Zheng is a restaurant that caters in Chinese as well as malay specials. Their noodles are to die for. Also makes for terrific hangover food! Place is friendly and food is always fresh. Would recommend for sure

Very good Chinese-Malaysian restaurant. We had dinner and tried Dim sum to start, beef and chicken to follow. All the dishes were vey good as well as the service. Good job well done.

Zheng follows on from the success of its first branch in Oxford. Nevertheless, as impressive as the feedback has been for the latter, no less from the Godfather of Cantonese Cooking, Ken Hom, who succinctly concluded: "Great food!" or The Times Giles Coren who considered it: "Possibly the best authentic Chinese-Malaysian in the country", we weren't quite as enamoured by its Chelsea counterpart. While the set up of the place was thoroughly refined and elegant, including impeccable service with all food being served on warm plates where applicable, a few of the dishes didn't quite match the restaurant's ostentatious theme. Having said that though, and despite the Chelsea-inspired prices, there were a few outstanding ones that we'd definitely come back for. If you're looking for Malaysian-Chinese fusion food in fancy surroundings, Zheng Chelsea is the place. And be sure to take those few steps down to the basement to marvel over a framed rendition of James Dean's classic, Rebel Without a Cause, if only to see what a whopping Β£80,000 painting looks like! Menu Recommendation Drinks - Zheng Ice Coffee Starter - Fresh Seaweed Salad; Sesame Prawn Toast Main - Stewed Aubergine; Char Kuey Teow Dessert - Sagu Melaka

Amazing restaurant around the corner. Very clean and above standards. A bit expensive but for the quality of food it was a good deal. Portions a bit small but enough to fill you up. Prawn fritters were well fried and very tasty. I’d recommend
