access to Turkish food, so I was hesitant to try this place. However, I am very happy that I came here! This food was incredible! The chicken was perfectly cooked and the rice was almost buttery. Definitely would recommend coming here.

We were in the area looking for a Halal restaurant to eat at and stumbled across The Munch. As soon as we walked in, all of the staff warmly greeted us. The interior was clean and inviting whilst the food on display looked great.

At first, we thought it was primarily take away. However, we soon realised there was proper seating upstairs and opted to dine-in.

The food was truly amazing. Fresh, high quality and a very generous portion that filled all 3 of us. We opted for the Munch Platter which is highly recommended!

Hospitality and service was also top level. Despite being a small restaurant, our server took the time to check-in on us multiple times. Also, we were again warmly greeted on our way out.

May Allah SWT reward the brothers for their hard work and efforts and grant you much more success. Jazak’Allahu Khairun.

Good looking store although one of the windows was broken. The interior is very Shoreditch cool, upbeat and quick queue system setup. Some seating in here as well as Instagramable swings. I'd recommend going for the bowls rather than the bao buns as I was expecting the bao buns to be hot.

Otherwise the food is tasty enough.

Now doing halal chicken aaand beef so you've got options if you adhere to that diet. Not the soy sauce isn't halal.

I ordered a build it salmon poke bowl with extra salmon and all the trimming. It came to a total of £15.85 so expected a decent meal. The meal was made nicely and staff was friendly and polite. I didn’t have to wait very long at all as I was the only customer. The only complaint I have is the freshness of the salmon. I love salmon which was why I paid £4.50 extra for an extra serving of it. But the salmon that came with my poke bowl was tasteless and only tasted of refrigeration. There was no smooth or rich taste of the salmon fish as expected due to its fatty content. I would have expected this from a poke restaurant selling fresh ingredients day in day out. Either the fish was of extremely low quality or it has been in the fridge for too long. Extremely disappointed. I had to take out the fish and throw it out as it tasted of nothing.

Generally pretty good and super quick. A £10 for a bowl. It's pretty ok for Uber Eats, but a bit much for lunch bite. Particularly considering the amount of salmon seems to have been slowly decreasing overtime. I also generally find there is a lack of dressing, which I can't fix when it's delivered. The salmon be a little hit and miss, I sometimes find it's excessively fatty and have to just remove it. Overall, the portion just sends a tiny bit small. It's not quite filling enough.

The entire team served with exceptional speed whilst still having interaction with their customers (which definitely is appreciated!)
A nice lady named Jay in particular, provided me with some kind words, after a stressful start in the office. It might not be much to her but the lil deed echoed through my day boosted mood :).
Now been coming every day for lunch 😂 (as seen in my picture)

This is THE BEST vegan fast food place ever! The concept and idea is amazing. The Burger is the best one I ever had! The “cheese” tastes better than real cheese!!! The “milk” shakes and ice cream are amazing. Just go and try it your self! You won’t taste that it’s vegan! I’m not Vegan and I love it!

Great taste, great vibes. Liked the old school boombox playing 80's classics. I'd be happy to try it again.

Probably the best burger I have eaten. Delicious. So good and tasty. The peanut butter shake is incredible. I dream of visiting Halo Burger.

Typical chain brand ramen, fast food basically.
Noodle does not taste like hourly fresh, more like unfrozen from fridge.
Korean fried chicken wings are too sauce heavy, and the bones easily got pulled off, suggesting it was probably not freshly fried.
Given the price, no complaint if the expectation is correctly adjusted.
Service is good.

A very nice place, waiters are very friendly and helpful, which is always a great advantage. The place has a good variety of tasty biers, and there are also vegan options. I have ordered a ramen, which in my opinion was too spicy, but overall I have still got a nice experience

Bone Daddies was better than other reman places nearby, in my opinion. We could get double toppings for just two pours extra. The Tonkotsu ramen was good. I liked their noodle. The portion was good too.

If you love Ramen, this is an excellent choice. Various tasty opinions, they also have temporary specials - very good.
A few non ramen dishes are also on the menu.
The location is in a not busy side street away from the main traffic. Like to come again.

I didn't know what to expect here and decided to try it. The ramen is delicious, and an excellent choice. The Old Street branch is a bit off the main road and is a great find. Service was fast as well. I had a ramen and a a duck bao and found it to be a really nice mix.

Looking forward to coming again.

I really quite enjoyed this establishment. The menu design was lovely, it was simple as not too many items on there so you don’t waste time choosing and the staff were friendly. My one little quarrel is the fact that it was a tad bit cramped in the part where we sat, it wasn’t an issue as such it just felt odd because we were right next to the bar. The food though was absolutely amazing, well priced for London and taste was irresistible, I am normally a slow eater but demolished it.

Probably the best burger I’ve ever had, no joke. I had the Soho which is a pesto burger that came with rosemary chips, and I wish I had taken a picture of it to share with you. A perfect meshing of flavors and a cute location just outside of Chinatown. I highly recommend.

One of the rare restaurant still staying unchanged post COVID. Very good food and quality food, good portion. Did not increase their price. Shake up the menu by having a special burger quite often, and staff very nice! For an excellent burger at reasonable price, don't hesitate and go there!

Nice spot to have a burger.  The atmosphere is very laid back.  There is ambient music in the background but the good thing is that it's not so loud that you can't hear conversations.  The burger was nice, not too dry which is great.

Ordered a burger here but had to leave before it was ready. One if the staff came running after me a block down the road up stairs and across a street with my food! That's quite the customer service and the food was tasty too! Definitely recommend.

All of the chicken in our restaurants is halal. If you would like to see our supplier’s halal certificate please ask your server when you arrive. Halal products are stored separately with strict processes in place to stop cross-contamination. Halal chicken items are handled with separate utensils and gloves. Fried halal chicken burgers and wings do not share fryers with any non-halal items. Grilled halal chicken breast burgers are cooked on a reserved area of the grill separated by a grill divider. We do not offer halal beef at any of our restaurants.

I had just stopped outside and was looking at the menu through the window, an employee came out to speak to us and told us about the food they served. The food was amazing, great portion sizes and reasonably priced.

Super takeaway lunch spot. Sweet n sour chicken with rice 👌 the wraps are good but small for the price, the other options are better value. Burger was great but could use a sauce for the chips .

Being a regular for years - it's truly heartbreaking to see the quality of food and portion sizes go down so much. Difference between regular and a large is quite a bit in price, yet a large gives you 90% rice and 10% chicken as it seems. Never thought I'll say this about this brand but PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THEM! Look at this! £10.95 for few pieces of chicken and huge portion of rice 🙃.

Amazing spot for some quality Korean fried chicken. I’m not too big into spice but the sticky soy and honey flavours are 10/10. The lady at the till is super friendly too. One of my colleagues are vegetarian and recommended their cauliflower dishes too if you are vegetarian.

Came down to London for a few days and tried many Korean places but Seoul 90 was by far the best! Everything tasted amazing but the Korean fried chicken and the kimchi stew were especially delicious! Not only was the food so tasty but the staff were lovely and the tunes were great! I’m definitely coming here again the next time I come down to London!

This place is a MUST GO when in London. Not only are the staff incredibly friendly, the tunes all absolute bangers but you can tell that the food is made with passion and love - it was delicious! I would have gone many more times if I had discovered it earlier on in my trip. Cannot recommend it enough :))

Amazing place! The cashier and her family seemed super lovely and made me and my friend feel right at home. We loved seeing their beautifully happy environment on such a cold day :)) and the food was immaculate!! We'll defo come again

This is one hell of a burger! If you are on your search for honestly one of the best burgers in London, then look no further!! The best quality meat that you can find on the market today, paired with some amazing grilled AND pickled onions, american cheese and house made burger sauce what more could you ask for?! Great burgers. It's in LaLaLand which is only partially open at lunchtime through the winter. Staff are really friends. The cheeseburger is excellent, the spicy fries are tasty and the Szechuan pepper on them is lip numbing.

Incredible burger and the Szechuan fries are insane. Double up on the burger and make sure to get the honey chilli sauce for the best experience. We’ll be back again (and again, and again)

More a 4.5... Really good juicy burger. The meat itself was a little on the bland side for my taste and could have maybe used a slightly larger bun for the filling that kept pouring out.
Got on £5 burger Thursday deal in January and so was excellent value. Though £14 for a double without chips is just a little too pricy.
Still that's becoming the top end of standard now so if you don't mind that, then you could do far far worse than going here for a bite.

The place is nice and chill! We went for a team lunch. The seats are wide and tables are quite spacious which is nice as ofter there is never enough space where to put food.
We ordered a variety of dishes and each one of them was great. My personal favourites was the satay cabbage. Very tasty. Full of nuts for those who are allergic.

Nice simple decor with bench seating great for groups.  The calamari was excellent and our whole table enjoyed the food and cocktails.  The service was fast, friendly and efficient.  Not too busy for a weekday early dinner we booked in advanced to ensure we would get a table.

It was a cold, quiet Sunday evening, so not many customers. The decor was nicely modern and subtly lit, not traditional Thai.

But ,despite being charming, our waitress was slow to get our food back us, and my friend's "Crispy Duck" with noodles were leathery, dry and chewy.

After predictable and safe vegetable spring rolls, my "Sweet and sour Chicken" was neither of those, being served with a sauce lacking flavour, but with at least tender chunks of chicken.

I would go back and give them a second chance.

Spacious , bench seating style service was good but my Pad Thai was runny I didn't finish it, I have been here a lot but I think this was my first lunch time dinning so will avoid lunchtime. Calamari was a little overly hard this time but still same great taste.

Not the best experience for the price. No coca cola, no fruit for kids dessert menu. Kids were served prawn crackers in a dirty basket. The prawn crackers on kids menu were spicy then the kids Thai green curry was spicy and sent back.
Asked for the Coca-Cola to be replaced with a juice and still charged us for one even though they were out of the coke. Pad thai was ok. Staff were good but the entire experience was not. This was a birthday meal and that's the only reason I got the drink free. Nothing else. Seriously gone down the pan.

Rice and condiments were good, reasonably priced as well. Sambal chili could be spicier and the chicken was not authentic (chicken fingers instead of chicken wings as advertised?). Worth it if you’re in the area and are craving Malaysian/Singaporean food.

Oh my God, this place was MIND BLOWINGLY good. I got the chicken and mutton with roti canai. Let's break this down, the chicken was so tender, the flavours had me singing to myself, the Roti was done outrageous!! To master the soft fluffyness along with the crunch, takes art and serious technical skills! The MAIN EVENT, THE MUTTON, THE MUTTON, THE MUTTON. I went to bed and I was still licking my fingers to try and reminisce. It's been a week since I went and it's a week too long. Do NOT sleep on this place, it's an absolute diamond. This is what a curry is, not a chicken tikka masala!! I LOVE this place. I want to hug the chef.

Just poor quality. Siu mai look like cardboard and had a piece of cartilage in. Spicy chicken was just chicken tenders in a spicy sauce. Doesn’t stand up to culinary quality elsewhere in boxpark sadly.

Came here for brunch, made reservations ahead of time. The breakfast naan wraps are really well made and so flavorful, and you have the option of getting vegan sausage which is a nice plus. They have a good selection of drinks as well and the atmosphere is so nice! We are at the outdoor veranda which was very cute!

I took a flight just to come here! I must say, all my expectations are met. A great vibe in this restaurant. I love the food and the variety on the menu. The staff are super friendly. The taste of House Chai is unbelievably awesome, it simply brings back my childhood memories from India.  Thank you Dishoom! It was worth a flight to come here. Highly recommended!!!

Nice, almost like an Indian Street food tapas. If that's your thing, amazing. But I will stick to my curry houses next time.

We got here around 9pm on a Tuesday night and the wait was over an hour. A little surprised by that but the time went by pretty quick. They brought out some lemonade while we were waiting which was nice.
Food itself was great and the atmosphere is amazing as well.

Came here for a festive lunch.I wasn’t aware that the food was shared .I think the portions served 4. All items on the menu were included so there were some items that we all loved and others that we didn’t like so much. But we got all in equal portions. I had the non- vegetarian menu . Mince pie Kulfi was surprisingly creamy and delicious . Starters were my favourite- the brioche bun was buttery and too hot to touch(just how I like them) . Turkey was juicy and well seasoned .All in all, I highly recommend . Only issue I has was the limited amount of soft drinks available(juice and coke)

Our lamb and chicken is Halal. Alcohol is served. Bacon is served on our breakfast menu. Ask a member of staff for details.

Rudie's Jerk Shack (Boxpark Shoreditch)

Boxpark is a cool spot, and Rudie’s is in a nice corner of it, with their own bar and lots of open plan seating. The prices might be a little on the high side, but sure you could say that about nearly everywhere around here, there’s a gift shop downstairs that has fridge magnets for £16! Anyway I digress, we had the jerked up lunch boxes, and while they were tasty, they were not nearly spicy enough. For me jerk has to hit you like a spicy flavour juggernaut and this was quite mild.
Top tip, ask them to spice it up for you, and not give you tourist jerk!!

An okay price for a decent portion of amazing food. I'm a bit torn about Rudie's - the flavour of everything was really good (though a little mild?) however there were lots of small chunks of bone left in the curry goat and the jerk chicken also had a tonne of gristle and broken bones. It's alright if you eat with your hands but if you're shovelling in mouthfuls on a fork you could easily be caught out especially with the goat.
The flavours were so good though - the fried dumplings were the best I've ever had and the goat was really well seasoned. I was expecting it to be much hotter though.
The customer service was just okay - not good or bad.

After a long journey on the tube and the DLR this place hit the spot. The jerk wrap was tasty. The curry goat seasoned perfectly. The jerk was cool as well.  I can't complain.

I had the "Jerk it up" box - marinated jerk chicken with molasses sauce, and fried plantain. Chicken was very well made, and sooo juicy. Plantain was the perfect accompaniment. Freshly made and delicious! Also had a small pot of the "nuff scotch" sauce (not pictured). It wasn't as hot as I thought it might be, but it lingered a bit!

First time coming to this place and it was lovely. Had such a nice atmosphere in there. The staff were absolutely lovely. It was a busy Saturday afternoon, but despite this our food and drinks cake quickly. I ordered the sweet potato hash, and it was just lovely. For dessert I had the white chocolate and ginger cheesecake which was gorgeous. Overall, I lovely meal, though I will say the menu is very limited to either a few brunch items or burgers, so if you're looking for something with a bit more variety, this probably isn't the place to eat.

Love how the interior is very contemporary but rustic. A bit like Tom Dixon vibes.

We were seated on a. I’ve table and ordered the lunch menu offer with the main course and drinks deal.

I had a delicious burger and we also had some chicken wings as a starter.

Service was professional and the waiters always came to make sure were satisfied with service.

One word of warning is that they have some system with splitting bills or payments, that need to be verified with the waiter with card machine.

Otherwise this place is really nice casual lunch or dinner spot when you need to cheer up!

Great atmosphere! We had a dedicated waiter who served is whenever we needed. We wanted to remove absinthe from a cocktail that we had and he was kind enough go and ask the bartenders and they said that’s fine, we then ordered the same drinks and he remembered we did not want the absinthe.

I love this place. Great atmosphere. It’s a good place for a date night. It’s quite dark but has great music and vibes. They have live music most nights - every time I’ve been they’ve had live music. Nice staff and great cocktails. I love the spicy margarita.

The cornbread is nice. Very sweet. The artichoke dip is AWESOME! Highly recommend.

Our chicken is halal and can be cooked separately from all non halal options on request.

Casa do Frango Shoreditch

Wonderful experience at Casa do Frango Shoreditch! We visited for a Thursday night dinner and it was fabulous! At arrival, staff was very accomodating - we asked to change our table and they immediately accepted our request. Food was phenomenal! Their chicken is just a dream. We paired our food with a bottle of Vino Verde. We left happy & satisfied! What a great experience - we'll be back!

I came here to catch up with a friend who's veggie and there was some really good options for veggie food. We were amazed when we ordered the cauliflower and a whole cauliflower arrived, delicious!

I ordered the pork croquettes for myself, which I have to say were not that great, I felt like they were lacking in pork, mainly potato and were cold.

The atmosphere is great, and the front of house guy who greeted us went out of his way to give us a great table upstairs- a nice touch!

Delicious Portugese food. The ham croquettes and the cod fritters are amazing! The green rice side is also very tasty. They also provide blankets if one feels cold when sitting outside.

Warmest welcome from the staff as soon as we arrived. Although it was quiet it was still extremely comfortable, staff were a delight especially Yemi. She was perfectly attentive, knowledgeable and a delight to converse with. The food! Sensational, well seasoned, well balanced and complementary throughout the menu. The salgadinhos and bacalhau fritters are a must try. I’d only ask for more on the menu especially since some of the more complex dishes are pork limiting the experience for some, only upsetting since I wanted more. Also this is not a place for a large meal unless you’re ready to order quite a few dishes. Great for brunch/lunch with drinks. Drinks are as well balanced and refreshing as the food which is rare in Shoreditch. It’s an experience due to the dedication and warmth from the staff that I’ll be coming back for. Thank you!

Nice food and service overall! I didn’t find their peri peri chicken very outstanding, to me it tasted not marinated enough, but maybe it’s supposed to taste light and healthy.
The room was a little tight, my chair kept colliding with the chair behind, less comfort while sitting.

Our chicken is Halal but we do not operate a fully Halal kitchen, as we use ingredients such as pork and alcohol in other dishes.

Visited this restaurant on Monday for a late lunch early tea. The food was absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately I can’t remember the names of the stuff I have posted bellow but highly recommend. The soft crab was one of the best things I have ever tasted. The staff were so lovely and friendly. One of our party has coeliac and they catered fully for his needs. Going out there way to change recipes to make them gluten free for him. I did not take a photo of the mango lassi but that was unbelievably good. 10/10 very responsibly priced. Would 100% come back to the restaurant

The Vietnamese summer roll was made fresh over here. Loving the ingredients they have here also the sauce they put in there mixture. The seafood pancake and the vermicelli ingredients and cooking were almost the same and didn’t see much difference in here. The pho was average and could do better with the flavours.

Stopped by to try out their new offering of banh mi baguettes. Also picked up a portion of summer rolls. All of the food was amazing! Definitely recommend. The summer rolls were 2 per portion however they were rather chunky with at least 3 big prawns in each so I was happy with the amount 🥰

Read that the reviews were good and fancied an Asian lunch so popped in for a look.

They had set lunch for 10.95, I thought it said either starter+main or main+dessert for £10.95, and I ordered spring rolls for starters and lemongrass chicken vermicelli salad for my main. Bill was presented as £14.5 for the special lunch set, so maybe there is some mark up or something. Food was tasty though and salad was massive with rice vermicelli, chicken, salad and picked veg as pictured

Just had dinner at this place and was absolutely amazing. Great food and friendly vibe.
Shout out the lovely waitress who suggested some crispy noodles and had a great smile too.

Categorically the greatest food I’ve tasted in a long time, London has some delicious treats to be enjoyed and this is a real hidden gem beneath the smoky metropolis. Perfecting food is a fine art and here they have mastered perfection, all the ingredients combine to an incredibly high level, bursting with phenomenal flavours, from the fresh vegetables, to the finest meats and well crafted sauces leaves you only wanting to return and try every other dish. Great staff, super friendly, attentive and considerate of your dining experience, cannot fault it whatsoever. 5 stars, thank you so much.

Flavours were good but I paid £14 (!!!) for a large wrap, alongside a £7 one, and both turned up exactly the same size (very small) and so overly greasy. Just so disappointed/angry that you can even get away with charging that much, for so little food. (Pictures taken on small side plates!!)

Came across this amazing Kabab restaurant while I was on a night walk with my bf and I was the happiest when I found a veggie option for myself in paneer. The kababs here tastes awesome with fresh ingredients. The staff is friendly and nice.

An amazing spot for a late night bite. Incredible flavours, super friendly staff and awesome vibes! Also really amazing fries and sauces alongside the mains. This place really stands out from your standard kebab shops, on quality, flavour and atmosphere. Will definitely return next time I end up partying in Shoreditch! Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful evening here tonight. The food tasted yummy and the service was excellent. The staff was very nice and friendly to kids too. My kids and I enjoyed both the meal and the service very much. Great music too.

I think my new fav flavour in wingmans is bird Khalifa. Garlic and chilli caramel with chipotle tahini. It was unique in flavours and super tasty.  The wings here are always juicy and cooked perfectly.

The bangcoq and Shanghai wings were always my regular order. Both are good choice. Subtle in spice and flavours. Tried the truffalo first time and probably would be the last time. Lol I don’t know why I risk it, I know I hate buffalo but still try it. Anyways I know many love it, don’t know how everyone loves buffalo sauce

The Classic thigh burger because I like simple no nonsense burger. This is the kinda burger you will eat and be like it’s not bad, but it’s not the best you had. It’s just about an enjoyable burger. Juicy thigh burger though.

The beef brisket Mac and cheese personally is the best Mac and cheese for me. This is perfect to all levels. The Mac and cheese isn’t super creamy and cheesy but the lightly sweet bbq beef brisket compliments the Mac and cheese. The truffle cheese fries again pretty decent. It’s not them overpowering truffle taste. Just perfect.

All in all so glad they close to home now. The place is bigger so no more hassle like the soho branch.

Came here with the family as my kids love wings and been meaning to try it.

There is a great selection of wings for all sorts of different tastes. Be warned with the Jamaican one, I love my chili and even this one got to me by the half way point (gets hotter the more you eat). The fire fries in the other hand we amazing and not to spicy.

Lost a star because the music was gangsta hip hop (not sure the actual genre) with loads of swearing. Not my choice of music and I like all sorts. There were also not many non spicy choices for those who can't take a little spice.

Can't comment on the other branches but wouldn't say this was particularly kid (under 10s) friendly because of the music and wing selection.

Headed to this place for dinner with friends on a Sunday. Ordered Bird Khalifa wings, Thai burgers and Mac&cheese with pulled beef.
The only thing we enjoyed are the wings, they were really tasty. Friends felt the burger was too salty and the Mac&Cheese was horrible. We tasted it and then just couldn’t finish it.
Also ordered passion fruit mocktail which was so sour with no other flavours.

Wingman’s have the best chicken wings in London! Their burgers and sides are great too!

If you want to play it safe just go for their buffalo wings but it’s worth trying all of their other flavours too

Came for their brunch on a Saturday afternoon. First time to the Shoreditch site and it was a good vibe, highly recommend. The wings were good as always and the value was decent. Served by someone called Tahlema (I think) and they were brilliant too.

They had a few big screens for the football to which was a good bonus.

Ordered the Truffalo Burger and Fries and my taste buds were absolutely ruined by an overdose of salt. Something must've gone wrong here because that food was actually painful to finish but I didn't want to waste my money. Only redeeming factor was wonderful customer service from the staff.

All of our Chicken is Halal. We don’t use alcohol in any of our sauces. The Short Rib is also Halal.

Probably the best scrambled eggs we’ve ever had. So light, creamy and fluffy. Would 100% recommend. The fresh juice was chefs kiss 🤌 However, I would appreciate if reusable plates, cups and cutlery would be used for eating in 🌱

Do you know how heaven on Earth feels?? You'll definitely do once you try the scrambled eggs in the bun with truffle and mushrooms. No extra words needed. Surprisingly there's space to sit here if you don't have anywhere else to enjoy your precious eggslut treat

Went here as we had seen the eggslut chains listed on one of the best places to grab breakfast in London and it was genuinely very good.

The prices are on the higher side, was around £4 for six hash browns and £14 for a sausage, egg and cheese brioche bun, but the taste was exceptional. The sausage was nicely seasoned and the bun was soft, yet still had a very subtle crunch on the outside.

I would say the truffle hash browns while they were nice, didn't really have much of that iconic truffle flavour.

What an amazing place to have breakfast; utter filth and we'll deserving of the name!

Without doubt the best scrambled eggs I've ever come across; so rich and tasty.  The Fairfax sandwich is a stroke of pure genius but would've been nice with a little bacon.

The hash browns were nice but could've been a little bit more crispy. The only complaint I could make is that there was no brown sauce available!

Fairfax with sausage and truffle hash browns. Heaven. Definitely in the top 2 sandwiches of my life. Possibly top. Lovely staff too!

Our beef bacon, wagyu beef and turkey sausage are halal available at all stores!

AMAZING Burgers!! The best fried chicken burgers I've ever had. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, we haven't been able to come here for quite some time but boy do we think about the food.

Hands down best fried chicken in London! The love and effort that goes into this food is insane. Ashley and her team in Shoreditch are so fast and efficient also providing such a welcoming service (even if it is only for take away for now). Well done guys keep smashing it and see you soon

Omg where have you been all my life!? They now serve halal chicken which is great. The juiciest chicken burgers, wings and tenders you will ever taste. I’ve finally found the best fried chicken burger in London!

Ordered from the Butchies in Camden through Deliveroo! Honestly this is the worst chicken burger, actually worst burger in general I have ever had!!!! The bun was stale, the chicken burger itself was like swallowing sand! The spicy sauce was bland. Only ordered because reviews seemed good but maybe the staff do the reviews themselves... Maybe when people go there to eat the food is better but even being ordered as a takeaway they should keep there standards and quality just as high. Really disappointed, even McDonald’s is better and a lot cheaper. Don’t waste your money guys... ☹️

My favourite chicken place so far in London 😊 the buffalo wings are epic with a very hot super tasty sauce. The burgers are massive and delicious mmmh

All of our chicken is now sourced from a Halal certified supplier and certificates are available at each site. We sell alcohol, but we do not use it anywhere in the cooking process. We also sell bacon in some of our sandwiches. The bacon is cooked separately from other food items.

The Clove Club

The Clove club is among my best food experiences in London. The service was excellent - I'm pescaterian and the staff were very accommodating with that without compromising the food choices for my partner who is a meat eater. The food was of the highest quality, the fish was fresh especially their snapper! The wine selection perfectly matched each course of the meal and the staff were very knowledgeable about the wineries as well as the wine varieties. The atmosphere is very relaxed and unpretentious. I would highly recommend The Clove Club to anyone who is looking for a unique food experience!

Most inspiring dinner I had in London. The restaurant setting is casual and chic, and service attentive.

The dishes played on textures and layers, which made every bite fun. The taste and choice of ingredients were bold and ingenious. We thoroughly enjoyed the wine pairing - the choice of wine and liquor was creative and they really enhanced the flavours of the food (probably the best wine pairing I have had so far).

The bill is big but worth every penny IMO! The individual portions may seem small, but you will feel satiated by the end of the meal. Cannot wait to return for round two.

All foods were amazing. I felt that many foods were inspired by Japanese foods.
We were staying at front room.that area's atmosphere was so good. There were only about 5 tables, I could secure enough spaces to be relaxed.the table weren't close to another tables. I think It's best for  important celebration.
On the other hand,I seem that dining room area is more lively than that area.
If you stay dining room area, you can see kitchen which chefs are cooking.

It's not often I spend £65 on lunch and walk away feeling like I got great value for money, but here we are. The food here is incredible, particularly the pork belly pancakes (which I understand are a staff favourite). The lunch menu offers best value for money.

Extremely well prepared food experience. It’s a very nice choice for a taste of Michelin and top 50 in London. I had a 6 course lunch set and it was a suitable amount. The servers were very passionate and in a great manner. The food is delicious with levels of tastes. I do recommend this place.

We do not have separate utensils, [but only] for vegetarian or vegan, which are kept only for them. We are a small restaurant without the space to accommodate something like that. All items are thoroughly washed, sanitised and sterilised in between uses. On being notified that we have a Halal guest attending in a few days, I make steps to make sure the menu will work for them. We have a 6 or 9 course menu. With 6 course we have 1 meat course. With the 9 course it is 2 meat dishes. As I understand it, vegetarian and fish and shellfish dishes are permitted as Halal food. Hunted wild game is ok – wild venison or wild game birds. If necessary we will order Halal lamb for a Halal main course, and make a separate Halal gravy to be served with the meat, then roast the meat in a separate pan, rest, carve and serve. Please call and give notice well in advance for Halal.

The Iskelé Restaurant & Bar

OMG! Firstly I am huge fan of Mediterranean food and after I had lunch at this place, this is my go to restaurant for Mediterranean cuisine. The staff was friendly and had a good knowledge about what they are serving. Since we are vegetarians we tend to be more careful as ask a lot of questions if we are unsure about some dishes. The server was able to answer all of them nicely and did make us choose some of the best ones. 
Will definitely recommend trying this place out for a nice lunch 🥗

The food here is so good that I landed up taking a takeaway of their mezze in a cool box to Edinburgh.

Wonderful food and service. We had the mixed mezze platter as too hot on a 34 degree day for much else and the selection was amazing. So happy to have moved onto this street, this will definitely become a local!

My boyfriend and I arrived here by chance when the restaurant we showed up for was booked and we were so happy we did!! Gorgeous meal, great atmosphere, friendly service. We will be back!

The Iskelé was recognised as the country's "Best Value" restaurant at the British Kebab Awards this year. And given the quality of the kebabs had during our review, this was certainly reflected in the prices. However, our greatest let down of the evening, and one we hope was only an incidental blip, was the chef's apparent heavy-handed use of salt in some of the main dishes. Otherwise, the kebabs were fairly well cooked.

In any case, one huge positive for The Iskelé was how well regimented all the waiters were. Despite it being a busy evening, they carried a constant smile with them along with an unstintingly positive attitude throughout as they served and catered for the requests of the customers with such professionalism that wouldn't be out of place at any high-end restaurant.
