Crave Ilford

⭐☆☆☆☆ I visited Crave in Ilford at lunchtime and was left quite disappointed. I went in hoping to try one of their advertised lunch offers, but when I asked, the young lady serving told me that they only do a buy one get one free pizza deal. This meant I ended up spending £25, as apparently nothing under that amount was available. To make matters worse, I was told the lunch deals are only available at their other branch. If that’s the case, I don’t understand why the menu with these offers is kept and displayed at the Ilford location—it’s very misleading. Overall, the experience was frustrating and disappointing. Clearer communication and accurate menus would go a long way in avoiding this kind of confusion for future customers.

I recently had the pleasure of ordering from CRAVE, and my overall experience was quite positive. We opted for the convenience of ordering via phone and later picking up our pizzas. Let me start with the highlight of the experience—the pizzas themselves were simply outstanding. The flavors were rich, the crust was perfectly baked, and the toppings were generous. It's safe to say that the pizzas were truly to die for, and this alone would have warranted a 5-star rating. However, I feel compelled to mention that the customer service, while not terrible, left something to be desired. The staff was courteous, but there was a slight lack of attention to detail that affected the overall experience. It seemed like there was room for improvement in terms of responsiveness and ensuring a smoother interaction during the order and pick-up process. This aspect prevented me from awarding a perfect 5-star rating. Despite this minor hiccup, the exceptional quality of the pizzas overshadows any shortcomings in customer service. If CRAVE can refine and elevate its service to match the excellence of its pizzas, it would undoubtedly be a five-star establishment. I'll certainly be returning for the culinary delight that their pizzas deliver.
