Caramello of Didsbury

Caramello has never failed to disappoint. Their french toast is definitely amongst the best I’ve ever had! They also sell fresh Pistachio Croissants but you have to get in early for it. Full English breakfast and their Chicken Waffle are also worth trying. Would definitely recommend this place. Be prepared to wait for a table as it’s always full.

Absolutely beautiful food! Such a hidden gem.
We came to Didsbury just to have lunch here and will definitely be back. The service was great and the whole place had a lovely vibe to it.
Just wish we could have fitted in one of the amazing cakes!

I wanted to go since it first opened but finally got around to try brunch out with my friends. The food was immaculate, the service is a bit slow- also we had to queue outside for tables to be available as there were 3 of us.. all food is Halal I tried the full English with chicken sausages + Halloumi cheese. It’s very filling as I couldn’t have any thing else that day. We also ordered garlic Parmesan chips 😍 and French toast between the 3 of us. They accept card &cash…

The most delicious breakfast/brunch I’ve ever had - nice combinations of flavours that you don’t normally see being incorporated into breakfast dishes, with good quality ingredients and amazing presentation (and it’s halal!!). I had the mushrooms on toast with a poached egg and chicken sausage. The French toast is also a must have. The service is great although expect to wait for a seat if going at peak times.

If you haven’t been to Caramello, you definitely don’t know what you’re missing out on. Their French toast is just. WOW. In simple terms. I’ve been to many brunch places and had French toast from most famous places but nothing honestly comes close to Caramello.

Their chicken waffle is also very nice as is their standard English breakfast.

Have been a few times and will definitely carry on visiting! Would love to see them expand their shop however so that waiting times aren’t as long but I guess it’s worth it.

We love Thai food and this is one the best Thai food restaurant in UK. Very authentic food and super friendly staff. Pleased with my lunch experience, we had deep fried prawn (highly recommended), papaya salad( a bit spicy 🥵), Tom yum Koong soup and fried rice (super tasty and just like the one I had in Thailand). A bit shame they don’t have Thai drink or dessert but overall a beautiful place to have food!

We booked with short notice for our anniversary dinner based on recommendations by friends. We were blown away by experience. The staff were so friendly and accommodating and ensured we had a lovely evening. We were given a table downstairs where it was quiet and nice music. Staff were very attentive throughout our time there. They even treated us to dessert on the house, which was thoroughly enjoyed. Food was delicious and very reasonably prices. We will definitely be returning here and recommend it to anyone looking to have a great evening!

Well food was really good, very tasty but in my opinion bit overpriced. I visited so many similar restaurants across Manchester where prices were much lower for similar stuff. They charge extra for portion of rice which is part of green curry dish. 2 starters 2 main meal (one was just papaya salad for  10£) 250 ml the cheapest wine and pint of bear 74£ bit too much.

A friend took me over there for brunch. Very friendly staff and the place can be very busy in the weekend. Place to seat down outdoor as well. Food is nice overall. Will definitely go back :)

Korean Fried Chicken served with Kimchi Mayo 🍗 - £7.50
Wild Mushroom & Truffle Cappaletti Pasta 🍝- £13

So we started off with the Korean Fried Chicken and it wasn’t too bad at all. It was just a bit dry 🤧

Next, we have the Wild Mushroom & Truffle Cappaletti Pasta. This wasn't bad. It was super creamy and had so much potential but for my taste buds it was lacking in serious flavour🤠. And salt doesn't account for flavour. You can only add so much salt to your food before it tastes salty, while still lacking in flavour ( I know from previous experiences👽). So yeahhh not too badddd just needs flavour 🎶

Creme Brûlée was what we got for dessert. The flavour changes, so when we were there the flavour was rhubarb. I quickly discovered that maybe I'm not a fan of Rhubarb so I can't give an honest opinion 🤡, but my boyfriend thought it was great soooo yeah if you like Rhubarb and they happen to serve that flavour when you go, have a go at it.🤧

The strawberry daiquiri was amazinggg. Yes, I was wowed with the bubble smoke stuff, but the drinks genuinely tasted amazing! Had to go for 2 rounds. 😮‍💨😮‍💨

Absolutely love this place. Whenever I’m over from London this is my go to brunch venue. Staff are extremely friendly and courteous. Nice atmosphere, and best of all the food is amazing! Can’t fault it

Delicious dishes, beautiful presentation! The service was amazing we were warmly welcomed by the owner and the staff served us quickly.

Absolutely outstanding visit to the newly refurbished Seven54 Cafe Bar and Restaurant in Didsbury. 5* food, 5* service, 5*drinks and just a pleasure to have dined here with my family. They are also very dog friendly and cater for them too, which shows they go the extra mile for everyone. Dishes we had off the menu to start were the grilled prawns, lamb chops (cooked to perfection and high recommend) and calamari. Followed quickly by a lamb rump (outstanding), chicken schnitzel and the rump steak. If you haven't already booked in, I high recommend you do so. Will be visiting again very soon and thank you for the hospitality.
