@querkycafe Before lockdown, we visited Querky cafe’s newest branch in Shadwell. They offer well priced and affordable halal brunch and lunch options, everything from milk cakes and french toast to burgers and loaded fries, all in a cosy and comfortable setting with plenty of seating. We enjoyed the Querky Burger and Southern Fried Wrap, with crispy, tender chicken and a refreshing salsa sauce, while the loaded fries were cheesy and full of flavour.

So whether you’re a student looking for a place to study or craving a quick lunch and coffee, Querky Cafe is definitely worth checking out post lockdown !

Querky Cafe

Had a full English and the turkey bacon pancakes and both were delicious! Fairly priced for the amount of food you got and eggs were well done! Would definitely come back here, my boyfriend loved the beans so much he ordered a pot to go! Amazing decor and lovely staff :)

Firstly the tables were sticky, so we asked it to be cleaned, after it was cleaned. It was still slightly sticky.
Got the overload and no bigie breakfast.
Portion size were slightly smaller than other breakfast places. The eggs, Turkey rashers and mushrooms were served cold.
The mocha was meh.
The caramel frappe was the best thing for us.
Probably would not come here again.

Good food and an eccentric decor. Staff was good however the food and price felt underwhelming as my wife described it. Overall it was a pleasant cafe. The food didn’t match the hype and felt like there wasn’t much effort into especially if you are going to spend £39 for two people.

It’s very expensive. They gave us two teabags in each tea. English breakfast  is not very delicious. Table was sticky. The house omelette came with some weird salad even though it wasn’t in the description. Portion size was very small. I will not go back there again.

Dirty fries are the BESTT. The breakfast/brunch is nothing special but it hits the spot anyway. A bit of a sticky cafe but not too terrible that we couldn’t sit.

Rüyam Turkish Restaurant

Warm welcoming, indoors have spacious seating area but tables always feel sticky and not properly cleaned. Overall hygiene is poor considering its pandemic time. Food is very delicious and they have many varieties. 3 star because once you paid and leaving hardly any eye contact with customers or smile. Customer service is just ok.

My mum and I love the food here. Service was super quick and efficient, and the mini starters to set us off were delicious. Warm toasted bread, flavourful sauces and always, a refreshing salad. The meal itself was the perfect temperature, freshly cooked and amazing to taste. The wings I had were really crispy on the outside, by tender and juicy in the inside, packed full of flavour. The rice is always my favourite, cooked well with the individual grains separating beautifully. Not overcooked and mushy, nor undercooked. 
My younger sister had chicken nuggets and steak chips which are super yummy, and my mum has the mixed doner. Though slightly salty, the greasiness has definitely gone and we finished it all down to the plate.

Platter more expensive than other Turkish places. Ribs too salty,  not enough lamb chops per person.  Waiters are really good.  Clean,  fast service.  Nice family atmosphere.

I celebrated my PhD yesterday in this delicious restaurant. happy to tell that we passed a magnificent evening and the restaurant was definitely the reason for this outstanding gathering. The waiters  helped in a lovely style, the cuisine was very good and my guests were very  overjoyed. We shall surely visit again for more celebrations. Thank you very much.

Excellent service. Great staff.. The deco is really nice.. Clean and good environment.

Food is just exquisite.. You can taste all the flavours and the quality is good. 

I usually by the sea bass, one of the best serving fish I've had.
Great to bring the kids. 

Would highly recommend this place.
