We were met with brand new tastes and textures accompanied by thoughtfully curated flavours we all know and love. The aubergine was a stand-out but the wings are a must. The sandwiches will have to wait for next time!

Thank you to the lovely waitstaff, everyone was friendly and while busy the service was extremely timely.

Absolutely love this restaurant, I went twice in one week. The general and the buffalo burgers are the best in my opinion, as the k-pop one gets quite soggy and tastes like a banh mi (still yummy but does not really suit the name). The staff are always extremely accommodating. Can’t wait to go again!

My food mates had been raving about this place but with a baby it’s fairly difficult to do dinner so we made the effort to cross London for the lunch service at seven dials and it was totally worth it

Does what it says on the tin - next level chicken. And it’s so nice to have some fun refreshing sides (at a very reasonable price) rather than just heavy traditional American side selection which are abit much after a large fill of fried chicken

The wings and burger were just oozing with juice and had a delicious crunch on the outside

We had a very nice lunch at Chick 'n' Sours. The staff was very welcoming and the chicken delicious. We enjoyed the cool but quiet music. Their chicken strips and fries option for children was ideal for our son while we could ourselves enjoy our spicy wings. Everything was quite copious too.

I have been wanting to visit Chick n Sours for ages. I was blown away by how it lived up to the high standards I’d imagined for it. All the chicken burgers (or “sandwiches”) look amazing but I had the K-Pop and it really was so delicious. The pickled watermelon salad is a must!

We use higher welfare British chickens from family farms in Suffolk. All our chicken is Halal.

Ong Ong Buns

The most friendly bakery for Cantonese pastry. Family run business provides family like vibe. Lovely freshly baked pastries. Please support them and hope them find the next location very very soon!

Nice buns and offers fun flavours. However they are so over priced for what it is, pretty greasy as well.
I bought 3 for £11, one Chinese pork and 2 custard and coconut. It was definitely more bun than filling.
Fun to try, but probably won't be buying again at this price.

First visit here, staff was so polite, friendly and helpful.

Ordered the Korean Garlic bun, heard good things about it. Cost £3.80 and they popped it in a box for me with a fork.

I couldn't wait to try it, soft bun, with an abundance of garlic and flavours, only slight upset was, I thought it'd be a little more moist.

Will visit again to try out the other goodies.

Super friendly staff and really yummy food. Affordable prices and food is prepared quickly. A small seating area inside with cute decor. Lots of veggie options available too which is great. One of my favourites was the vegan steamed bar. Would love to visit again and try out more of the menu!

Ong Ong Buns leaves a lot to be desired given its current rating. I hate to give anything lower than 4 stars but this place needs to step up its game. The quality and taste are only average.

Adding a few ‘toes’ to the pork bun as decoration is corny at best. Better to just use that extra dough to size up the bun. Moreover, those toes get stale and dry rather quick.

The fillings were nothing special. The pork bun that came off the rack and the curry bun which was reheated at their stand (microwave under the till?) were still only lukewarm at best.

There are many better bakeries in terms of quality and price in the area / Chinatown that have a higher turnaround and baked fresh taste. I didn’t even want to finish what I ordered and hope to reheat them in a oven hoping I might be able to salvage the 8 plus quid I spent on them.

Reply to owner: there are bakeries where baked goods actually come out warm and fresh. I've decided to throw away the rest and prefer not using a microwave on food. No hard feelings. Hope your business can improve and take this as constructive criticism.

Our chicken curry bun is halal. Sometimes we have kimchi cheeseburger and the beef is halal.

Delicious and not too heavy tofu vegan bao bun! The seaweed fries were a treat too. The atmosphere in seven dials market is lovely with so much to choose from but I'm definitely going back to yum bun. Only request is they have vegan chilli sauce for those of us who like it spicy. Reasonable pricing too.

I was excited to try some food from this highly reviewed establishment. However, it left me very disappointed. I ordered the duck gyōza, which was a good portion size (6) and they were well cooked with a nice crispy exterior. However, the filling was terrible. I can only describe it as a brown, flavourless mush. It lacked texture, flavour and authenticity. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.

Yum bun has their bao texture locked down! I dream about these buns on a regular.
They are consistently good and the filling options are divine, got something for everyone: meat, veggie, vegan.
10/10 recommend!

What a grim old day of weather it was yesterday!!! 😠
The only positive was for us was making an impromptu dash into Seven Dials Market to try and get dry for a little while!
Couldn’t believe we had never been here before!! 😮

We plumped for Yum Bun to start, and these pics really do speak for themselves… EPIC!! 😍

Our fave things: The dumplings, if you do anything in 7D Market, eat these dumplings - maybe even get two portions!!! 🤩

Downstairs at 7 dials you will find a bao bun joint serving gyozas (two, crispy, nice taste, would have been great with dip) a slaw (fresh and crunchy) and two bao buns stuffed with a marinaded pork belly or fried chicken for £11.50 if you want a lunch time special.
It’s quick, grab a seat and wait for a buzz.

If you’re looking for a restaurant with relaxed vibes and mouth-watering food, Flesh and Buns is a definite shout.

For starters we ordered the Fried Squid (a must if it’s ever on the menu and we didn’t regret it 🤤), the Chicken Yakitori and the Korean Fried Chicken Wings. The sauce on the wings was spicy and scrumptious, and the Chicken Yakitori was flavoured deliciously. As a main, the Salmon Teriyaki initially seemed as if it wouldn’t be very filling but we sure were wrong! The flavoursome salmon steak was cooked perfectly, and served with pickled veg. I ordered the Grilled Aubergine, which was surprisingly good! 
The best thing about the place was the loud but friendly atmosphere, you could tell everyone was having a good time! 👏🏽 Quick note, the chicken is halal!

*only the chicken is halal* Found out that all the chicken served @fleshandbuns and buns is halal. So in went and checked it out. Pictured are the Korean fried chicken wings which where absolutely fantastic. Really sticky and messy but the heat and flavour made these the best things I had. The Korean wings were by far some of the best we’ve ever had. Succulent and falling off the bone.  The grilled broccoli is also a must, flavoursome with a slight crunch. For mains, the chicken boas were crisp and tender paired perfectly with the creamy sauce. The salmon was soft and really well cooked with a slightly salty teriyaki sauce and fresh cucumber and lemon.

This place is slightly on the pricier side but definitely worth it and we would highly recommend visiting !

Lots of different things on the menu.  They also have a pre or post theater prix fixe menu.
Food is hot and delicious.  I recommend bringing friends and trying different things.  The mains don't look they are a lot of food but it was filling!  The pork belly was great!

Really tasty relaxed dining with good service. The food is delicious, the octopus was not to my taste though, it was a little chewy, but to be honest we could have done without that dish.

We had the three course dinner and was so stuffed. Don’t be fooled by the words small plate!

Would highly recommend and especially since it’s been such a long since I’ve had such a smiley, welcoming service in a popular restaurant.

Came here for a birthday meal, we go the calamari, Korean wings and Tempur prawns as the started which was really nice apart from the calamari which was very salty. For our main I got the boa buns but the sauce that's came with it did not go which put me off my meal. My friend got the poke done which they said was really good which I wish I had gotten instead.
This place does get very busy so I would book in advance. Staff are also very friendly

This is a great restaurant for if you're a bun fan the atmosphere is very authentic and they have lovely staff too.

As for the food it was delicious! 😃

This is a good place for a birthday 🎂, date or catch up with friends. The sound levels are fine for talking and the location is easy to get to from local stations.

A hidden gem!

Went to this place on a Sunday, they have a 3-course menu for £26 which includes a starter, main and dessert which offers decent value in central London. The Korean chicken wings are crispy and flavoursome, however, the fish in the ceviche is not the freshest and lacks flavour. They also ran out of their crispy duck leg buns before 6 pm which was quite disappointing, however, the pork piglet belly was so tender and delicious! Desserts were warming and tasty as well.

The restaurant was nice and laid back and the service was attentive.

We loved everything about our brunch here. Wait line wasn’t bad at all, we waited for less than 15 minutes and honestly it’s suited in a beautiful neighbour hood so you can walk around.. the waitress was very nice and accommodating, we have 3 kids and she tweaked some of the dishes to suit them. The decor inside is lovely and the food was great. A lovely brunch spot for sure!

Great staff outstanding food and service. The pancake flavor changes so ask for flavor of the day ours was peanut butter and banana 🍌. Also the truffle egg was great but a little too truffle be ready. The shakshoka was great dry similar to the Arabic version. Coffee also great go for the cold drip 💧👍🏾

The reason I am giving this place four stars is primarily due to the quality of the food; otherwise, I would be giving this place two stars. The moment you walk in the door, I am greeted by a rude staff member. All of the staff members are pretty rude. When I asked for some tap water, I was told to get it myself. However, I can turn a blind eye to this as this is merely the lack of staff training. I got a red velvet latte that is overpriced, in my opinion, but it was pretty good and cute. The rest of the food was also of good quality. Overall delicious food but if I were to improve anything at this place it would be the staff.

Truffle Burger | Seven Dials

Went here for the first time to the market (which is brilliant wee spot btw) and don't judge me but you'd think going to a burger place you'd try a meaty burger for sure, but I'm doing 6 days vegetarian and 1 day meat and/or fish so I have to choose my days wisely and this was very much impromptu. But having chosen the only vegetarian option on the menu (its a pop up so limited offerings) the Veggie Truffle Burger (Beyond Meat) and a side of Truffle + Parmesan Chips, I was not disappointed. Considering my mate went for the truffle burger I had a direct comparison  staring me in the eyes while I was devouring my option. And 100% was not envious at all. The Veggie burger without doubt was the best I had in restaurant or from supermarkets and I put this down to the chefs and the ingredients obviously. Cooked to perfection, great flavour, texture which sometimes lacks when you get the plant options (some tasting like your biting into an eraser with same flavour I imagine) and filled me like a regular burger. Honestly will be choosing this option from Truffle Burger and comparing theirs to anywhere else I try (which is a high bar now) as it was great. I love my meat and so to say I didn't miss out is saying something. Honestly, if you want to try a meat free option and still feel like you're having a regular burger then this is the one. Kudos to the chefs at the Seven Dials. I'll def be back. PS Didn't give 5 stars purely because I wish it wasn't just a pop up and could have been in a regular restaurant as I'm sure they're menu would be on point.

I loved it!!! I have been looking forward to this for weeks, and finally got to try "The Truffle Burger"

It was very well balanced and the truffle flavour was just right. For an extra truffle kick get a side of the fries, highly recommend them. Seven Dials Market has a lovely atmosphere too

Their fries are always crunchy and full of truffle flavour. For that I would return anytime! The burger is good too. Meaty and juice although the truffle can’t be tasted much in it. Skip on the mayo, it’s nothing special.

Really was looking forward to trying truffle London.. But as some other reviews say.. The burger is nice but not "truffle" enough the chutney on it takes over the taste and the truffle fries.. Are the cheapest frozen chip's just lightly coverd in truffle oil and parmesan.. Pay for better quality products and those could be so much better.. Tried it now but won't go again, much much better burger places in London!

Burger was tasty. But Staff cooking with hands(no gloves and one staff wear glove just one hand).  He made chips with hands and use til with same hand and he never wash it. It’s small space and staff(3 pp) keep talking each other without mask. It’s ridiculous

Our beef is Halal. Or you can go for the truffle burger without bacon and you will need to let us know to remove the bacon when ordering. We have a separate grill which we use in Soho to cook the beef separate from any pork products.

Best chicken, tasty and so many flavors! Definitely a must!! You need to visit this place. Friendly staff and amazing food

I got the chicken arepa and paid an extra £4 for a rather small portion of fries, given the price. I was given tomato ketchup, and when I tried to change it for something else, the guy serving insisted that I would have to pay £1.50 for any other sauce. They should put these kinds of rules on the menu or tell you when you order as I could have got my side from somewhere else.

The menu (see attached photo) says £1 for sauce and no rules about the fries so I'm not sure if this rule, and the £1.50 price, was specific to me. The guy was so rude that I didn't even have a chance to tell him I get a mild allergic reaction to ketchup. I just gave back the ketchup as he wouldn't allow me to swap it for anything. Having spent £13 on my meal, I really don't think that was asking for much.

It's a shame because the chicken and the arepa were lovely, and so were the kitchen staff.

Incredible food, and they offer some excellent gluten free options - the guava glazed wings and yucca fries were amazing.

Setting, vibe, service and most importantly pizza were all faultless.
The girl looking after me was super nice and seemed genuinely interested in me as a human being, which in London is a rare thing these days.
The pizza was thin and semi-crispy with a perfect amount of char - superb. Margarita was top notch and the mushroom pizza is full of flavour, and made so well that the toppings don't destroy the structure of the base. These guys know their pizza construction.
Got the jalapeno salsa which was a great accompaniment.
Perfect end to a few days working in London.

Wow! What a fantastic experience for an affordable price. I would recommend anyone come here even if you are not near kings cross. The pizza is well baked, packed with wonderful flavors and definitely worth the price on the menu. The salad is pretty bitter so if you’re not a fan of that you may want to stay away from it. But definitely get some pizza from this place, you won’t be disappointed!

We dined outside when we went here due to the restrictions and I have to see this place was truly amazing wow. The wagyu strips on the pizza were truly a great idea because it worked wonders. We got a half and half pizza with lamb on the other side which was also good. We also got the garlic bread which was great. Our total, without drinks, was 30 which I think is a really great price for such great food. The pizzas are also really big so one is great to share!

The customer service was great, despite it being very busy. The pizza was phenomenal - best I’ve ever had in the U.K. and the prices are so affordable; £10 a pizza! would highly recommend.

Our Wagyu and lamb are both halal, and of course our vegetarian pizzas.

We were kindly invited to @manakishandnaanza and they really caught us off guard as it’s now easily one of the best spots we’ve eaten at in Covent Garden! The smokehouse chicken pizza included caramelised tomato sauce, chargrilled pepper, chicken tikka, mature cheddar and red onions (we got these removed). Just when we thought they absolutely smashed this combo on a pizza, we tried the Lamb Manoush and WOW! This included spicy lamb, fresh coriander, chestnut mushroom, mature cheddar and Za’atar. Honestly both meals blew our minds away! We’re already thinking about when we can come back 😂

The karak tea was soothing and delicious and to our shock, not being huge fans of coffee especially Turkish coffee, the Turkish coffee went amazinglyyyy with the Nutella (mix this well) 😍. With one of us being from a Turkish background, this might have to be a new little trick 🤫

Such a hidden gem, don’t sleep on this place 👏

Flatbread nothing like in pictures. Really sparse toppings. I had the “meat feast” which was BBQ sauce with a few random bits of chicken, lamb & minute circle of sausage. We were hungry so it filled a hole, served by a very pleasant waitress. It came in a huge pizza box which was far too big for the meagre offering inside. Drinks were served in paper cups, and the Turkish tea was a tea bag & fresh mint leaves. Disappointing.

Service is very very slow. Only one chef and one waitress.
But the waitress was so kind and amazing!
The food was very good quality and freshly made which elevates the restaurant’s rating.
The hummus tasted like it was store bought. Not freshly made so that’s a negative.
The pita bread had honey drizzled on it. Maybe shouldn’t have that and just stick with the normal plain pita.

I was pottering past this place with mummy and said hello to the lovely lady outside, who had bought a birthday cake for her husband, who runs the place. It was his birthday and we were offered free birthday cake. Mummy doesn't drink coffee, so we didn't try any of the coffee being roasted outside. But if we did, we would certainly have bought some.

Fantastic shisha, good quality and right price in a busy and central area. The service was really good of both of waitresses. I recommend this place to everyone and i will come there more often.

Friendly atmosphere. Amazing food in a very special setting - we chose to seat in a quiet area with low seats and table. Ordered to couscous Royal which was amazing and plenty of it!

Comfortable and warm place. Tasty food.
We felt like we were in Morroc. I like to have dinner at this place with friends and partners and visited in many occasions but this time there was a young lady very moody and rude who made us feel a bit uncomfortable , but nevertheless, it is a good place to visit. Hope next time don't see that rude lady there.

Loved the design tho.

I think you should work on the traditional moroccan mint tea. I’m sure you can improve it.
