Wanted to try something new for a change so I opted for a Sunday roast. Having come across Essy on social media, I felt it best to visit and try it out for myself. The Sunday roast chicken was very nice and didn’t disappoint whatsoever. The chicken panini was good and the French toast I felt could’ve been a lot better (tasted quite eggy and could’ve used proper brioche roll). On a overall, the food and service was very good and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

It was our last day in Manchester before we headed for London and we decided to get some breakfast. Randomly found this gem of a place! Breakfast not only looked absolutely amazing but tasted even better. Presentation and taste everything was spot on. Lovely customer service too. We also ordered banana bread for dessert and that was also lovely! Everything was really good, we thoroughly enjoyed this place. I hope it opens up in London 👀 They we’re halal which was great.

This place has been showcased on many foodie pages so it was our choice for breakfast. The halal breakfast - The sausages were so good, it was full of spices and could taste a lot of flavour compared to others we’ve had. The rashers were disappointing (minus a star), I feel like they were the supermarket ones that we usually buy for home. They really need to upgrade their rashers to make this better. Everything else was tasty however I felt like the portions (especially for the price) was small (minus a star). I love soaking my brekkie in beans and the pot they provided was tiny, so was the portion of mushrooms! The halal breakfast was £10.95 each and the tea was not a part of it. The presentation of the food was pretty 😍. Overall we wouldn’t go back for breakfast but we would come here on a Sunday to try out their Sunday roasts which looks amazing!

Amazing customer service from Shakeela at Essys over the weekend. First time experience as i'm not from Manchester. Definitely worth the visit! The team are ever so welcoming and friendly. Was helpful of them to give us recommendations on the menu - can’t fault anything tbh. Loved being there, enjoyed every second. Thank you!
